Absolutely loved this book, cried laughing! Devoured it in a few hours! Thank you for the opportunity to read this prior to release

Red Flags..
Glasgow dating scene, three friends at the end of their tether and an opportunity to fight back. Cue, a brand new and exclusive website. Funny, frothy and outrageous, this is a very lighthearted contemporary romp with a cast of gregarious characters all done with being taken for a ride and laced with an often sharp edged commentary.

Just finished this one and omg loved it ! Laughed so much I was driving my husband mad reading out bits to him ! Great humour and characters - I love her I need to read more !

The Dicktionary Club feels like the enigmatic and incredibly funny love child of "The Bold Type' and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days". I absolutely loved how this story felt like a snapshot of womanhood as we navigate life in the ever-changing monstrosity of modern-day dating. Great character, great friendships and even greater first-date fails!

This is a hilariously funny comedy, with plenty of spice thrown in! The idea behind The Dicktionary Club was brilliant. This is a funny and charming read. One I definitely recommend, and for fans of the film Girls Trip!!!

The Dicktionary Club by Sophie Gravia ★★★★☆ Fast-paced, cheeky, and full of one-liners that’ll make you snort-laugh, this book is unapologetically bold. It’s got heart under all the sass, and the friendship between the women feels real—messy, loyal, and loud. Gravia doesn’t shy away from the cringe or the chaos, and somehow that makes it all the more relatable.
Some parts felt a bit over the top, but honestly, that’s kind of the point. It’s the kind of read you race through and then text your best friend about afterward, saying “You HAVE to read this.”
Perfect for book clubs that appreciate humor, female solidarity, and a touch of raunch.

Sophie has done it again! Prepare to laugh, cringe, and maybe blush a little - this one's cheeky, bold, and totally unfiltered. add it to your summer tbr NOW!

Thank you for letting me read Chapter 1! I’m now reading the whole novel with my book club and I’m really enjoying it so far.

This is not my usual type of book to read, however I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book.
Sometimes it is good to read a book that makes you laugh out loud and one that is all about "girl power"
The Dicktionary Club is a real feel good book, it is well written and captivates you from the start.
I hope the journey of The Dicktionary club continues one way or another.

- Do you really think he'll call? She asked, also gazing through the window towards Katy. 'Honestly?' I paused biting my bottom lip, thinking of all the men Katy had recently been pumped then dumped by. 'Not a fucking chance.' -
I don't think I've read the C word quite so much in one book, in my life. This is laugh out loud bloody brilliant! ☺️
I really loved this, it was such a light and easy page read. Philip made the book for me, he was so mysterious and I didn't know which way it was going with him and Ella!
Ella's friends were fantastic, Katy made me laugh so much! I loved the humour between them as a group. Between the three they set up "The Dicktionary Club" an online website to help women filter out the idiots of the online dating world.
Read this if you like a bubbly, feel good page turner. Would absolutely recommend for a holiday read 🏖🌴☀️

This reminded me of the TV show The Bold Type but will way less mature main trio of characters and really unrealistic plot line. I was so excited and hyped to read this but it was too slow and too immature for my liking!

This was such a fun read
It definitely had me giggling to myself
I enjoyed the characters and was definitely a feel good girl power read

The Dicktionary Club is a very funny, on-the-nose romantic comedy following three women all at different stages in their romantic lives.
I loved all three of the main female characters and I thought they worked really well together creating quite the dynamic trio.
Having recently been on the dating scene I could completely relate to the whole tinder dates (although I consider myself very lucky not to have had any like those in the book haha). Happily I’m now very much off the marker!
This is my first book by this author and it certainly won’t be my last.

The Dicktionary Club is a sharp, sassy dive into the messiness of modern dating. Sophie Gravia delivers a punchy, hilarious story about three Glasgow women who are completely over the dating disasters that keep landing in their DMs. Their solution? A revenge-fuelled website that calls out the worst of Scotland’s serial daters. It’s petty, it’s clever, and it’s wildly fun. The humor is loud and unapologetic, full of laugh-out-loud moments that anyone who’s ever been ghosted or matched with a walking red flag will appreciate. But what really carries the book is the chemistry between the friends—it’s that familiar, chaotic group chat energy in novel form. It’s definitely on the raunchy side, so expect some heat along with the humour. But behind the jokes and scandal, there’s a real celebration of friendship and self-worth.

I love books set in Scotland, especially Glasgow as it's my home town, so I was eager to read this one.
I loved the relationship between Ella, Katy and Zola. Their friendship is one I wish I had when I was younger. The wit, banter and one liners between them was priceless and gave me lots of belly laughs.
Although I thought the girls were great, there was some aspects of their personalities that I didn't like. Katy came across as too needy and Ella too picky, but there are many people like that.
I thought the idea of The Dicktionary Club was quirky but did think there was potential for this to go wrong. Although this is the name of the book, there is a lot more going on alongside the set up of the Club, with some additional interesting characters and developments.
If you don't mind spice and lots of sweary language, this is a laugh out loud romantic comedy. I found this to be a quick read, which would be perfect for holiday time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this quick, witty, funny romcom that was just what I needed. The banter and the language used were really familiar and relatable. I loved the use of the C word. It's a word a lot of folks dont like, but where I'm from, it can be used as an insult or a term of endearment 🤣
I loved the women's friendship and the pretty accurate minefield of the modern dating world. I don't think I could be bothered with dealing with it all 🤣
It will be fun to see what happens next for them!

The Dicktionary Club by @sophie.gravia_author 😏
Firstly a massive thank you to @lovebookstours for having me on this blog tour! It defo has been enjoyable to say the least!
Review: what can I say!!! I absolutely loved this book!! It was full of emotions, humour, betrayal, sadness, truth, happiness, plenty of “awww moments” and heavily sensual indeed! 😂
I absolutely love Ella, Zola And Katy! They were too funny! Each character brought their own spice to the mix of the story, which really complemented each other throughout! Looks like Philip and Curtis ended up being the green flags in the end!!
The whole concept of the Dicktionary club was too funny!!! So true and relatable indeed!
Overall the short chapters made the whole book so enjoyable, as they were short and snappy and really kept me enticed to keep reading!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What started off with a good, somewhat amusing premise, soon spiraled into something depraved, smutty, pornographic and downright cheap and trashy.
DNF - maybe it redeemed itself in the end, but quite honestly, I just couldn't get past about 60%. It had just deteriorated too much by that point for me to persevere.
Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC.

Imagine how different Sex and the City might have been if online dating were the focus and the girls were simply out for revenge on men - oh and it was set in Glasgow.
Well, now you dont have to, because Sophie Grava has brought it to life in The Dicktionary Club! A serious laugh out loud comedy where 3 best friends set up a website where you can rate your date!
Ella had her heartbroken by her longterm boyfriend when they realised they weren't compatible - he wanted kids and she doesn't. 3 years later, and she's completely sworn off men entirely, choosing to focus on her marketing career. When best friend Katy is ghosted by yet another man after sleeping together, Ella and other best friend Zola decide to set up a website which let's the women of Glasgow review their dates so they know what to expect.
Katy had me cackling all the way through the book - the poor girl was so jaded and fell in love with every guy she met. She ran towards red flags like it was an olympic sport and was always so surprised when they were terrible people.
Zola is engaged, but things are a bit rocky. She takes over Ella's dating profile and ends up becoming a bit too much involved which leads her down a road of trouble.
Ella is just trying to work. The poor woman has no interest in dating, is suspicious of all men, and can't seem to shake the attention of serial bachelor, Philip Khan.
There's giant dildos, a serious case of thrush, a tonne of steamy content and lots of banter.
As much as I enjoyed this book, I do think its appeal will only hit a certain demographic. If you're a fan of the casual c-bomb, are looking to hate on men, and fancy a cheeky, tongue in cheek romance, then this is absolutely for you.
Thank you to the author and @lovebookstours for a copy of the book in exchange for a review 💗

Looking for a book to raise a few eyebrows? A book that definitely wouldn't be a part of your Grandma's bookclub? Then this could be the book for you, especially for fans of The Bold Type (TV).
Part raunchy romp, part social commentary and all parts hilarious, this packs a punch! What's so good is the way it manages to be incredibly funny and light without sacrificing depth and storyline. You'll find yourself laughing at the audacious antics of the three women, but then a moment later, you will feel their sadness or pain. All of the characters are funny in their own ways whilst dismantling patriarchal norms.
Just the title alone is enough to entice anyone, right?! It definitely fits the tone of a book that is boldly rude and embraces taboo. If you are looking for something fresh, mischievous, and maybe even a little raunchy, all with a purpose, then you have to read The Dicktionary Club! 🍆
