Was an enjoyable read. Felt like the story could have done with more unique qualities as it is a very staple story line for cowboy romances. Regardless though, I love the characters, the vibes, the romance and it was a nice book to pull me away from the real life.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a nice, easy read. I do love a cowboy romance and this was giving Chestnut Springs vibes. It was fast paced and I wish it had been longer. After reading this book I want to hop on a plane to cowboy country. I loved all of the characters and I cannot wait for the next instalment.
Thank you to Netgalley for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

This was a really cute book, and I enjoyed the characters and the setting. I could really picture it all so well as I was reading. It did lack in impact for me as I think the plot was a touch predictable. That being said, I'm really excited to see where this goes next!
Thank you so much to Pan Macmillan for the ARC via NetGalley and for giving me the opportunity to share my honest thoughts on this book.

‘Untamed Heart’ is a sweet cowboy romance which centres around Lottie, who finds herself made redundant and discovers her boyfriend has been cheating on her. So the most logical thing for her to do is to escape to Diamond Back—her family’s ranch in Wyoming where she visited as a child. While she’s there she reconnects with her cousin, discovers what she wants for herself; as well as finds a cute-sexy cowboy named Cole.
I enjoyed both Lottie and Cole’s characters. I found Lottie’s development to be my favourite as she really took her life into her own hands and stopped worrying about others expectations of her. The way she stood up to her dad really cemented that for me. The side characters were all great, each one of them added to the found family feel. I’d love to see Lil, Hestia, Bailey and Jesse all again in their own respective books.
Now what marked the book down to a three star rating for me is that it just wasn’t long enough—something I rarely say when it comes to books. I really felt as if the author didn’t give enough time for the relationships and plot lines to develop enough. There definitely needed to be more time spent cultivating Cole and Lottie’s blossoming romance, to me it lacked a bit of an emotional connection. Plus, due to the story majority being in Lottie’s POV I didn’t think we were able to get to know Cole’s character fully so his development isn’t as visible and barely there. Also, the plot surrounding the conflict with the neighbouring ranch, I think needed more time to develop, it was as if it was a secondary thought in the way it was so easily solved.
Overall, it was a light-hearted read with a charming setting and even more charming cowboys; and that classic small-town romance which held some cosy moments. I appreciate the slow-burn of it as the pace suited the story well. I also enjoyed the themes of second chances, reconnecting with one’s roots, and finding unexpected love in familiar places as they all woven into one another seamlessly.
3.5 🌟 — Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a must read for cowboy/small town romance lovers! It has a bit of everything, it felt like a cosy read with a beautiful setting and great characters!

Huge thanks to Gemma Morr and Pan Macmillan for this ARC <3
Okay, so imagine this:
Your London lawyer life implodes, your boyfriend cheats, and late-stage capitalism is rotting your soul. So naturally, you flee to Wyoming and get emotionally wrecked by a brooding ex-rodeo cowboy named Cole, who, of course, is emotionally unavailable *and* secretly soft in that “I don’t do feelings (but only for you)” way 😮💨
Yes, some tropes are familiar (hello rival ranch drama), and I selfishly wanted more of Cole’s POV (the bonus chapter was a tease 😭), but honestly? None of that stopped me from tearing through this in one sitting.
This book isn’t trying to be edgy or shocking, and that’s exactly why it works. It’s comforting, warm, and hits that sweet spot between emotional growth and romantic chaos. Like watching your favorite slow-burn series with a cozy blanket, snacks, and just the right amount of drama. If you’re into cowboy chaos, healing arcs, and that classic enemies-to-lovers “I hate you but also please hold me under the stars” dynamic, this is your next read. Also: I now want to move to a ranch and pretend I’m not allergic to hay and feelings. 🤧🐎
Final thoughts:
'Untamed Heart' is your go-to when your brain needs a break but your heart still wants a little drama. It’s comforting, spicy, and just unhinged enough to keep you locked in at 2 a.m. yelling “just KISS already.”
✨Not groundbreaking. Not trying to be. Just vibes, heat, and emotional damage with a cowboy hat on.✨
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Will I think about Cole’s jawline and emotional repression for the rest of the week? Regrettably, yes.
4 stars. Yeehaw, but emotionally devastating 🤍

who doesn't love a cowboy romance! This story does move very fast, and the love at first sight thing can be a bit weird, however I didn't get that feeling with this book at all. It felt right, and the pace felt right. My only gripes with it was how Lottie calls her mother 'mum' then 'mom' and the other characters in England using very americanised slang. (maybe they do in London, im in Ireland so they might very well do!) It just threw me slightly and I almost had to backtrack at the start to see where the scene was set.
Very low level spice for a cowboy romance and the scenes are over quickly, so might be a very good read for those that don't necessarily like spicy scenes!
Overall, it was an excellent and easy read and an absolute banger for summer. Im desperate for a holiday on a ranch now!

If you’re fans of Elsie Silver and Lyla Sage this may be your new cowboy obsession!
I loved the story line of this book. I felt like I was routing for Lottie from the get go, she deserves so much more 💁🏻♀️ I felt like there was natural progression/pace and loved the tension between the two main characters. I loved some of the side characters too, they definitely added substance to the storyline and I can’t wait to read their books too!
This was told solely through Lotties POV however I did love the bonus chapter at the end, told through Cole’s POV 🤭 I’m greedy, I definitely love a man’s POV throughout a book!

This was such a fun rom com with cowboys. I loved the two main characters in this story and where their journey went. It was fun and entertaining.

I am an absolute sucker for cowboy romances so this was right up my street. I enjoyed the story and loved the characters. The only thing that would have made this book better in my opinion would have been to have a dual POV. Other than that, I really enjoyed this!

As a die-hard Elsie Silver fan, the western romance bar is pretty high for me. The premise of this seemed potentially repetitive of others but still fun I decided to give it a go. There were some really wonderful moments in this book that I really loved, some twists I didn't see coming and other times I felt like the characters were too black and white, the problems too simple and easily solved and the insta-love borderline giving me the ick at some moments.
Some of my notes that would take this book to the next level (*some are slight spoilers so proceed with caution*)
- Lottie and Cole are calling what they have love when they barely know each other, as evidenced on page 143 when they're asking stupid questions like favorite color. I think there could've been more moments sans physical contact to give their relationship more depth.
- The ranch needing social media and basic marketing upgrades was too simple for me. And Lottie using thirst traps of other cowboys to do it, also felt very inauthentic and stupid marketing wise. She was not doing anything that would be a strong point of differentiation from a different ranch. I would've thought she would've gone for more of a heritage approach and women (her cousin) in a male dominated business, I think that would've added a layer of depth for her seeing this and taking a more unique marketing approach then shirtless men.
- Little details were sometimes missed, on page 177 Lottie references borrowing a non-Western shirt from Lil's closet when we know from previous pages that her wardrobe was more London/corporate appropriate, so needing to borrow a shirt made zero sense here.
- Tattling to the matriarch of a rival family to get her grandsons off their back was a twist I didn't see coming, so props for that, but not one I liked necessarily. It had an empowering tone to it that was nice, but it felt really weird that Lottie came up with it when she hasn't lived here in years and it never dawned on Lil. I thnk Lil came off as really stupid in this book to me to not have thought of using social media or talking to her grandmother's best friend to help with her issue with her grandsons. I also think this was a potential missed opportunity to have Zach who introduced himself to Lil which made me think they'd never met before so maybe he might have liked her and that be a rivals to lovers romance later down the line in this series.
- I think there was an opportunity to make the characters less black and white, it felt very obvious which were good vs bad. There seems to be no recovering for Lottie and her dad for instance, where there could've been more fleshed out characteristics that made him a character that could show growth and good intentions instead of just clearly being a bad guy.
- One of my favorite moments in the whole book was Cole saying 'I can't lose you' on page 240, that's a line I've seen before, but the way it was built up and the scene set up was really well done.
I think I'll continue this series and look forward to Hestia's book but I hope there will be more character development, less insta-love and greater effort put into the details.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book. A gorgeous 4 star read book from me. What an exciting plot, vivid storytelling and relatable, rich characters. I couldn't put this book down – absolutely loved it

This was a short and cute cowboy romance — perfect as a palate cleanser between heavier reads.
I think the story would have really benefitted from being a bit longer and including a dual POV. That would’ve made it the perfect romance!
I did really enjoy the ranch setting, and even though it was a bit predictable, Lottie and Cole’s story was super sweet.
My favorite characters, though, were Hestia and Jesse — fingers crossed they get their own story in the future!

A good little slow burn cowboy romance. I loved the relationship between Lottie and Cole and the way Cole could flick between total gentleman and total sinner. Small town vibes and a good plot. Would definitely recommend

Thank you Pan MacMillan for this arc opportunity!
This is a cute little slow-burn cowboy romance that follows Lottie whose life essentially is turned upside down and she retreats to a place she grew up. Cole is a rugged ex rodeo star who isn’t too keen on getting to know the new girl.
I really loved the sense of “coming home” for the fmc and finding her place. The charming mouth on this cowboy + his protectiveness was so attractive.

This is a very easy read that reminded me of a Hallmark movie! This plays out exactly as you expect it to but that is the joy of a Summer rom-com, sometimes you don't need twists and turns, just a happy ending. Obviously with cowboys too! A perfect light Summer read.

Firstly thankyou for giving me a chance to read this book.
I have to be honest this took me a while to get into. I feel like if the chapters were shorter I'd be more pulled into it, however once I knew the characters and got to about 30% through the book I enjoyed it. I liked Lottie & Cole & love the set up for book 2 (hopefully)

I had a great time with this book. A cute, small town, cowboy romance that’s easy to read with well rounded characters. It’s a slow burn overall but the attraction between our two MCs is instant so the tension is sizzling right from the first meeting. The side characters have plenty of substance and I loved all of them. So excited to get more of Jesse and Hestia, and I’d love a book for Bailey too.
Personally I wasn’t keen on having multiple characters comment on Lottie’s size, specifically how small she is.
Overall, it’s a heartwarming story about returning to your roots, trusting your gut and following your heart. I cannot wait for Hestia’s book!
Thank you Pan Macmillan and NetGalley for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you for accepting my request for this read..
Unfortunately I had to dnf, I was really struggling to get into it, I did last upto around 40% though but I just couldn't get though it.
It's definitely a book for someone but just not for me this time
