This was a fun, spicy summer read!

The Love Hotel is renowned for matching lasting matchs, Sammie's friends are living proof. So when she gets a spot at the hotel in Italy, she packs up from London and heads to find her true love. Only her match is less than idea (he's super annoying and rude) and is called home on a "family emergency", but she's still holding out hope. Her guide, Love Alchemist Romeo, steps in to take his place so she isn't lonely in the couples only events and their chemistry heats up. Their banter is awesome and a real connection is made.

This was such a cute romance novel. It’s the perfect light and easy beach read. I think that the message of being enough for the right person is something that will be beautiful and relatable to many. I enjoyed the fun scenes with the activities and sights they visited while in Italy. I’m interested in checking out the other books in the series now, but this can easily be read as a stand alone.

I am totally obsessed with any book that Olivia writes and this one was no different, her romance books always have a cute / happy ending. They are the ultimate comfort romance, so easy to read and get sucked into.

This is the third instalment of The Love Hotel series, this time based in stunning, sunny Italy!

Neither Sammie nor Romeo had the best first impression of the other and spending more time with each other doesn’t sound like the best idea. Romeo and Sammie spend a lot of time together; sparks fly but they both know the rules, staff and guest relationships are a strict no no. 🙊

Okay so the chemistry in this was fab! I also adored how Sammie is connected to Jasmine and Stella and think the way the three books are connected and cross referenced was done so well,

The story is written in such a way where even though it feels like nothing happens for ages, when the moment happens it is like everything else falls into place.

The location of each Love Hotel is written so well that as a reader you feel present in the scenes - disappointing to look up and see cloudy London and not sunny Italy 🤣.

I think one of my favourite things about this series is how connected I’ve felt to the characters and their experiences.

I adored how Romeo from the get go is a good guy, has pure intentions and is well rounded character.

This is the perfect contemporary romance to read at the beach when relaxing. Because who wouldn’t want a trip to a hotel in Italy and eventually fall in love with a sexy Italian man??? That’s like the dream for tons of women haha and I’m jealous of Sammie and Romeo. And best believe Romeo lived up to his name! He was such a strong lover I may need to book a trip to Italy asap to find my own Romeo immediately.

This was such a fun and cute (slightly steamy) 'forbidden' romance.

Sammi signs up to go to the 'love hotel' to find her Mr Right, but when her perfect match on paper doesnt give her the sparks she hopes for and then suddenly leaves her hanging and alone, Sammi gets sparks for the 'wrong' guy... or maybe he was really the right guy all along ;)

To make sure sammi has a good time after the match they chose for her abruptly leaves, Romeo is tasked with making sure she is happy and given whatever she 'wants' to make up for the disaster of her perfect match not working out.

Things start getting a little bit steamy between romeo and sammi, could the mr right the matchmakers chose for her really be her perfect guy?? or would she find her true love herself?

Hard To Resist had an intriguing plot concept, but the execution fell flat. The plot was predictable, the pacing dragged, and the writing leaned heavily on repetition. The characters felt one-dimensional, often annoying, and lacked the complexity to carry the story forward. While it may appeal to a younger YA audience, more seasoned readers will likely find it underwhelming. Overall, a missed opportunity with a promising premise.

From the moment I read the heartfelt dedication (and spotted the playlist—yes, there’s a playlist!), I knew Too Hard to Resist would be something special. Olivia Spring whisks readers away to a luxurious Italian resort where Sammie, hopeful romantic and unexpected solo traveler, finds herself reluctantly charmed by the resort’s off-limits “Love Alchemist,” Romeo.

Romeo had me at pasticciotto—and if you know, you know. He’s thoughtful, grounded, and honestly? Too good to be true in the best possible way. Their chemistry crackles, even if Sammie’s bubbly personality occasionally leaned into overly loud territory (so much cackling!). Still, I couldn’t help but root for her.

Having visited Puglia myself, I was thrilled by how vividly the setting came to life. Spring captures the sights, flavors, and sunshine-soaked magic beautifully.

A fun, slow-burn escape full of humor, heart, and heat. Highly recommend for romance fans who love a grumpy/sunshine dynamic, irresistible tension, and a good bit of Italian flair.

this was the first book I read in this series and I loved it! I love a forbidden romance plus opposites attract. This book made me want to go to Italy even more and this was just the perfect summer read. Sammie and Romeo were so cute together and loved watching their connection form. Now I need go and read the previous books.

Thank you boldwood for the arc overall I fully enjoyed it, it was quick read, cute rom com, it’s starts with dating, matching holiday with main character when things go wrong but something else happens no spoilers in cute way ;) I like the characters and storyline and plot it was fun, cute book, and the spice was good and the banter was good overall 4 stars

This romance didn’t quite work for me. It wasn’t terrible—no glaring issues, no major red flags—but it just never really took off. The characters were fine, but I didn’t feel much chemistry between them, and the banter leaned more cringey than cute.

The whole “employee dating a customer” conflict was wrapped up so quickly it barely made a ripple in the plot. I know this was meant to be a breezy, feel-good rom-com, but I found myself not very emotionally invested.

That said, I appreciated the lack of unnecessary drama—the characters were respectful and non-toxic. And I’ll admit, the descriptions of Puglia were lovely and gave me a serious wave of vacation nostalgia.

All in all, not for me, but not without its merits. 2 stars.

PS: I personally don't find Michele Morrone hot, so the constant mentiones in the beginning were annoying, but luckily that stopped after a couple of chapters.

A lovely romance with a bit of spice. It's easy to predict they will end up together but the story to how they get there is always great.

Back at The Love Hotel to follow another couple’s journey to love! This series is so much fun and such a sweet escape. Perfect book to read poolside and get lost in the story. I’m just obsessed with Olivia’s books and they are all a guaranteed five star read. I love her writing style and it’s just completely effortless getting swept away by the story. So many tropes packed into this book including forbidden romance. Yes please! The tropical setting just adds another layer of to the sizzling romance that unfolds. Couldn’t have loved this more!

This is the third book of the Love Hotel series, this time Sammie, Stela’s best friend is sent to Italy, to the five-star all inclusive hotel at the beach in Puglia. Her Mr. Right is Edward but when they meet she doesn’t feel like he is the one. Meanwhile she is attracted to Romeo, the Love Alchemist, and it seems mutual so. The Love Hotel has a 100% success rate so, what will happen?
I enjoyed this story as with the two first ones.

this book is going to make you smile. and in that way where you tell yourself to stop it and know its not the kind of goofy smile you need to be seen in public doing. but its the gorgeous smile of true fizz and whizz you get from good books, good love, and good moments. the smile you can let go of your inner cynic and believe in this kind of Italian lovers brilliance.
and did it get warmer every time i read this book. it did indeed feel like i was under the Italian sun. Olivia writes in such scrumptious ways where you feel the scene around you. you almost smell the area, feel the ground she describing. i love the way she both made me yearn to go there but also felt like i almost was.
this book is part of a series and i loved how Olivia took us back to see some of the previous characters again. but it never felt like you were left out of something if you hadnt read the others. but you need to read the others you really do.
this book takes us to the Italian hotel that offers to give you your perfect match. except for Sammie it does not. ermm whats happened here. why is this girl who believe so much in love being given all the dweebs who dont? and so thats over,done but that doesnt mean her holiday is. because in steps a safety net. safe because he can give her all the experiences she came here for, all the excursions to enjoy with a partner. but also safe because the rules state hes a no go. and she is a no go. but whoever thinks they can tell love or connection where its allowed? because when these two meet and spend time together there is more than professional relations going on here.
but is this miserable gruff guy what Sammie wants?
and is this woman who believe too much in love what Romeo wants. especially as falling for this woman could lose him his job.
yes please yes please to this book. it was a corker. it was brilliant. it was one you want to open and look forward to coming back to.
the banter was on match with the sweetness. the flirty was on match with the deeper connections.
it makes you care enough about these two that you have that angst belly towards the end because you need them to have their happy ever after and are waiting for the romance tropes to make your heart hurt part way through.
this book was super. i loooooved it.

The Book:

Sammie is excited to meet her match - one of her best friends was matched at The Love Hotel and is madly in love. Sammie's match may be perfect on paper, but he's a lot to be desired in person. He's judgy and not so much fun. But Sammie is determined to give him a chance - Despite her growing attraction to her Love Alchemist, Romeo.

Romeo has been in a bit of hot water with his employers at The Love Hotel. He can't help it that some of the women fawn over him. He's not trying to flirt with them - Until he meets Sammie. He just can't help himself.

Told in dual-POV between Sammie and Romeo, this story follows Sammie and Romeo as they try not to fall for each other but are forced together.

My Thoughts:
This was such a fun book. I loved the setting and all the dates planned for the participants at The Love Hotel. Sammie & Romeo had great banter and chemistry, and I also really enjoyed Sammie's relationships with her friends (who she kept updated through phone calls).

This book has spice and some colourful language (neither of which bother me, although I did notice some of the language more than I normally do).

This was my favourite book so far and I enjoyed the others. This book made me cry and laugh out loud. An uplifting read with a good side of romance and hotness! I didn’t want to put it down, what a great series. Looking forward to the next book

This romance was so enjoyable to read. Sammie and Romeo just stole my heart. The connection they dared was so evident from the moment they met. I loved the development of Samantha's character and how she found herself. Romeo was a perfect character, he was determined to help Samantha find love. This book had an amazing plot and I loved the characters.

Such a fun read! Loved the characters and the build up of their story. I have not read the first two books of this series, but I plan to now that I've been introduced to this world and this author. Thank you NetGalley for this opportunity.
