When Annie rushes home to her small town after her brother is paralyzed from an accident, she has no idea how many secrets will unravel. As she helps an old friend uncover the identity of her attacker, takes care of her brother, and reconnects with an old neighbor, she realizes that maybe no one can be trusted.
A twisty, fast paced thriller that had me flipping pages quickly to uncover each and every piece of the puzzle. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a fast paced, multi-layered thriller!
Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC in exchange for a fair review.

Whoa — talk about a twist I never saw coming! I didn’t even have this one on my radar, which is why I happily bumped my rating from 3.5 stars to a solid FOUR.
The middle section did slow down a bit for me and felt a little repetitive, but that ending? Worth it. Amanda Brittany has pulled me in before — I’ve given several of her books FIVE stars — so she’s still very much on my must-read list.
Released in June, Let Me Out (along with several of the author’s other titles) is free to read for Kindle Unlimited subscribers, so now’s the perfect time to grab it!
Big thanks to NetGalley, Amanda Brittany, and Boldwood Books for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

The writing is superb, creating a captivating and suspenseful read from beginning to end. The characters are well-developed and believable, and the plot is full of unexpected twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very last page.

WOW! This book had so many twists and turns! I absolutely loved it. I was hooked from the very beginning, which made it a super quick read for me. I was questioning everyone and everything through the whole book, only to find out I was wrong about it all. The reveal at the end was WILD! Definitely recommend for fans of John Marrs and similar authors.

Annie left her hometown to become a doctor, but now she has to go back. She’s avoided Ridgewater ever since that tragic night twelve years ago when her best friend, Giselle, died. But with her brother injured in an accident eerily similar to Giselle’s, it’s time for her to return. And with this premise the story begins. Giselle’s mother is still living next door to Annie’s family and remains as unsettling as ever, clinging to memories of her daughter. Natalie, another old friend, is equally fixated and determined to uncover the truth of that night. When Annie and Natalie learn about another girl who went missing in Ridgewater around the same time, questions arise. Could Annie’s brother be involved? And was there really a voice calling “let me out” from behind a locked door? As connections between Annie’s family and the tragedy from twelve years ago come to light, the situation grows darker—and Annie herself may be in danger. Could Ridgewater claim another victim?
This is a tense and twisty mystery with an array of characters who like any good thriller will lead you down the wrong path. There are some really good twists in this book and so it is perfect if you like a strong psychological thriller. I would definitely recommend. With thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for a review.

This is the second book I’ve read by Amanda Brittany and having read the synopsis, thought it would be right up my street. I was not left disappointed!
The story is based on what happened at Ridgewater 12 years ago when a young girl lost her life, another had something significant happen to her and another young girl disappeared and how it all relates to a present day accident involving Elliot Blake. The story is told by Annie Blake who lived in Ridgewater 12 years ago and is the sister of Elliot. The chapters are told between present day and 12 years ago, which I particularly liked.
I found this a real page turner and was kept gripped throughout trying to figure out what happened to each individual and if and how the different incidents all linked together.
I really enjoyed the ending, mainly because I didn’t see it coming and it totally shocked me… which is no mean feat as I usually figure most things out before the end.
I have more to read on my kindle from this author and can’t wait to pick up the next one. I give this a solid 4 stars and would fully recommend it.
Thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley who provided me with an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Let Me Out is a fast-paced psychological thriller with plenty of twists to keep you guessing. Amanda Brittany does a great job of building suspense and creating an eerie atmosphere throughout. The story moves quickly, and the short chapters make it hard to put down. Some of the character motivations felt a little far-fetched at times, but the overall plot was engaging and kept me hooked until the end. A solid read for fans of dark, twisty thrillers!

This book is all about secrets. I loved this book. It was so unpredictable and full of twists. Believable characters, short chapters. I honestly couldn't put it down. Highly recommend.

'Let Me Out' is a dark, atmospheric thriller that pulls you into a small town full of secrets and lingering questions. The writing is immersive, and the tension builds steadily as the story unfolds which I loved! There are quite a few characters, which sometimes stresses me out - keeping track of who's who s If you like slow-burn mysteries with emotional depth and a creepy edge, this one's definitely worth a read!

This thriller throws you straight into multiple POVs across alternating timelines, slowly revealing what really happened twelve years ago. I won’t lie — keeping track of all the characters at first had me feeling a little lost. But once everything started to click, I was all in.
The creepy vibes of the house where the main character’s best friend used to live feels unsettling and it added such a mysterious, haunting layer to the story.
The book’s divided into three parts, and for me, parts one and three were the most intriguing.
The middle felt a bit repetitive and dragged in places, but I pushed through — and wow, the twist at the end totally caught me off guard in the best way.
Overall, it’s a gripping read packed with jaw-dropping twists and just the right amount of chaos to keep you flipping the pages.
Definitely one to check out if you love thrillers that’ll shock you!
⚠️ 𝐓𝐖: death, mental illness and mention of rape

A fantastic fast-paced thriller with shocking twists and turns. I love when emotional elements are weaved in the story seamlessly blending the suspense buildup with mysterious plotline. I loved Annie and her mother’s fairy sightings.
Short chapters keep you hooked till the very end. Mystery is creepy, eerily dark, and very twisted.
Multiple timelines and POVs adds interest and characters are unreliable and full of secrets and shocking lies. It made you guessing until the very end. So many questions about whodunit and why ?
Unputdownable with jaw-dropping twist at the end, which I couldn’t even imagine. Superb 👌
✨️Thanks to @Netgalley and Boldwood Books for the eARC.

Wow! This book was creepy. I was gripping my Kindle so hard reading this. There was this underlying feeling of something is really off here. This would make a great for spooky season. Thank you Netgalley and Boldwood for this great read!

Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books and author Amanda Brittany for the advanced e-copy of Let me Out.
As I read that this was perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, I immediately requested a copy, and oh boy, Amanda Brittany did great! I'm not one to compare works into what's better or worse, but this was a strong 4 star read.
The character development was great, and this also includes bi characters that did not have a big role in the story. I also quite enjoyed the worldbuilding, but the best part? Part III until the end!

I enjoyed this one. Don’t have anything bad to say or that it was overly great! Thank you NetGalley and publisher for early arc

I thought this book was going to be more creepy but the second part of the book was a let down for me.
Annie goes back to her hometown because her brother gets hurt and he’s paralyzed. Annie meets up with old acquaintances and she learns that her brother might have been hurt due to a missing girl in the area.
Overall, the first part of the book kept my interest and then I didn’t really care about the story by the second part.
Thanks netgalley and publisher for a chance to read this book for free in return for my honest opinion.

LET ME OUT By Amanda Brittany
Annie has avoided returning to her hometown of Ridgewater since the terrible night twelve years ago when her childhood best friend, Giselle, lost her life. But now Annie’s brother has been injured in an accident identical to Giselle’s, and she knows she must go back.
Giselle’s mother – still living in the house next door to Annie’s family – is as creepy as ever, consumed with the memories of her dead daughter. Natalie, another of Annie’s old friends, is similarly obsessed, desperate to uncover the truth of what really happened that night.
Then Annie and Natalie discover that another girl went missing in Ridgewater around that time. Could Annie’s brother be involved? And was there really a voice calling ‘let me out’ from behind a locked door?
As the connection between Annie’s family and the tragedy twelve years before starts to emerge, things grow more sinister – and Annie’s own safety comes under threat.

Thank you, Amanda Brittany and Boldwood Books , for a copy.

Omg, I read this book in a day. I do love a gothic thriller. It had the creepy house, dark town, and tons of secrets. When Annie’s brother Elliott has an accident, Annie goes back to the town she grew up in and is confronted with events all stemming back to one night 12 years ago. This book had so many twists and turns that I could not put this book down. The one big twist is something that I never would have predicted in a million years. I definitely recommend.

Wow! What a ride! This one had my head spinning! I really enjoyed how everything came together in the end!
Thank you Boldwood Books for the arc!

Told by various people and with different timelines, the story is taut throughout , always making the reader second guess what is going to happen next. It is a great page turner and with an ending that I certainly wasn't expecting.
Overall 4.5*
Thanks to Netgalley/ Boldwood books for the ARC to review

Annie has not returned to her hometown in years, and only her brother's serious injury, and her mother's plea to come, make her visit. Annie realizes that her brother fell from a cliff not far from where Giselle, her next door neighbor and friend, died 12 years ago. Annie meets up with another old friend, Natalie, who is searching for the identity of the man who assaulted her on the same night that Giselle died. When they learn of another girl who disappeared around the same time, and Annie receives suspicious messages, they are convinced that there is more to learn about that deadly night.
I could not put this book down! It was impossible to know, until the end, who was telling the truth and who still had secrets to hide. The ending was completely unexpected but neatly tied up the loose ends, and how I hate a mystery with loose ends!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
