This was a cute read! I think the narrators did a great job!

I’m sure a lot of people will fall in love with it as it is a small town in Alaska, enemies to lovers type romance. I just didn’t. Don’t get me wrong it was enjoyable, it just wasn’t love for me, which is why others probably will if you are a Laura fan!

Myles and Montana have some fun interactions! I especially loved how they first meet! And it all flowed really nicely!

It just kinda felt like the same old same old. There was something missing for me unfortunately.

Tropes:
-small town romance
-billionaire romance
-enemies to friends to lovers
-banter
-dual POV
-forced proximity

I adored Montana and Myles, a sassy wedding planner and a billionaire who is tearing down a sentimental inn. This is the start of Laura's new series, and I am ecstatic.

This is set in a small town in Alaska, which gives off Hallmark vibes. It was probably one of Laura's funniest books. I laughed out loud several times. The banter between the MCs was on point. They have adorable nicknames for each other. The amount of groveling Myles does to make up for destroying the inn is incredible. He makes such heartwarming gestures.

I listened to the audiobook. Troy Duran and Cicely Meadows do a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. The set-up for book two has me itching to read it. The next couple is going to be delicious. This book/audio releases May 27th. I hope you read it and love it, too.

Thanks, Laura, for the ALC.

We're in Blushing, Alaska, where Montana has lived happily all her life. She runs Blushing Bride with her best friends and she loves her small town. There's been a boom in business since a celebrity decided to get married there, but her life is about to be messy. A billionaire from NYC has bought the hotel that is the venue to all their weddings and she's pissed. She's so annoyed and cranky that her best friends suggest a night out so that she can "decompress", if you catch my drift. While at the bar, under a ridiculous alias, she meets Myles. He's perfect: hunky and an out of towner. Fit to a T to a no- strings-attached one night stand. They have a spectacular night and Montana leaves in the early hours. No feelings caught. Sorta.

Myles can't believe that the wedding planner who is very angry at him for buying the hotel is the same wonderful girl from the night before. Well, well, well. He wasn't expecting to see her again and, most of all, he wasn't prepared to not want to let her go.

But she's a small town girl, he's a NYC tycoon who doesn't believe in love. It doesn't matter that they become the best of friends. With benefits. This can't go anywhere. Or can it?

I love love love Laura's small town romances and this is definitely a great start for the new series. I'm invested in this little town! I also love a broken hero and Myles is made of swoon. He pines and doesn't even know it!

There are woodland creatures (a moose and porcupine... even a honey badger, IYKYK) and the side characters are intriguing. I can't wait for the next one!

I have loved every single audiobook in Laura's past series, so I have high expectations. They were sadly not met here. I just couldn't vibe with either narrators. The femme narrator is adequate when voicing female characters but her alpha billionaire sounds like a teen boy. The masc narrator sounds way too old and his female voice also sounds like a teen boy. It all kept throwing me off. I guess I am spoiled with all the amazing audios that come from Laura....

The story, though, is delicious small town, low angst goodness!

Content notes: toxic relationship with parent, mentions of abandonment and cheating (not MCs)

Miles meets Montana on accident and they have a crazy one night stand, under fake names! Fast forward to the next day & Miles is the enemy buying the beloved Seaside Inn in Blushing, AK. Montana is a wedding planner and the SeaSide Inn means the world to her, and is her income too. Will they grow on each other as they are forced to work together or will they continue to hate each other until Miles completes the job and moves to the next?

I really expected this to be a cookie cutter, sweet romance but with the humor, the banter and the character healing/finding real love made this so much more in the best possible way. Montana is a bad a$$ FMC too which is always a plus!

Narration: I enjoyed both narrators!

Tropes:

Can someone sign me up for Charlie & Violets story please?!

Oh my, Money Bags! You, Me, and Forever by Laura Pavlov was a sweet and swoony small town romance that simply did deliciously good things to my heart. I’m adding the fictional town of Blushing, Alaska to my bucket list because I’m so in love with its charm and the people who live there. Montana and Myles’ fling to forever romance definitely has a piece of my heart!

This audiobook is performed in dual narration. While the story was adorable with just the right amount of spice, the narration at times failed to capture these qualities in an enticing and immersive way. The female narrator’s energetic tone conveyed Montana’s bubbly, feisty personality, while the male narrator’s deep voice exuded all the alpha billionaire. However, their performance was mediocre when it came to connecting with intimate moments.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of a small town romance set in Alaska with a broody hot billionaire, a loyal sassy wedding planner, a bar meet cute turned one night stand, tension filled banter, moose and porcupine local wildlife, dinner date truce, private jets, meeting the family, spicy times, vision boards, romantic weekend getaways, catching feelings, stubbornness, love declaration grand gestures, and a HEA that includes forever, then you will love Montana and Myles’ story. I always look forward to more from Laura Pavlov.

You, Me And Forever is book 1 in the Blushing series and it was absolutely perfect. What a beautiful start to a new series. I couldn't put it down. I have yet to read something by Laura that I haven't loved and devoured. I absolutely adored the setting of Blushing, Alaska, a quaint small town where all the residents are so close. It just brought such a sense of closeness and family to it all. The entire storyline was so interesting and really fun to follow. It was a very fast, easy and unputdownable read.

Myles & Montana have some crazy chemistry. Their banter is so damn fun, the back and forth between them had me chuckling quite a few times. The spice was absolutely scorching hot 🥵 I loved their nicknames for each other, just made me laugh every time. The way their relationship built and progressed was great. How Myles really grew and changed his ways was beautiful to see. The Porcupine & Moose had me dying of laughter 🤣 As much as there were a lot of funny moments, I did get teary eyed a few times, I did kick my feet in happiness and I closed the book with my heart being full.

Overall, this was an amazing start to a new series. I absolutely adored the setting, the characters, the storyline and I already can't wait to go back to Blushing, Alaska.

🎧 The narration by Cicely Meadows & Troy Duran was good. They brought the emotions and brought the characters to life. They made me truly feel everything. They had the right tones for the right moments. I enjoyed it!
