I'm super excited to give these a go! I'm nota master, so I stick to the beginners but there is something for everyone in here!

Are you ready for some crochet fun? This is the perfect book for that. Twenty five adorable patterns by @curiouspapaya with helpful tips and tutorials. I loved that they were even categorized for skill level! Beautifully photographed to see reference points for items. As you browse the pages of this book you’ll be making a list of your friends and which critter for them! Super fun! Grab your hook and pick your favorite cuddly companion to crochet!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you NetGalley, Cider Mill Press and Amy Ting for the complimentary ARC. Review is based on my thoughts and opinions.

Adorable crochet patterns with great instructions. It starts off with basic instructions on how to change colors, make a magic circle and so on. Which is great for beginners. The patterns go from simple to difficult but no matter your skill they’re all very cute. I already started making one and will definitely order more yarn once I decide which ones I want to make. Highly recommend it!

Very cute. Will definitely use these patterns to create stuffies in the future. I like that they're different than the ones I already have and that it includes popular animals like penguins and sloths.

Review of Amigurumi Critters by Amy Ting.
Good for beginners, very cute designs.
I like that it shows UK and US Hook Sizes and goes in depth about what yarn you need to use.
Overall, a lovely book for crochet lovers.

How cute are these patterns? So cute, oh my gosh. I picked this up for the fox, but imagine my surprise when I got to the last pattern in the book and it was a capybara! I love the attention to detail and explanations of different stitch methods. I’ve made quite a few amigurumi in my time and i think I’ve still learned from the tutorial section. It was clear, concise, and I can’t wait tonstart trying the actual patterns. They appear to be well written and easy to follow, with just the right balance of photos to not be overwhelming.

Thank you Cider Mill Press for granting me an ARC! All opinions are my own and not influenced by the publisher.
I love this book! The intro is great! It starts with UK vs. US hook sizes, suggest tools & yarn, includes easy to follow video and picture instructions - everything you need for a solid foundation before jumping into the patterns. Patterns are also well thought out and easy to follow.

I enjoyed reading Amigurumi Critters by Amy Ting. You will fall in love with all the characters. I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely. Happy Reading and being creative!

Amigurumi Critters by Amy Ting is a brightly colored and sweet craft book filled with 25 critters you can crochet yourself.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five out of five!
This book provides step-by-step instructions that are very detailed and the pictures are bright and colorful. The patterns start at beginner and make their way up to advanced. These are fantastic and Ting did a great job!

This is a delightful book!
A variety of exciting crochet patterns, all with excellent instructions and very clear photographs.
The book progresses from easy patterns for beginners, through to more complex patterns for experienced crocheters.
The creatures featured are all very fun, and appealing.

Although not intended for beginning crocheters, this is appropriate for anyone ready to tackle amigurumi. The patterns seemed simple (although were a bit repetitive-- a lot of hay is made from the bird pattern, which mainly uses color variations to bulk out the book with "different" patterns. The basic instructions have a lot of photos but the quality of these seemed varied, with a few arrows looking like they were added freehand in a Paint program. They are generally adequate for someone who already knows the basics and needs a reminder, or is ready to progress to the more 3D-useful stitches. The author promotes her own website and other tie-ins a little much; a book can just be a book without also trying to monetize a related Insta thing.
eARC from NetGalley.

Amigurumi Critters is a cute and easy to follow crochet pattern book. As a beginner, I can't tackle complicated patterns just yet, but I had a lot of fun trying out the designs. I'll definitely try more patterns. Thanks to Netgalley and Cider Mill Press for the early copy.

I thought the patterns were cute! I would agree that this book is for those with intermediate crochet skills. I felt like a beginner because I struggled with the magic ring for a bit, but I thought the pattern I tried was straightforward and easy to follow. I thought the tips at the beginning of the book were helpful, and overall I found the book very approachable. This gives me something to practice and strive to be able to complete!
Thank you to NetGalley and Cider Hill Press for the ARC!

As a beginner, I was excited to try these patterns, and was especially appreciative of the offer to watch Ting's YouTube videos. For a visual learner, that would be great! However, some of the instructions in the book were a bit confusing. For example, the Magic Circle in Techniques: in step 1, it explicitly says "with your NONDOMINANT palm..." but in the rest of the steps the instructions don't specify which hand to use making it confusing for a beginner.
Otherwise, the book is great! Super fun projects, adorable designs, and (mostly) easy-to-follow instructions. I can't wait to master the basics so I can start creating my own little critters!

A super creative, expressive and easy to understand crochet amigurumi book! I will for sure be bringing some of these characters to life! The instructions are accompanied with effective photos and is easy to understand.
As a person who has experience with Amigurumi and crocheting I think I would be able to follow all of these patterns! I learned about about the difference between yarn over and yarn under- the photos are very helpful. I think my first creation will be Samsun and Scout the spiders! Super cute, and well written!

As someone who fell in love with Woobles, Amigurumi Critters by Amy Ting hits every mark. The patterns are not only adorable but also incredibly easy to follow—even for those just starting out. The instructions are clear, the visuals are helpful, and each project feels achievable while still being fun and creative.
Amy Ting has a real talent for making amigurumi accessible without sacrificing charm or quality. Every critter in this book is something you'd be proud to display or gift. Whether you're new to crocheting plushies or looking to expand your collection beyond kits, this book is a total win.
Highly recommend to fellow Wooble lovers and amigurumi crafters of all levels! 🧶💛

I read "Amigurumi Critters" by Amy Ting on NetGalley! I would definitely purchase this book. All the patterns are adorable and the patterns have helpful techniques! I think even a beginner crocheter could follow these instructions.

These are so absolutely cute and the directions are easy to follow! I appreciate that every single one of the patterns have a difficulty level and explain next to the pattern before you start where you can find some of the specific starting magic circle or if it needs to be sewn, I do wish that all of the patterns had the matching QR code with them so you can watch the video with them but there is only a few that have it (currently)

Really lovely and clear pattern writing and accompanying photographs. I love how beginner friendly the patterns are (as a beginner). If you know the basics then you'll be able to make some of these cute critters!

Such. fun and exciting read. Full of very clear step by step instructions and cute makes. I love and appreciate that there were photos for each step which makes it so easy to progress through.
