A little daughter's birthday, a murder and the unraveling of secrets and alibis. This is quite a page turner and held my interest to the last page!

Well written with good character development. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a fast paced novel to read.

Told from multiple points of view the pace is fast but at times the storytelling becomes confusing. A blackout/memory loss and a dead body are always going to be great fodder for the armchair detective adn this does not disappoint.

This chilling thriller transforms the seemingly idyllic backdrop of a perfect birthday party into a nightmarish descent into secrets and suspicion. The author expertly builds tension as the discovery of a dead body shatters the veneer of a flawless suburban life, unraveling the fragile trust between characters. Tyler’s mysterious blackout and Detective Rynn’s relentless pursuit create a gripping cat-and-mouse dynamic that keeps readers on edge. With its sharp exploration of hidden darkness lurking beneath polished surfaces, this novel is a powerful reminder that sometimes the greatest dangers come from within—and protecting those we love can demand unimaginable sacrifices.

This is a tense and fast-paced psychological thriller that begins with a shocking discovery at a birthday party. The book expertly exposes a web of secrets and lies, with multiple viewpoints and a major twist at the end. It's a suspenseful, binge-worthy read perfect for fans of domestic thrillers.

This debut started off strong—an intriguing premise with a lavish home, a birthday party, and a dead body. The multiple POVs were engaging at first, but quickly became confusing and a little hard to follow. Some parts felt far-fetched, even for fiction, and the cast of unlikable characters made it tough to connect (though that may have been intentional since anyone could have been guilty).
The detective/partner romance subplot felt unnecessary and didn’t add much to the story. That said, the twist was excellent and totally caught me off guard, which boosted my enjoyment.
Overall, an interesting read from a debut author with lots of potential.

What a ride! The whole “how well do you really know your partner?” theme was done really well here. It made me think of those real-life stories you hear and can’t believe are true. The suspense was strong, just a little more depth into the husband’s backstory to fully sell the shock factor would have been good. Overall, though, it’s a quick, twisty read

This book is a fast-paced psychological thriller brimming with tension and secrets. The characters are intriguing and unpredictable, keeping you second-guessing their true motives. The setting makes the shocking twists even more twisty.

That family is one hot mess! I was intrigued by the beginning with the dead body at the party and the way everyone acted so suspiciously but I had a hard time connecting with any of the characters as they were all so narcissistic and had completely toxic relationships with each other (definitely psychological but also bordering on physical abuse) that the story lost most of its allure. I did finish it because I wanted to see how it all unraveled and who would get the blame but parts were so not believable, especially with Sadie and the car and how the police went about doing their investigation into the murder.
This could have been really great but it was really disjointed with tangents that did not make sense, people dead but not, and some character's past that went a bit of kilter in trying to relate to the current dead body, and why he ended up dead. I would say stay away from the Johnsons!

Who Did I Marry? is a slow burning domestic thriller and a whodunnit murder case. Told from a multi, 1st person POV, this narrative starts out strong with a body found outside our main characters house. Fingers are pointed but who did it?
I really wanted to like this one and judging by the True Crime Tag, I can only assume that our author loosely based the story on an actual murder case. I feel this book sways more on the character building side but the plot direction is clear. Everyone is a suspect, everyone has a past and grudges to bare. I did find that somewhere around 50/60 % of the book, it either lagged or lost its way for a bit and I found I disengaged somewhat. Usually with these kinds of books, the pace gathers, the tension builds to the end. I did have a feeling around the finale but found it a little. underwhelming for me. Im still going to seek out more of Sara's books.
I also listened to the audio version while on the go and found Kelly Burke a pleasure to listen to.

WHAT A THRILLER my goodness. This had me locked in the ENTIRE time! I didn’t guess the twist. It was so fun and I highly recommend!!!!

While I can honestly say I enjoyed this read, I cannot say that it is a top favorite of mine. I would have preferred a different ending, but won't necessarily complain about the one I got. I was just on the struggle bus throughout this book, and think it more so has everything to do with me and not so much the book itself.
I am thankful to have gotten the chance to read this, and I believe this author will go far!!

I liked this book, but I couldn't say I loved it. I struggled with the ending. I felt it was just too abrupt. It was a bit far-fetched in places, and I also did not connect with the characters.

Who Did I Marry? by Sara Puccini is a psychological thriller that starts off on a promising note with its intriguing premise and eye catching cover.
While I appreciated the author's attempt to craft a suspenseful narrative, I unfortunately found it hard to fully connect with the book.
Some of the storylines felt a bit disjointed, which made it challenging for me to become fully invested in the characters and their journeys.
Despite this, the book remained an easy and quick read, making it a decent choice for fans of the genre.
Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

New Review - Who Did I Marry? by Sara Pucci
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
"The people closest to us hurt us the most." Who Did I Marry? is a psychological thriller based in New York. It centres around the Johnson family. Charlie is celebrating her 14th birthday at the family home when a dead body is discovered at the front of the house. Charlie's dad Tyler denies knowing anything about it. Her mum will do anything to protect her.
The book is fast-paced and has good twists and turns. The only reason I've marked it down slightly is because I personally struggled to like any of the characters, and the story felt slightly disjointed in places. I would say it's worth a read, especially if you enjoy a well thought through psychological thriller.
Thanks to @netgalley and @stormbooks_co for letting me read.

Such a great mystery read. It reminds me of a lifetime movie network movie, in the best way. I rave about this book to all of my older friends. Who love a good mystery with marriage at the forefront.

I really enjoyed this one. I flew through the pages and it kept me entertained until the end. I loved that it was told in multiple POV getting different perspectives from each character.

This book just didn’t do it for me. I felt all the characters were not likable, and at times I found it to be confusing with the rotating POV’s.

Let's just say...that this had great potential but fell short on the delivery. It was decent but was lacking in what I would call true suspense as I was able to catch the twist long before it occurred. Also the POV from multiple perspectives got to be a bit confusing at times, a couple of the "side stories" could have been left out and it probably would have been just fine.
On the plus said, there was a lot of drama, like everyone has a toxic trait that adds to the story line. Yet at times it was a little overdone or dragged out to long. The premise for the book is good, just needs some overall cleaning before final release.

I had high hopes when I started this book, and it did not disappoint. This book had me in it's grip and I was questioning everything & everyone. I'm not lying when I say I had to sit and stare at my screen for a good while after I finished reading the book. Every PoV had me questioning everything, and every character seemed either guilty or a red herring. I truly felt like I couldn't trust any of the characters, even the Detective, and that was a plus-point for me. In a book with a Whodunnit theme, everyone is a suspect and "Who Did I Marry?" plays into that trope beautifully.
Everyone of them had secrets, and I was gasping and clutching at my invisible string of pearls at each twist and turn in the story. And the epilogue? I need a sequel just to know what happens next.
