I don't really know what to say about this. Nothing really happened. It was kind of boring. There were some gigs played, some text messages exchanged, a scary movie was watched, and there was a single sex scene. I couldn't really get a grasp of the characters, so I didn't connect with any of them.
When they were in their little fight? (not really a fight, but after that first kiss when Mike ran away, I think the author was trying to go for angst but it fell flat). I'm pretty sure I was supposed to feel something about it, but I was just really disinterested. I didn't care whether they ended up together or not, and that's not really how I should be feeling when I'm reading a romance

This book follows Gen and Mika who are in separate bands that have rivalry. It starts with Gen hearing Mika’s band perform for the first time and getting enthralled by Mika’s voice. After their first encounter, Gen realizes that Mika goes to his university (Mika already knew). This jump starts their friendship which later develops into romantic. *Thoughts while reading* I’m only 51 pages in and they are already so cute! *Thoughts after reading* I wish I could have seen more build up of their relationship, but it’s a manga so… Gen was probably my favorite. He had a I don’t give a… attitude and he just did what he wanted. Mika was so flirty that I actually had to take mini breaks to giggle at them. It was a very enjoyable and quick read, I just wish it was longer.
