What starts as a second chance at love slowly unravels into something darker, creepier… and completely unexpected.

Anna, a grieving widow is just trying to hold it together for her daughter after the tragic loss of her husband. When Parker enters her life—a charming professor who seems like the perfect man—things move fast. Too fast. And soon, nothing feels right.

At first, I wasn’t totally hooked—it’s a slow burn—but the tension builds in such a subtle way that I didn’t realize how invested I was until I couldn’t stop reading and I loved the dual timelines and therapy note format

My first read by Anya Mora, but definitely not my last.

I would like to thank Bookouture & NetGalley for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest and fair review

This was quite a read! The main character, Anna, is a very unreliable narrator which makes this quite the whirlwind of a read. While this book was a bit predictable with the outcome, I will say how the author ultimately pieces everything together is not. While I knew the classic storyline, I didn’t expect exactly how it would unfold which made this an enjoyable thriller for me!

This was a fun, quick read!

Anna, whose life has been nothing but tragic, has met a secure and loving man who is willing to risk it all to be with her. Unfortunately, her past comes back to haunt her in big ways.

I absolutely hated how Anna was treated throughout the story and couldn’t figure out why she wouldn’t just get rid of the toxic people in her life, but it all makes sense in the end.

Some of the plot seemed a little too convenient and the characters weren’t completely fleshed out, but I enjoyed the story and wanted to know more with every turn of the page.

I was REALLY hoping for a twist at the end (especially because it seemed a little too nice and happy) but that’s OK. I don’t always get what I want. 😊

3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

I will share my review on Instagram June 25 because it is a Books on Tour review.

This was such a solid, gripping domestic thriller! I really enjoyed the set up and watching the story unfold through the dual timeline.

Some parts of this book did feel slow and almost like there wasn’t much happening, but for the most part this was very gripping and definitely made me question every character.

I did not see that ending coming. Parker had massive red flags throughout, but I didn't suspect what actually happened - I just though he was a controlling abuser. I was happy for everyone becaus ethey all go the ending they deserved, except for poor Theo :(

Love You to Death is a fast-paced and gripping psychological thriller that hooked me from the very first line. Anya Mora creates an atmosphere thick with tension and emotional depth, keeping the suspense high throughout.

This is a dark, twisty read that kept me guessing the entire time. Just when I thought I had it figured out, the story took another unexpected turn some moments truly took me by surprise. The pacing is tight, the characters are compelling, and the plot unfolds in a way that makes it nearly impossible to put down.

I finished this in just two days and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I’ll definitely be reading more from Anya Mora in the future. Highly recommended for fans of domestic thrillers and psychological suspense.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book I can’t wait to recommend it to everyone.

who should we feel for here. Anna and her new man Parker. just Parker because Anna is making me question her somewhat? her daughter even if she is making strange things happen? i was so full of questions and wondering just who to believe and what could be the story here. there were strands from the old marriage. but with these new disturbances happening i was also even question just where the dead husband was/is/died.
haha but i love having all those conundrums and it was done in all the best ways. i was told the points of views and i was kept at pace all the way through so that as i learnt and felt i gained answers it only provided me more delicious things to ponder and suspect.
this was a brilliant book. and Anya has a way of creating such a fantastic story lines. they are dramatic but with the moments in between that help you sit, think and react to what nibbles we are given. or not given. you seeeeee! she does this too me every time i read her books.
i doubt this book makes much sense as im all over the place trying to describe just how this books makes me giddy with character driven fab thrillers. so if youve got through this and still arent sure. just know you need to read her book and read her others.you will not regret it.

This is a fast-paced book about Anna, whose husband died recently after an accidental fall in the mountains. Just a few months later she meets Parker, who seems to be the perfect man. Except nothing is as it seems. Items that belonged to Anna’s husband appear around the house. Who put them there? Who is trying to undermine her relationship with Parker? This is a very twisty tale, with an unreliable narrator and plenty of dubious characters. I found it a little hard to believe that Anna would agree to marry someone else so soon after her husband’s demise, but other than that this was a great book with some unusual plot twists. A quick, fun read.

Thank you to Anya Mora, Bookouture and Netgalley for my advance copy.

Great suspense. Several POVs and readers must guess who is the therapist, who is the wife, and who is behind all the magically appearing objects. The protagonist caused some of her own drama... totally get losing a child caused her to spin out, but then the affair and a quick new marriage after her husband's death. Wow! But I liked her a lot. I thought some of the time periods felt a little off, or at least when readers found out who knew what, some trickery involved. But still a great read.

“Love You To Death” by Anya Mora delivers fast-paced, gripping storytelling that kept me turning the pages late into the night. I thoroughly enjoyed the tension and pacing throughout. However, the twist, while unexpected, felt underwhelming and lacked the punch I was hoping for. Still an engaging, quick read.

"How well do you really know him?"

The story follows Anna as she tries to rebuild her life after losing her husband, Theo. At first, it seems like a sweet second chance at romance, but things quickly get strange

The story switches between Anna's life before and after Theo's death, with therapy notes sprinkled in from an unknown character.

The book is full of twists and turns with an amazing pace. The ending wraps everything up nicely., I predicted the ending about 70% thru but there were still plenty of shocks. If you love thrillers that grab you from the start, I recommend this one.

Yikes! I did not see that coming.

What starts as a fairytale quickly spirals into a nightmare in this twisty, suspenseful read. The story follows Anna, a woman still grieving the recent death of her husband in what was deemed an “accident.”

When she meets Parker, a charming psychology professor, just six months later, things move quickly. A bit too quickly. Their relationship leads to a spontaneous engagement after only six weeks. And then, the strange things begin: the scent of Theo’s cologne clinging to Parker, old photos mysteriously altered, and growing feeling of paranoia that someone is warning her.

Told from Anna’s point of view, the narrative alternates between the present and the months leading up to her husband’s death, cleverly interspersed with therapy session notes.

I loved how intentional the author was about creating suspense with the closing sentences of each chapter, and the references to the mysterious secret in the attic, adding an extra layer of tension to the plot.

Now, I have to say that the beginning was a bit too slow for me. I wasn’t sure where it was going at first, and it took some time to settle into the story. But once it picked up,it was so good. In hindsight, that slow start actually helped build the tension. It just didn’t feel that way in the moment.

And that ending? It packed all the punches. Creepy, twisted, and full of surprises. This was my first read by Anya Mora, and I’m definitely going to be reading more of her work soon.

I read this book in less than 24hours as I could not put it down. I asked mysely so many questions whilst I was rearing this including who is putting Theo's items around the house? There are so many characters it could've been and thats what made this fantastic. I questioned every character in the book at different points and what motives they could be.

The short chapters enabled me to read and devour this book. I enjoyed how it went from multiple time lines aa this made it so much more intriguing to find out the back story too.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It is the first time I have read a book by this author and it won't be the last. I would recommend this book.

Thank you to Netgalley and the author for this ARC.

Love you to Death was a fast paced and catchy read! Every chapter had me thinking about whet was happening, who was involved. Some things seemed predictable as the story moved on but others still threw me for a loop! I really enjoyed Anya’s writing style.

Another gripping psychological thriller by Anya Mora!! I was immersed in this captivating story from the very first sentence until the satisfying culmination. I was flipping pages faster than I could read. Love You to Death was a psychological thriller about a woman whose husband died suddenly in a hiking accident, but she had a suspicion that his death wasn't an accident at all.

I love Anya Mora’s writing style. It is fast paced and free flowing with authentic dialogue and relatable characters. As in all of the novels I’ve read of hers, the characters in Love You To Death were remarkably flawed and terribly unreliable. There was no one point in the story that I could ascertain who was the guilty one. As a result, I was constantly guessing throughout. In addition to the fallacious characters, I loved how Mora delivered a little bit of everything in this thriller-from love to fear and grief to betrayal.

Altogether, there were a lot of scattered puzzle pieces, but Mora strategically placed each piece at the most precise time, which ultimately led to the most satisfyingly culmination. There is no question that Anya Mora has quickly become one of my favorite psychological mystery-thriller authors!

Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

I literally could not put this book down and finished it in less than 24 hours! Who is putting Theo's items around the house - the main character (Anna), her fiancé (Parker), his sister, her previous in-laws, her young daughter, or her BFF?

I found this book to be a page turner with you constantly questioning the characters and what their true motives might be. I really enjoyed the very short chapters that jumped between past and present, as I find that makes a book much more enthralling. My only complaint was that the final big twist was somewhat predictable and similar to another very popular book I've read in the past.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend you pick it up when it comes available!

After Anna’s husband died, she thought she would never find love, but did. Is he the real thing?

One of my favorite authors – I devoured this book in a few hours – I literally could not put it down. I had to see where the plot went, and it did not disappoint. Loved all the characters and their development. The end had a wonderful twist that I did not expect – loved it!
