It was a good book loved it and loved how it kept me interested in it the whole time will be recommending it to everyone

V.H. Nicolson's 'Owen' brings a gripping runaway groom romance, belonging to The Billionaire Boys series. Owen, saddled with an arranged marriage for his family empire, bolts down the aisle, chasing freedom from a life not of his choice. He lands in another country, finding himself unexpectedly face to face with Jade, a self-sufficient single mother who happens to be a pilot.
Their "strangers-to-lovers" romance is packed with undeniable chemistry and a welcome dynamic in which Owen, having come from a billionaire upbringing, finds himself homeless and unemployed. Jade, and her daughter Poppy, assist Owen in taking down the walls he's created, introducing him to a life that lies beyond expectation. The book has both steamy moments and an emotional depth that delves into themes of self-discovery, found family, and the bravery to live one's truth. 'Owen' is an emotional read for anyone who loves redemption tales and heroes that discover how to embrace weakness.

I adore the single parent trope!!
Owen and Jade having such a strong connection from the start was fantastic and his scenes with Poppy from the start honestly had me reading this so quickly!!

{ You slay me, Jade.” He struggled to catch his breath. “I think you've come into my life for a reason.”
His words render me speechless. He leaps into the pool unexpectedly and pulls me hard against him, surrounding me in his fortress of a body, embracing me as if he never wants to let me go.
“You're beautiful inside and out.”
His voice is thick with emotion as he squeezes me tighter. “I don't want tonight to end.”
“The guys will be home soon,” I murmur against his solid chest. “We have to go inside before they catch us. I have an early start in the morning.”
“Stay just a little longer.” }
In this story we follow Owen on his turbulent ride throughout a terrible ordeal in his life, beginning with - his wedding, to a person who didn't want to marry him.. and he didn't want to marry her. This is where we START and I loved it. There was drama from the first page! And unfortunately for our sweet Owen, it didn't get any easier.
When Jade enters his life she is the confident, authoritative, powerhouse, who is a single mama, and holding down a career that no other woman has done before. Is there anything this beautiful redhead could teach Owen? About life, love, and the mystery of what is out there in the world? Guiding, possibly hatching unseen plans for us.
And the spice 😍😍😍 was amazing!
I love this book, it was humorous and fast-paced from the start. Owen was an easy character to like and once you get pulled into his story, a fierce protective force erupts and you want to hold your hand out to anyone who wants to get near him just in case.
As Jade became a part of the story, it was easy to be excited by her and the way she saw Owen like no one else ever did was beautiful. It touched upon a few tough subjects that are not easy to broach, especially in written words but this author is so talented, in the way she pulls emotions out and twists, and turns them into fine art pieces.
I got so involved with this story that I didn't eat for a whole day! I could not stop reading. It was amazing and I couldn't have been happier in the end. I just hope we get a second book. I need to find out what happened next with my hotshot couple. Please?!
A huge thank you to VH Nicolson, Boldwood Books, and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and relay my honest feedback. ::|

Full of lots of hot sex but with a good storyline behind it. Loved the main characters and the relationship between them. Would highly recommend this book.

Thank you to VH Nicolson, Boldwood Books, and Netgalley for the ARC.
I enjoyed the story! The characters were great. I found them very beautifully portrayed with emotions. The spice level is quite high. First book I have read by this author, but won't be the last.

Thank you NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Owen is the final book in theThe Boys of Castleview Cove series. The story follows Owen, a former military man and runaway groom, as he unexpectedly finds solace and love with Jade, an older single mother and aerobatic pilot. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the emotional moments—especially those involving Jade’s daughter, Poppy—add warmth and depth. While the book offers a satisfying redemption arc for Owen, it leans on familiar romance tropes and lacks the narrative tension found in earlier installments. New readers might find it harder to connect without the background provided in Lincoln and Jacob, but long-time fans will appreciate this tender, slightly predictable ending! Overall good conclusion!

Owen is the third book in The Billionaire Boys series, but each can easily be read as a standalone. I loved the chemistry between them and how they were together, it’s a great quick read

If you’ve ever thought, “Man, I wish a sweet, emotionally wrecked but hot runaway groom would crash into my life and instantly love me and my kid,” then congratulations—“Owen” by VH Nicolson was custom-ordered for your delusions and it delivers. This book is what you get when you toss insta-love, military moms, controlling families, and an adorably precocious child into a blender and sprinkle in some unexpected emotional depth. Add a dash of spicy tension and boom—your overnight reading obsession is born.
Let’s talk Owen. The man is running (literally) from a life of luxury and manipulation straight into the arms of a strong, older, capable woman with a daughter who could charm a rock. And honestly? He’s deliciously soft yet determined, like a cinnamon roll that hits the gym. Is he a little too perfect? Maybe. Do we care? Absolutely not.
Jade, our badass pilot heroine and single mom, doesn’t need saving—but she sure deserves someone who shows up. And Owen? Shows up. With open arms and bonus father-figure energy. Poppy, the child, is the ultimate scene-stealer and mini-matchmaker rolled into one. Cute kid trope? Executed to dangerously high levels of reader attachment.
It’s giving “Hallmark but make it sexy,” with actual stakes and an emotional gut punch or two. The twist of a runaway groom (not bride) is refreshing and, frankly, overdue. Ladies have been running in white dresses for decades—it’s time the men took a turn.
Triggers: controlling/toxic family dynamics, emotionally manipulative parents, arranged marriage pressure, estrangement
Spice Level: 🍑🍑 (Soft burn with emotional intimacy and some steam—enough to warm your toes but not fog your glasses.)
Rating: 4.5 runaway grooms out of 5
Final thought? Owen may have been the one fleeing, but you’ll be the one emotionally wrecked and hopelessly in love by chapter five.

I haven't read the previous books in this series, but I don't think it mattered. In many ways, this story is a bit of a reversal of what we often get in romances. Owen is running away from the expectations of his family. He meets an older woman, Jade, who has a daughter, Poppy. Jade is also an aerobatics pilot with the RAF. (The Red Arrows, but I'm assuming that they can't be mentioned by name.) She's the first ever female to have done this (in reality, there has only been one female pilot so far).
I really liked Owen and Jade as a couple, and I loved Owen's relationship with Poppy even more; he's great with her. I also liked the slight twist of an older and sorted (career-wise at least) woman with a slightly younger and still finding his way man. They made a good match.
I did think that some of the issues that they faced were dealt with a little too quickly. It was nice that there wasn't some kind of misunderstanding or breakdown of the relationship, as usually happens two-thirds to three-quarters of the way through this kind of book. It made a refreshing change.
My only slight issue with this book is that it's British characters, a British Author but full of Americanisms and language (diaper, Mom, etc., etc.) I actually thought to begin with that somehow an American woman was flying for the RAF somehow. I assume that this was down to the publisher. It was a shame.
Overall, this was a great read and one I really enjoyed.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.

After meeting Owen in the previous books and the way he treated Skye, this book was a marvelous journey that Ow en undertakes to become someone who is pretty darn amazing. I loved the interactions between his Hotshot and little Poppy. The were sweet and I was in love when he took Poppy high above his head in an airplane. The sexy scenes were just hot. Jade teaching Owen was just steamy!!
Great book maybe the best in the series.

Owen is the third book in The Billionaire Boys series, they can easily be read as a standalone. I absolutely loved this book, I wasn’t sure I would as I wasn’t overly keen of Owen from the first two books.
I felt so bad for Owen and the situation he was in. I totally agreed with his decision to run from an arranged marriage. Away from everyone in another country he meets Jade. She was such a badass, strong woman. She knew exactly what she wanted! Oh and Owen and Poppy melted my heart, so cute.
I flew through this book I couldn’t put it down. I was captivated by Owen and Jade’s story. I loved the storyline and the setting. If I’m honest I was gutted when it ended I need more from these two!
Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources for having me on the tour and to the publisher for my gifted ebook.

Owen is the final book in the Billionaire Boys Series, which has been re-released. The rest of the series can be read as standalones. There is a reverse age gap: Owen is 31, and Jade (FMC) is 39. Owen is a single parent, billionaire, and military romance.
The runaway bride trope works differently in the story, in which Owen is the groom, and he reluctantly agrees to an arranged marriage but escapes at the last minute on his wedding day. From there, readers see Owen’s challenges with his toxic relationship with his parents, especially with the horrible emotional abuse from his mother, and how that impacts any involvement with women in his life.
When he meets Jade, a military pilot, a mom to a one-year-old, and described as an “introverted extrovert,” he immediately falls first and falls hard.
A psychoanalyst would have a heyday with Owen, but I won’t go there. VH Nicolson did a great job developing Owen’s character, demonstrating his lack of experience with positive female relationships. How attached he became to Jade’s built-in family, as well as some immature decisions and actions he made. It was good to see the emotional progression to the end. I loved the steamy, teachable moments between Jade and Owen. VH Nicolson’s ability to write detailed spicy scenes does not fall short in “Owen.” Readers will not be disappointed.

This was such a good book to read. I absolutely loved the love at first sight and how they were together. And how Owen was with Jade's daughter Poppy was absolutely adorable. There was also some suspense with Owen's family and also someone Jade worked with that made it into a story that I couldn't put down. It absolutely broke my heart how Owen's parents made him feel bad about himself and how low his self-esteem was before meeting Jade. But Jade being the loving daredevil made everything right in the world. And the nicknames in this book for Poppy but also Hotshot for Jade was just so cute!
From the first moment I was rooting for them and their lovely found family.
Sad this was the last book of the Castleview Cove characters

My First Runaway Groom!!
So very well done! He is trying to meet family expectations, but his parents dislike each other, his sister dislikes her husband and family, and his fiance can’t be bothered with him as he tries to get to know her. At the last minute, he can’t do it. He disappears to Cyprus where his cousin Gregor is an aerobatic pilot in the Royal Air Force.
Gregor’s boss is squadron leader Jade Sommers. She found out she was expecting after her divorce, and her ex wants nothing to do with their daughter Poppy. He is unemployed and disinherited, but pitches in when Jade’s mom is feeling ill, and cares for both her and Poppy.
Exciting on many levels; the relationship, the family, the job, the danger from known and unknown sources. A delightful read, I’m really enjoying this author’s work!

Interestingly I thought this book was going to be a basic romance book (absolutely nothing wrong with that !!) But it turned out to be quite an adventure 🚁.
Owen finally makes a decision to live for himself, rather than following the path his family have set out for him. Honestly I found it refreshing seeing a MMC that is a bit more sensitive and kind! A massive green flag from start to finish 😍! And Jude was just perfect as the FMC- intelligent and confident 🤌🏽!
Beautiful story that has a realistic depiction of the complications of families and friendships

After reading Jacob, I wasn't sure about Owen.
He seemed like a bit of an asshole and I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book at all. I enjoyed the spice and her daughter was by far the best character.
We saw such a tender side to both MCs that I wasn't expecting, the spice was still great and I enjoyed this book a lot more than I was expecting.

Absolutely LOVED this book! Owen and Jade completely stole my heart—but Poppy, Jade’s daughter, was the unexpected scene-stealer. V.H. Nicolson delivers another swoon-worthy, emotional rollercoaster, packed with small-town charm, sizzling chemistry, and the heartfelt moments that make the Castleview Cove series so special.
Owen is the perfect broody, broken hero, and watching him slowly open up will absolutely melt you. Jade is a total badass—strong, independent, and the perfect match to challenge and ground Owen. Their dynamic is EVERYTHING. The slow-burn tension, the emotional growth, the spice—it’s all done so well. And Poppy? Pure joy. Watching Owen’s bond grow not just with Jade but with Poppy too was beautiful and heartwarming.
Castleview Cove once again feels like home, with familiar faces and cozy vibes that make you never want to leave. The writing is sharp, romantic, and full of genuine emotion. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough!
This might just be my favorite in the series. V.H. Nicolson knocked it out of the park. If you're into heartfelt romance with depth, spice, and found-family feels—Owen is a must-read.

The perfect ending to this series and my favourite fmc in the trilogy too.
This author knows how to write a strong woman trying to have it all. Working in a male dominated high pressure career, and a single mum to boot, she meets runaway groom Owen due to him staying at her colleague's villa where they are currently training.
Great plot, characters with chemistry, spice and romance 🌶️❤️ , the return of characters from previous books and a sleazy baddy to boo at. What more could you possibly want!

Owen is a runaway groom set to marry a woman he didn't love and who didn't love him. When he lands in Cyprus to escape the fury of not only his family but hers, Owen is just looking unwind and come to terms with his decision. What he wasn't looking for was a hot military commander and her cute-as-a-button daughter. Sparks fly as Owen's world crashes down around him.
I loved Owen and Jade's story. The author delves into so many things with this book. A billionaire with a pathetic family life, one that forces him to be something and someone he's not. A independent, female, military squadron leader, her baby, and the baby's absent father. A meet-cute that dissolves the ice around Owen's heart and brings out the man he's always been meant to be; one that's been trying to be a better man, less selfish, and more interested in others.
Owen and Jade are fantastic characters. When I read about him in Jacob, the second book in the series, I was clear in my review of that story that I did not like Owen. His inability to take no for answer was a huge turnoff. He was egotistical and very much all about Owen and no one else. I also knew that his story was going to be good - and I was right.
I was drawn into this story 100%. The characters are dynamic and three dimensional. They have feelings, emotions, imperfections, and realistic qualities. Owen is definitely an instalove story and I was down with the love-at-first-sight vibe. The author delivered a compelling romance filled with ups and downs, imperfect characters, and a love that became everything.
