It was great to be back at Pennycress Inn with Laura and Jackson and to see how well it's doing. Nicola grew up at Pennycress when her mother, Vivienne, managed the Inn. After a horrible breakup with her cheating fiancè, Nicola is now working at Pennycress with Laura. The romance between Nicola and Charlie, the owner of Little Mead farm, starts out a little rocky, but ultimately turns into a really sweet romance. I love the quirky characters, the pretty village and I'm glad to see Claudette, the rogue sheep, is still causing trouble! A really fun read and very enjoyable!
Thanks to Netgalley, Boldwood Books, and Sarah Hope for the free ARC. All opinions are my own.

A second in this lovely series, we follow Nic as she moves on after being devastated by a cheating partner. This is a sweet love story and I enjoyed the return to Pennycress Inn.

Was amazing to be back at Pennycress Inn again and to catch up with Laura and Jackson, but this book focuses on Nicola who was brought up at the Inn when her mother managed it and due to her fiancee cheating found herself without a job but ends up working g on the marketing of Pennycress Inn.
Charlie has inherited his uncles farm and his only intention was to bring it up to best saleable value and head back to his life in London.
Nicola finds herself given the task of speaking to Charlie about lending his farm machinery to the village fete but when he declines Nicola makes it her mission to change his mind.
This was a great book with lots of interesting characters, I would love to have seen her ex fiancee getting his comeuppance but still a fabulous book oh and the sheep is back.......

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me the privilege to read this book.
I enjoyed this book a lot, there were some times that interactions seemed a little weird. Not in a bad way it's kind of hard to explain, there were just times I had to go back and double check parts, because I would be confused for a minute. Eventually though they would be fixed, but at random seeming times. It was just a little hard to follow. I didn't realize this book is a second in a series, and this issue doesn't stem from that. You can totally read this book without reading the first.
However despite all of that I can't wait to read the first and as much as I can by this author. Reading this book though you can get around what I said above it's not enough to through you off track and it's one of the best romance books I've read in a while. This is comfy and cozy, and it reads like you're watching a hallmark movie, which is why the above doesn't matter that much for me this time around. It is truly a hallmark movie in book form. A book to come back too over and over again when you want fun, happiness and comfort and I loved it!
Thank you so very much again for allowing me to read this great book I can't wait to read more and I am so grateful to have this book finally bring me out of my reading slump!

A beautiful summer romantic read. Sit yourself down, grab a cuppa and find yourself transported to Pennycress Inn. The characters are lovely. The setting is gorgeous and I loved every minute of this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I had not read the earlier Pennycress Inn book and dd not initially realize it was part of a series. I now plan to go back and read the earlier book. Great beach read.
Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Loved the first Pennycress Inn book and same for this one. Nicola has come back to work at the inn where she grew up when her mum worked there in the village of Meadowfield.. She's been asked to help with the local carnival and has to go and ask the farmer at Little Mead if they can borrow his tractors and trailers. Unfortunately it's bee taken over by Charlie who has said no
