What a great book! I really enjoyed Olivia’s character and thought the author did a great job developing the story. An easy 5*s from me!

This was a good read, but that was mainly down to the parallel of Olivia’s life and that of her neighbours.
This probably would be most suitable for those who haven’t read a lot of mystery and won’t guess everything that happens. A quick beach read though.

It was okay; it kept me intrigued until the end. How everything will conclude, I think, if you read a lot of psychological books, you will guess right away. There weren't any surprises, just too many horrible people and mental illness issues. However, I still liked some parts of the story that made you want to turn the pages just to follow how the main character planned everything and got away with it.

This was a quick read for me. A page turner for sure. Being lost in the daily routine, Olivia is so relatable to so many ways. Such a likable character that really draws you in. Then you have the Berkley's. Full of mystery, dark secrets, and manipulation, you just find yourself wanting to know more about them while not being fond of them at the same time. What secrets are the Berkley's hiding though? Filled with twists and turns, you HAVE to read this book to find out! I gave this read 5 STARS!!
Thank you NetGalley for the eArc!

My first book by Jordan Cannon, and probably not the last.
Olivia moves in next door to Tess and Ethan. Working as a mail woman, Olivia gets a good sense of her new small town. Once she begins helping Tess and Ethan with their daughter, things start to get strange.
They appeared to be the perfect family and perfect neighbors, but you don't really know what happens behind closed doors. Olivia gets tangled in the web of chaos. Can she get out before it gets worse?
So many twists and turns executed perfectly that I have to highly recommend this book!!!

Such a great book! And a quick read for me because I literally could not put it down! So many twists and turns! I was dying to get to the next page so I could read what would happen next! I don’t want to go into details and ruin the book! So you just have to read it for yourself! I will be reading more from this author!

The Perfect Neighbors by Jordan Cannon is a gripping psychological thriller that keeps readers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
Cannon expertly builds suspense throughout the story, layering in twists and turns that leave readers questioning the characters’ true intentions. The pacing is fast, with a well-structured plot that maintains tension, making it hard to put the book down once you start.

from the get go i felt unnerved and uneasy. was i suspicious of the perfect village. or was i questioning the narrator and main character? what was happening. who was i to be frightened of? love it sometimes when you have a book where your not sure you being told the truth even by the main character. and this main characters has secrets of her own.
Olivia walks through her perfect town every day. shes told herself this is the fresh start. but at night it all changes. there is something off, rotten even. there are sounds in the woods surrounding her. and her rich neighbours are definitely not showing what really goes on behind closed doors but the crack are beginning to show.
this was a guessing game of a book and Jordan did a brilliant job of giving the sense of uncertainty and unease all the way through.

Definitely a thrilling book. I didn't guess the twist at all and I did find the ending being open to be abit unnerving, but I will just choose to belive that justice was served and no one else ended up getting harmed. 4 stars because I am unsure if I liked the open ending or not otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Every day, Olivia walks her mail route through a picture-perfect town. Every night, she returns to her rundown home and tells herself this is a fresh start. But something’s off; the heat smells of rot, footsteps stalk the woods, and her wealthy neighbors, the Berkleys, are hiding cracks behind their smiles. When a body turns up, the town’s facade begins to crumble. But Olivia isn’t scared. She has secrets too. This was my first book by Jordan Cannon, and I’m already looking forward to reading more.

A creepy tale which had me sucked in from the word go.
Interesting neighbours!
Great storyline, well written characters.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

First, thank you Netgalley for this ARC!
The blurb and the cover did both draw me in, and what can I say? The story did deliver what was promised! This was a twisty, fast-paced read I did enjoy from the beginning to the end. I am going to keep an eye on the author from now on. Very much recommended!

THE PERFECT NEIGHBOURS BY J.M CANNON.
Release date is set for the 13th of May 2025.
I really enjoyed this book.
I really liked the pacing of the story
Love the cover.
Straight away I had creepy vibes from the very first couple of pages.
This is my first book by this author and looking forward to seeing what others there are

From the moment I started this book I was engaged. The first chapter pulls you in and gets you curious about what is to come in the rest of the book. There were a few moments when I was getting confused about the MC but in the end it all wraps up and explains. I was intrigued throughout and really enjoyed the twist ending.
