The dedication got me good! As a people pleaser myself, I loved how much I was able to relate to K! Our intimate relationships and sexual experiences can be so difficult to navigate if you are always putting others before yourself! You’re allowed to be prioritized and you’re allowed to take up space, especially in your own relationships💕

I want more more more 😭 this novella was short and spicy but still managed to hook me into the characters!! I wanted to know them so much deeper and I wish there was 300 more pages 😂 Thank you so much for the ARC opportunity! Another banger by Ms. Davis🔥🔥

Lexi Davis’ writing is sexy and emotionally literate. I could feel the moment that something clicked for the main characters - that moment when they were able to begin to heal.

This was so good! I felt like I was invading their personal space and could feel their awkwardness and discomfort. My only complaint is that I wanted more of it!

It was such a great story line, I'd never read a book like this before and I loved it so much. I could not stop reading. I love T and K so much, he was so sweet and understanding. And I loved how well the characters were written.

While it may have been a very short story, it was still an incredible with such lovable characters and a great storyline. I'd love to see more of these characters!!

Rating: 4/5 🥳 Fantastic read. It took roughly 45 minutes start to finish. I don’t typically read novellas but the description for this was KILLER. It was unlike anything I have ever read. The story/plot was a fresh experience. I just wish it was longerrrr. I didn’t want it to end so soon. I need a bonus scene ASAP.

Spice: 4/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ There was a story line being followed with several intimate acts. Beautifully written. If I could request anything, it would be for more descriptive words to be used.

Overall Review: This was a good book. If you need out of slump, need something new, maybe even don’t have a lot of time on your hands to commit to a novel or series at the moment, this is for you. I loved it. Indie reads are so important. I felt like the dynamic between the FMC and MMC was so different than most books, in a fresh set of eyes sort of way. T brought a sense of compassion in a golden retriever sort of way. K & T both serve as a reminder to us that societal norms are garbage. It really was a beautiful story.

As the characters in this novel experience sexual frustration, you will also feel it. There is only one bed in this warehouse, two complete strangers from different states, and one thing in common. (I can't tell you that lol). I could see this experiment playing out in the actual world. The writing was eloquent and easy to understand. It was an easy read with likable characters.

I giving this book a 4.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. This book is about two people met through Doc D to find a solution of their sex problem. That all I can said for now.

How someone can write something with so much spice and so much emotion in a NOVELLA is beyond me, but Lexi Davis accepted the challenge and blew it out of the water!
I was actually sad it wasn’t longer, to be honest, but that’s the only ‘downside’ to short stories. Especially this one.

A fast, steamy read with a unique storyline —a clinical experiment to help two people work through intimacy issues—and the chemistry between the characters was intense immediately. A short novella but it still felt a bit too rushed for me, and honestly would love more of their story. Still, it’s a solid pick if you’re in the mood for something quick and spicy. I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC. I enjoyed this novella it was spicy and the book had an interesting plot. I like the story and the way the characters developed throughout the book made it all better. The ending was perfect in a way although his marriages failed he ended up with her.

K and T both have trouble reaching a certain point when being intimate. So, they find a doctor.

I haven’t read anything along the lines of this before, it is a very unique storyline. If it was a longer book it could definitely push for 5 stars but as it is only a novella they generally feel rushed which is the only reason for 4 stars.

I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a quick read!!

Just a sweet story buuuut so spicy!!! Which I loved!!!
The ending was perfect and I was hoping they met back up!!! The characters were so relatable!

I found the story of k and t to be a bigger meaning with in the story it’s self focusing on self love and emotional connection rather than it being purely physical. I thought it was beautifully written and the message loud and clear .

Just finished this and I loved it more than I expected. I usually find it hard to read novellas and feel a connection to the characters with it being short but hold me for now was great. You get to understand why they struggle and how they overcome it

I really enjoyed this book! The communication, chemistry and connection between these two was amazing. I don’t know how Lexi Davis was able to write such amazing characters and their development in only a few chapters and pages but it really was amazingly written. I hate reading a dark romance that is all about abuse and has lack of consent so this was a nice refresher and reminded be that not all dark romance needs to include abuse and lack of consent. T and K are two broken pieces that were able to create one whole together. Also the communication in this book was insanely hot and the sexual scenes were written in a way that didn’t make me cringe.

Okay this was SO well done!!! Not at all what I was expecting but better. I find that novellas can be tricky to connect to the characters because there’s so little time to build that with the reader but I felt so deeply connected to these two. It was such a unique premise and honestly I want a whole dang book about it and more of Trevor and Kristi. I am not a dark romance reader at all but this one really intrigued me and I’m so glad I gave it a chance! I think It would have been so cool to get a few chapters from his perspective as well, but I still loved it. I really thought it was heading in a cliché, insta love kinda direction but it was much better. Definitely recommend!
