The perfect ending to this series and my favourite fmc in the trilogy too.
This author knows how to write a strong woman trying to have it all. Working in a male dominated high pressure career, and a single mum to boot, she meets runaway groom Owen due to him staying at her colleague's villa where they are currently training.
Great plot, characters with chemistry, spice and romance 🌶️❤️ , the return of characters from previous books and a sleazy baddy to boo at. What more could you possibly want!

Owen is a runaway groom set to marry a woman he didn't love and who didn't love him. When he lands in Cyprus to escape the fury of not only his family but hers, Owen is just looking unwind and come to terms with his decision. What he wasn't looking for was a hot military commander and her cute-as-a-button daughter. Sparks fly as Owen's world crashes down around him.
I loved Owen and Jade's story. The author delves into so many things with this book. A billionaire with a pathetic family life, one that forces him to be something and someone he's not. A independent, female, military squadron leader, her baby, and the baby's absent father. A meet-cute that dissolves the ice around Owen's heart and brings out the man he's always been meant to be; one that's been trying to be a better man, less selfish, and more interested in others.
Owen and Jade are fantastic characters. When I read about him in Jacob, the second book in the series, I was clear in my review of that story that I did not like Owen. His inability to take no for answer was a huge turnoff. He was egotistical and very much all about Owen and no one else. I also knew that his story was going to be good - and I was right.
I was drawn into this story 100%. The characters are dynamic and three dimensional. They have feelings, emotions, imperfections, and realistic qualities. Owen is definitely an instalove story and I was down with the love-at-first-sight vibe. The author delivered a compelling romance filled with ups and downs, imperfect characters, and a love that became everything.

This book has amazing character buildup!
It’s part of a 3-book series, and I’ve read the second one—“Jacob.” In that book, Owen seemed aloof, carefree, stubborn, careless, and emotionally distant.
But man, this book completely changed my opinion. His character is written so wonderfully—it blew me away.
I thought the previous book was nice, but Owen stole the show in this one.
His dilemma about the arranged marriage his family set up, Evangeline, and how his friends helped him realize it's okay to think for himself instead of staying in a suffocating relationship—brilliantly done.
He cancels the marriage, moves to Cyprus, and meets Jade. Damn, the instant connection and the chemistry they shared!
He was so sweet with Poppy, so domesticated—like he was always meant to be that way.
His strained relationship with his parents, and everything else going on, just made this book a wow for me. I loved it.
The supporting characters were great, too—everyone just showing up for him in all the right ways.
Read it!!
I can’t say this lightly—this series needs to be picked up by everyone.

First of all thank you for approving my request!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.
I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

VH Nicholson is a new-to-me author. The premise of the book was intriguing so I gave it a shot.
Jade and Owen definitely have their moments. Owen seems like a bit of a sissy, despite being described as handsome and muscular. I wasn’t very impressed with him at first. But, he grew into his role as Jade’s lover and Poppy’s manny. He was still a bit of a contradiction in some of his actions. Jade is as strong as they come. I really loved her ease in falling into life with Owen. She very level-headed.
There were lots of tantalizing moments between Jade and Owen but also plenty of intensity and suspense.
4 stars.

I was born into privilege. I had it all; the house, the car, more money than I knew what to do with. But it came at a price. Duty. An arranged marriage for the sake of the family empire to a woman who couldn’t bear to look at me. As I stood at the altar, the weight of that burden became too much. So, I did the only thing I could. I ran.
To another country and unintentionally straight into the arms of another woman. Jade is strong, independent, and a single mom. And brick by broken brick she dismantles the wall I’ve built up around my heart. But where once I had everything, now I have nothing. No home, no job and no idea what the future holds. All I do know is, Jade makes me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before.
But there is always the risk my past could catch up with me. Because the weight of my family’s expectation is likely to cause me to crash land and send my world up in flames

After meeting Owen in Jacob, I was looking forward to watching him grow and come into his own. His story was everything I wanted to see from people pleasing to his own detriment to standing up for himself and his need by the end, his development had me in tears. Not only is Jade is perfect counterpart, but her daughter completes them as a couple in a way that’s hard to describe. Jade is a strong woman who knows her worth and isn’t afraid to ask for it and teach Owen along the way.

I was immediately hooked at the beginning of this book. The reverse escaping arrange marriage had me frothing at the mouth.... until it didn't.
I enjoyed the writing style, but I honestly wanted to shake Owen at times. I understand his backstory has turned him into the man he is, but oh lord.
I did enjoy the spice though so that saved it.

Owen is the third book in the Billionaire Boys series and the one I liked most. It's best to read the previous two books to understand the characters and their dynamic, although Owen's romantic tale is complete in this book. Owen's upbringing and family life shaped him into a man who lacked emotional depth, but in this story, the reader learns how his meeting with Jade allows him to become his true self. The romance is hot, passionate, and impulsive, but what develops from this is deep and meaningful. It's a lovely story with a suspenseful twist.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Owen's getting married, it should be good news,
But the bride is really not someone he would choose.
The marriage has been arranged by the parents so
Both have succumbed to pressure to give it a go.
However on their wedding day, when he sees his bride
Owen decides to runaway, finding somewhere to hide.
His cousin comes to his rescue, allowing him to stay
And keeping his location quiet, so others keep away.
It is there that Owen meets Jade, her Mum and daughter, too,
And slowly the wall around his heart is totally broken through.
But what happens when his parents find him at last?
Will Jade and their dreams be relegated to the past?
A spicy romance with lots of heart all the way through,
Making this a great romance I hope you'll enjoy it, too!
For my copy of this book I say a big thank you
As I share with you this, my honest review.

Wonderful book in this incredible series. I was really not sure how much I'd like Owens book due to how he treated Skye in Jacobs book. I absolutely loved the transformation he made. Loved this book so so much! He redeemed himself for sure. I loved seeing how raw and vulnerable he was
Phenomenal book!

So let me just say this, when I started the Castlecove boys series , I hated Owen he was a blimp kinda character. Didn't like him much. In Jacob I most definitely hated him , called him what not names. Ugh just hated him. Period
But now comes his redemption story and Owen ,Owen fucking gets his damm redemption story alright.
This man he is so misunderstood, pushed aside , done things cause he was told not cause he wants to. Approval from his parents feeling unloved. Oh god. This one made me cry so much.
Enter Jade , she is just well those unnamed ,unknown puzzle pieces is what Jade is and the perfect fit for Owen.
Also we have our sweet lil nugget Poppy who is just the ray of sunshine that Owen has in his wallowing days.
This story has the sexy times, angst ,love and fun. With loads of family suspense and hatred. I devoured this book in a day missing out on my sleep for the night.
Nothing could prepare me for how much I love and loved Owen. Amazing and beautiful story.
You gotta read for all the happenings of Jade's career which I must say is so fucking bloody brilliant.
Read read read and you will fall in love with Owen!!

Owen is the redemption story i didn't know I needed
Runaway groom + #instalove + single badass mom
With a strong writing and story, and a healthy amount of laughter and spice, this book surprised me.
and we KNOW VH Nicolson NEVER disappoints
Thank you Boldwoodbooks for this ARC opportunity 🙏🏻

Boldwood, I am on my knees thanking you for the eARC. This was so fucking cute, the way Owen fell hard and fast was the absolute cutest thing ever. The way he took care of Jade and Poppy (the NICKNAMES?!) Ugh
Be still my heart.
This was such a good read and I love the happy ending that Owen got. He more than deserved it.

Owen is an emotional and steamy romance that starts with a runaway groom and ends in love. Owen walks away from an arranged marriage and the pressure of his wealthy family, looking for a fresh start. He ends up staying with his cousin, where he meets Jade, a strong, independent single mom and skilled pilot.
Jade is focused on her career and raising her adorable daughter, Poppy. She doesn’t expect Owen to walk into her life, but their chemistry is instant. I loved watching their relationship grow from strangers to lovers, with touching moments, funny scenes, and plenty of steam.
Owen’s bond with Poppy was especially heartwarming.
This story is about second chances, healing from the past, and finding love when you least expect it. It’s well written and engaging with just the right mix of romance and emotion.
Very grateful to the publisher for my copy through NetGalley, opinions are my own

🌟🌟🌟🌟
Yes Owen, we love a redemption story! I loved the mix of emotional depth and steamy romance. Owen’s journey—from runaway groom to finding purpose and love with Jade—was heartfelt and really well done. Jade is strong, grounded, and the perfect match for him.
If you love strangers-to-lovers, single mom romance, and a hero trying to rebuild his life, Owen is definitely worth the read.
Thank you Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the gifted copy 💕

Owen by V.H. Nicolson is a vibrant and seductive romance that blends emotional depth with sizzling chemistry. At its heart is Owen—a kind, gentle soul caught in the chaos of a dysfunctional family and searching for purpose beyond the shadow of his upbringing. His journey toward self-discovery takes a sharp, passionate turn when he meets Jade, a fiercely independent woman whose only certainty in life is her love of flying.
Nicolson excels at crafting characters who feel real and emotionally layered, each carrying their own burdens and insecurities. The dynamic between Owen and Jade is electric, fueled by both vulnerability and desire. Their romance unfolds with a perfect balance of tension, spice, and heartfelt moments, creating a narrative that’s as emotionally engaging as it is steamy.
With an entertaining plot and richly drawn leads, Owen is a compelling addition to the series—one that keeps the reader fully immersed from start to finish. It’s a sexy, heartfelt escape that promises more excitement to come in future installments.

Owen is part of the Billionaire Boys series and is the story of Owen and Jade. Owen works for his family’s business and made it his life’s mission to attempt to please his parents. But the moment he’s facing his arranged bride at the altar, he knows he can’t do it anymore and needs to run. He runs to his cousin and decides to stay with him until he figures out what to do next. He then meets Jade, his cousin’s boss. Jade is a single parent and a very accomplished pilot. She’s tired of guys who won’t cut it in her hectic life. With a small child and a career that she loves, she’s trying to make having it all work. She didn’t expect Owen and he certainly didn’t expect her. This story was adorable and heartfelt. Owen and Jade have instant and sparkling chemistry that lights up like fireworks. The story is well written, creative, refreshing, and interesting. It’s a true tale of finding love when you least expect it and life throwing curve balls at you. It was refreshing to see how well Owen interacted with Jade’s child and the sort of role reversal of the man without a job and them rescuing each other. A great read!

It’s been a while since I’ve read a “rich boy” romance, and Owen offered a slightly different take on the trope. Instead of flaunting his wealth, Owen feels conflicted about it—more “I’m rich but ashamed of it and don’t mind living simply”—which gave the story a quieter, more introspective vibe than I expected. I didn’t fall for either of the main characters, Owen or Jade, right away. But as the story progressed, I found myself warming up to them. The deeper we got into their lives, the more fully realized they became, and it felt like the author hit their stride about a third of the way in.
The “love at first sight/soulmates” angle isn’t usually my thing, and that element is definitely strong here. If you’re into fated love stories, this one will hit the right notes. For me, it took some suspension of disbelief, but I still appreciated the emotional depth and sincerity in their connection.
The pacing is on the slower side—more of a steady simmer than a whirlwind romance. That said, there’s a dramatic twist around the 80% mark that adds some tension and stakes, which helped pick up the momentum heading into the final chapters.
Overall, this is a quiet, character-driven romance with soulmate vibes and a low-angst atmosphere (until the end). If you’re looking for a billionaire romance that’s more introspective than flashy, this one might surprise you—in a good way.
I would give this a solid 3.5 stars!

I am so sad that this is the last book in series. Lincoln and Jacob were already so good so I knew Owen would be amazing. I loved watching his character growth throughout the series. Jade was such a badass FMC and was Owen's perfect match. I love that they were older so the relationship felt mature and the issues they faced were realistic. Truly a 5 star read.
