Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book for this author and I believe this book is the first in a series.

The story follows Arianna, who enters Hart Law with one goal in mind: revenge. She wants justice for what happened to her family, and she’s determined to get it by digging through the firm’s secrets. But things take a turn when she crosses paths with Nathan Hart—the son of the man she believes has wronged her family. He’s a broody, powerful, completely off-limits billionaire… and absolutely magnetic. Their connection is instant and intense, and watching it evolve was such a rollercoaster. You could really feel the tension and chemistry between them.

I loved Arianna, she isn’t just strong—she’s smart, resourceful, snarky and emotionally complex. And Nathan… well, he comes across as a player but actually is a much deeper character. Throughout the book he slowly lets his guard down. It makes you really relate to him and start to really root for him.

The plot has some twists, which I loved. I found the writing sharp, and the emotional payoff was really satisfying.
The book is steamy and it starts with a bang (literally) but the story is also full of romance. So if you like a steamy romance with a strong female lead, you’ll love this book.

As I said, this is my first book by this author but I’ll definitely be reading some more of their books.

Too Hard to Resist by Olivia Spring.
The love hotel book 3.
I did enjoy this book. I loved the cover and blurb of this book. Even though I haven't read the first two books, I was able to read this one without feeling lost in it. I loved the setting. Italy sounded so gorgeous. The way Olivia wrote i really felt like I was there. I loved the chemistry between Sammy and Romeo. I will definitely be looking at books 1 and 2. I do recommend this book.

This was a fun, spicy, summer romance! This was the first book I've read from Spring's Love Hotel series and I loved the premise. The idea of staying at a hotel where you hopefully fall in love with your hand-picked soulmate is so fun and unique! Though this is the third in the series, I thought it was definitely readable as a standalone romance novel. I thought Sammie and Romeo had such great chemistry and I loved the "forbidden" nature of their relationship. It made the tension that much better between them! Overall, I enjoyed this one. Definitely a great beach read!

I didn’t enjoy this book—something about the writing made me uncomfortable. Instead of approaching the FMC’s curviness with openness and body positivity, the narrative often felt off-putting and detracted from the story. It read more like “super hot guy falls for the woman everyone else overlooks,” rather than offering a nuanced or empowering portrayal.

Needed something light and thought—what could be more fitting than an Italian romance while in Italy?

Unfortunately, this one really didn’t work for me. I’ll admit up front that this isn’t my usual genre, so maybe I’m just not the right reader—but I found the story a bit too far-fetched to get into. The main character didn’t quite land for me, and the romantic chemistry felt more surface-level than genuinely earned. I struggled to buy into their connection beyond the physical attraction, which made the emotional beats fall flat.

The dialogue, especially the texting, was a challenge—I often felt secondhand embarrassment reading it. There were moments where I found myself hoping no one was reading over my shoulder.

That said, I can absolutely see this appealing to fans of light, escapist romcoms—just not my cup of tea. On the plus side, it was a quick read, and sometimes it’s nice to finish a book in a day, even if it doesn’t hit the mark.

This is just the summer travel romance I needed right now - a couple with instant chemistry and a love and passion too hard to resist, the beautiful attractions in this Italian coastal town, and friends and family who are supportive and encouraging. This is the third book in The Love Hotel series. It can be read as a standalone but I enjoyed the other book I read in this series so you might want to read the whole series.
Thank you to Olivia Spring, Boldwood Books and Love Books Tours for the opportunity to read this book early.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood for the e-arc of this book.

This is the third book in the Love Hotel series but I don’t think you have to read the other books in the series for this to make sense.

It follows the story of Sammie and Romeo in the romantic setting of Italy. Italy + summer + romance novel is sure win in my book. This is like Love Island/Married at First Sight feel but in book form. I did love this book as well as others in the series. I wish the Love Hotels were real and someone/a group would find me my “perfect” match. But this is a cute summer rom com that I would recommend.

Set in stunning Italy, this is the perfect summer escape for romcom lovers. From banter in the dialogue, to sweet nothings being whispered, to naughty fantasies coming to life, this book runs the whole gamut of feels.
I really found the premise of The Love Hotel interesting and hadn't realised this was book 3 in a series featuring this location. They appear to be a series of interconnected standalone novels, so I wasn't lost reading this without having read the others. I am guessing they focus on the friends as it is mentioned that they found love at The Love Hotel destinations also. I really liked Stella in particular so would like to know her backstory.
Romeo is the absolute epitome of an Italian stallion book boyfriend and I loved seeing the chapters from his perspective interwoven alongside Sammie's.
There are some particularly spicy moments, everyone familiar with Ghost yeah?! I was all for these scenes!
This was a super quick read, I finished it over about 8 hours throughout my Saturday. I reckon fans of summer romances will devour this.

Too Hard to Resist is a charming novel by Olivia Spring. It tells the story of Sammie who heads to a hotel in Italy that promises to find her ideal love match.

I thought this was a charming book. The characters were well-written and the storyline had me rooting for Sammie to find her Happily Ever After. This book is a fun romantic comedy that I found Too Hard to Resist.

*~* Most Likely to Cause a Deep Dive into Italian Historical Places *~*

Sammie deserved so much better than she was continually getting. These *boys* who couldn't see all that she had to offer, not just her beauty, but her determination and drive and desire to love someone and be loved in return. The Love Hotel in Italy was the solution. They did the work for her, they found her a soulmate and it was finally her turn to have her happily ever after with her match, Edward.
But of course, she would be the exception to the rule yet again, and her match ended up being a huge jerk. So what does Sammie do? She decides she's still going to enjoy this trip and luckily, Romeo is there to make sure she does.

I loved the adventures that Sammie got to go on and found myself putting down the book to google places and see if they were real and what they looked like in pictures. I really enjoyed this story and even though I hadn't read the first two, I didn't fee lost. Though I do have every intention of going back to read the first two books in the series now.

Thank you to Net Galley, Boldwood Books, and Olivia Spring for an eARC of this story.

What can I say, this third book of The love Hotel Series was just as great as the previous books!

I love the way Olivia Spring describes not only the MC's but also the locations, food, drinks.

The funny, cute and s3xy banter👌

Sammie is excited as she's finally arrived at the Love Hotel and hopes to meet her promised perfect match.
What a downer! Her said "match" is actually really awful and there seems to be no connection. When he abruptly leaves she's left to decide.. stay or leave. She decides to stay and go along with all the planned activities with hope that her intended match returns to complete their stay.

In the mean time as Romeo her "love Alchemist" keeps her company they can't help but be drawn to one another through intimate conversation and activities. But this attraction can not happen.. Sammie's match may return and besides, Romeo knows there is no fraternizing with guests.

The eyes see what the heart desires and the heart knows what the heart wants!

Recommend to add to your summer reading list especially if you are on "Stay-cation" or cursed with bad weather as this book transports you right to the lovely Italian Location🌞🌴🍹

Many thanks to Netgalley, Boldwood books and Author for the opportunity to read and share my thoughts.

"𝙎𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙨 𝙛𝙡𝙮… 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙪𝙮"

𝘛𝘰𝘰 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘛𝘰 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵 is a perfect escape-read for anyone craving sunshine, sass, and slow-burn romance with serious tension.

This gave me Love Island/First Dates/other reality TV vibes and I was ready to live for it!

I was unaware this was part of a series and there is mention of other characters, but I deffo didn’t feel the need to read another book to understand this one.

Set in the idyllic region of Puglia, Italy, this book follows Sammie, who signs up for the exclusive Love Hotel program in a last-ditch effort to find her Mr. Right. But when her match leaves early, Sammie finds herself drawn to Romeo—the gorgeous, rule-following Love Alchemist who’s definitely off-limits. Cue forbidden chemistry, witty banter, and some seriously swoon-worthy moments. 🥵

Sammie is funny, relatable, and refreshingly imperfect, and Romeo? The grumpy-to-golden retriever trope is strong with this one. Their dynamic is addictive but I do feel it fell flat and predictable early on.

The characters have genuine chemistry and I ate it up like a melting gelato in the Italian sun. But for me that is what was missing, the beautiful scenery and descriptive writing that would have taken me there. I wanted to want to book a flight but I ended up googling pics instead.

This book was an enjoyable easy read but dialogue heavy and predictable early on. It’s not going to change your life, but it will give you something to read while on the beach, sipping a cocktail and laughing at everyone back home in the rain.

This was so cute! This is the third book in the Love Hotel series, though it can easily be read as a stand alone. Romeo and Sammie with their forbidden love and witty banter were just too cute! I was rooting for them the whole time!! I'll definitely be going back and reading the other two books in the series! Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for my digital ARC!!

Tropes: Strangers to lovers , Forbidden love

General Thoughts: Olivia spring is my go-to when it comes to British romcoms. There is no dull moment in her story. I even forget where I am whilst reading her stories and this one was no different .

Book review: This is book 3 in “The love hotel” series and we follow Sammie who is surrendering her love life to the popular matchmaking resort in Italy. The aim is to be match with a man who is usually not her type but is prefect on paper. When she arrives at the hotel , she meet Romeo the love alchemist who will be ensuring Sammie and her Match have the best time. He is hot and she is attracted to him. When Sammie’s match decides to return back home to London to his ex without informing Sammie, she is left to continue her holiday as a singleton. Romeo is tasked to ensure Sammie enjoys her time at the love hotel at all cost, this task is taken further than just the client and matchmaker relationship.

Will Romeo give love a chance and lose his job or will this feeling between them be just a holiday fling ?

Will highly recommend this holiday/summer time read!

I wasn’t sure what to expect jumping into The Love Hotel series at book three, but I’m so glad I did! It totally works as a standalone, and I never once felt like I was missing something.

The idea itself reeled me in—a hotel that plays matchmaker? That’s exactly the kind of chaotic romance setup I live for. From forbidden love to accidental pairings and those classic “stuck together” moments, this book delivered everything I love in a rom-com. And the setting—sun-soaked Puglia—was just the icing on the cake. Olivia Spring described it so vividly, I felt like I was walking those Italian streets myself.

Sammie and Romeo? Instant chemistry. Their banter was sharp, their moments sweet (and steamy!), and I found myself fully invested in their story from the start. Honestly, I couldn’t put it down—it had that unputdownable charm with just the right amount of tension and heart.

One thing’s for sure—this won’t be my last Olivia Spring book. If the others are anything like this one, I’m in for a treat.

This was a sweet uncomplicated read. Tired of kissing frogs, and inspired by her friends' successes in love, Sammie signs up for the Love Hotel in Italy. Unfortunately her one true love match isn't quite what she expects and she ends up falling hard for Love Alchemist Romeo instead. Except love between staff and clients is strictly against the rules.

Sammie is a bit of a dork but she has such a pure heart that it's easy to root for her. Romeo is a true gentleman and dreamboat. A little predictable, minor angst but overall a lovely stress free read.

I loved this book, I’d not read the previous books in the series but will be adding them to my kindle soon

Sammie and Edward are matched to find love hopefully with each other but he then disappears back to London with no one able to contact after.

Romeo works at the hotel as someone to help the matches on their journey to find love. Sammie and Romeo have to hang out so that Sammie isn’t on her own on trips

As news comes to light about Edward and why he disappeared Romeo and Sammie get closer but what will happen if someone finds out what’s happening between them….

First of all thank you for approving my request!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.

I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

I even got a little emotional towards the end, what the heck is wrong with me??? lol
