A cozy, snowy escape with just enough heat and heart to keep you warm

Snow Bound surprised me in the best way—it starts off like a classic snowed-in romance but slowly builds into something more layered and emotionally satisfying. Hannah Murray gives us two characters who feel real, scarred in believable ways, and watching them find comfort (and a little fire) in each other during a literal and emotional storm was incredibly satisfying.

Pros:
• The setting is perfection—snowy cabin, forced proximity, and all the right tropes to make you want to curl up with a blanket and not move for hours.
• The chemistry is strong but not rushed. There’s a natural warmth and vulnerability that makes the romantic development feel earned.
• Great emotional undercurrent—this isn’t just steam in the snow; both characters have pasts and personal arcs that add real depth.
• The dialogue is witty and grounded, making the banter feel authentic rather than performative.

Cons:
• The beginning moves a bit slowly—if you’re looking for instant sparks, it takes a little time to heat up.
• Some of the side characters feel more like placeholders for future stories (it is book one, after all), but they don’t always add much to this story yet.
• The ending felt just a tiny bit neat—satisfying, but I wouldn’t have minded a few more emotional complications or grit.

Overall, Snow Bound is a warm, romantic, character-driven story that makes great use of its wintery setting without relying too hard on cliché. If you love cozy romance with substance and a little steam, it’s a strong start to a series I’ll definitely keep reading.

Honestly this book completely surprised me. I didn’t really know what to expect when I started reading this other than the fact that it was a snowed-in/forced proximity plot line. Those kinds of stories are my absolute favourite, so I was excited to read this. And it honestly was even better than I could’ve imagined. If I had to describe the vibes of this book, it would be if 50 Shades of Grey took place in a snowed-in cabin!!! So if that’s your cup of tea, you’ll love it.

When Anna’s family bails on her family vacation and Grant doesn’t realize his family cabin has been rented, these two decide to make the most of their two week stays, especially when they have an intense connection and an unexpected link in their past.

Since this was an erotica book, there were lots of spicy scenes, as expected. However, I think they were very well written and well-conceived to fit the storyline and the characters. I think the BDSM topics of the book were extremely well written. There was lots of communication between Anna and Grant and a whole spectrum of kinks that were discussed and covered, which I loved. The scenes were also very hot and Grant and Anna had such great chemistry.

I surprisingly enjoyed the plot of this book as well. I really loved Anna’s best friend and I hope she gets a story, in particular with a certain club owner. I would read that IN A HEARTBEAT!!

Anyways, this was an unexpected surprise in a book and I enjoyed every second. It was an easy and quick read.

Sexy, sexy, sexy. When Anna’s family changes their plans and she finds herself alone in the house she’s rented for two weeks, she resigns herself to lots of time alone. Nothing could have surprised her more than a sexy man appearing at the house late that first night, nothing except finding he’s the sexy Dom she was supposed to play with at the sex club, the one who ghosted her. Two weeks in the same house with nothing to do but play? What could go wrong???

I've been in a book slump and this book completely brought me out of it. It was a good quick read. Lots of smut which is just what I needed. I do wish we found out a little more about Anna's past and how Grant figured out that's where some of her insecurities stemmed from but it didn't take away from the overall book. Loved her bff and hope she gets a book too. Anna was easy to love and a bad ass with a sassy mouth and definitely gave Grant a run for his money. The smut scenes where top notch. Will stay on my reread list when I need a quick good and smutty book.

Sexy, spicy, and sultry! I enjoyed this erotic romance and thought Murray crafted a fun and flirty story. It was easy to get lost in the pages and had me thinking about a snowed-in adventure of my own! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This was a real kinky read that will get you hot under the collar. It includes a lot of graphic rough play and force play so if this is triggering then stay away but I loved it. I loved that even though the woman was. sub she was still a strong kick arse woman who was getting what she wanted as well as the man and as a couple I loved them. A really good racy read.
