Blake and Astrid, what a pair, I loved their chemistry and banter.
Astrid doing all she could to help Sienna with Aiden but finding herself drawn to Blake constantly.
The jealousy from Blake was amusing to read. Loved the Justdesserts whatsapp group. We all need a group of women like the Karma club to support us.

Astrid and Blake have great chemistry, and I was hooked from the start with the revenge plot and emotional depth beneath the romance.
The third-act breakup felt earned. The pacing made this a quick read, but it still had substance, which I appreciated. Definitely excited to finish the series and see where things go next.

The Puck Stops Here is the third installment in The Karma Club series. The Karma Club series is about a group of women who meet at an airport when all flights are shut down due to a snowstorm. Each woman was wronged by a man and, after several adult beverages, they decided to get revenge for each other. Astrid takes on Sienna's ex, Aiden, who was her childhood sweetheart and left their hometown and became an NHL star with his twin brother, Blake. Astrid is a reporter and found the perfect in to get close to Aiden - Blake's bad boy reputation is causing problems for his career and she pitches the idea of writing an article on the twins to help with Blake's image. Her plan is to get close enough to Aiden to make him fall for her and then leave him. Unfortunately, as she gets to know the brothers better, she isn't sure Aiden deserves his just desserts and Blake is constantly pulling her focus to him.
Blake and Astrid are so good together! The boys grew up with an abusive father and Astrid helps Blake see that he isn't defined only by his past and can change how he reacts on the ice. Blake may have a bad boy image but underneath it, he's a teddy bear. They have fantastic chemistry as well. The meddling isn't only up to Astrid either - Aiden also does his fair share of trying to interfere in Blake's life. The books in the series have generally occurred during the same time frame but with how this one ended, I hope Sienna's story will pick up near the end of this one...or there are more coming!

Many thanks to Boldwood Books, Rachael Stewart, and NetGalley for the ARC of The Puck Stops Here in exchange for an honest review.
The Puck Stops Here is the third book in The Karma Club cross-author series. Although I did not read the first two releases in this series, the story line and set up allowed for this book to start the reader falling in love with the series and adding the other three books quickly to their TBR list. This book had one of my favorite MMC tropes – grumpy but fiercely protective, with a little bit of “he falls first” sprinkled in there.
We dive into the family history between two brothers who are co-dependent playing on the same professional hockey team at the same time the MFC is a journalist who is carrying out a plot set up by four accidental friends in the Chicago O’Hare airport to right the wrongs done to them by men in each of their lives.
Add this book to your TBR today if you are into a good found family with loyalty and unexpected love with a sprinkle of spice!

Astrid and Blake’s chemistry had just the right amount of slow burn and spice to keep me hooked from start to finish. The setup—a woman scorned plotting a little karmic payback—felt fun, sassy, and full of emotional tension. It’s the kind of premise that can go either way, but Stewart handles it with wit and warmth, letting the story unfold in a way that’s both satisfying and entertaining.
What really won me over was how easily digestible this book was, without being shallow. As a sleep-deprived mom of five, I don’t take “one more chapter” lightly—but I tore through this in under 24 hours. The characters felt real, relatable, and delightfully imperfect. You want everyone to get their happily ever after, and that emotional investment is a testament to Stewart’s character development.
Despite those minor quibbles, this was a thoroughly enjoyable, feel-good romance that left me smiling—and curious about what’s to come next. The hint of a continuing story was well-placed and has me eager to see what Rachael Stewart brings us in future installments.
If you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced, low-angst romance with heart and heat, The Puck Stops Here is a great pick. Just be prepared for a bit of British flair in an otherwise all-American love story.

This book had me hooked from the first page, the fact that it was a group of girls who had met at the airport and decided to form a packed made it even better. I loved the dynamic between all the main characters especially Blake and Astrid, the fact that they tried not to like each other at the beginning of the book but then realised that they could do nothing about their feelings had me on the edge of my seat I was rooting for them from the second they met, I really wanted them to be together. This book is very well written and it is fast paced to, I also love that it is in duel POV the fact that you get 2 peoples story makes you want to read it all the more. I did not like the way that Blake found out what she was up to and the way that it made him feel when he did but I am glad that he did find out and I am also glad that they both got their happy ever after.
this is the first time I have read a book by this author and I cant wait to read more.

Astrid is such a gentle soul, but also a fierce, independent business woman as well. In comes her pact with her best friends where they each seek to get revenge/karma for something that has happened to them. So, Astrid embarks on a mission to get to know Aiden and Blake, the Titan twins. Hockey players with a mischievous, yet caring streak who have had a difficult time growing up.
I enjoyed this novel and liked the dual perspective narrative between 2 of the main characters. It was a fun, easy read that had me vying for the main characters to get together. Generally a cute, fun book.
This novel explores the idea of found family/strong friendships and being there for people all the time. There are elements of alcoholism/domestic violence that are weaved throughout the story at times. Other TW include miscarriages.

Book three in the Karma Club series brings us back into the deliciously reckless world of friendship-fuelled revenge, where four women, a lot of prosecco, and one fateful meeting at O’Hare Airport turned heartache into a pact. I adored The Payback Plan (Amy Andrews), so I was excited to dive into Astrid’s turn — but this one didn’t quite stick the landing for me the way I hoped.
Our heroine, Astrid, is a respected freelance journalist on a mission — not for a story, but for revenge. She’s determined to make NHL star Aiden Carter pay for breaking Sienna’s heart years ago by ghosting her at her lowest point. Astrid’s master plan? Get close to Aiden by profiling his team and his twin brother, Blake — the bad-boy twin who, inconveniently, turns out to be pure catnip to her supposedly professional sensibilities.
Cue immediate sparks. And I mean instant. Astrid and Blake lock eyes and — bam — the emotional rollercoaster is off and running. There’s definitely chemistry, banter, heat… all the fun stuff you expect in a rom-com. But while the romance delivered the sizzle, the characters themselves left me a little lukewarm.
Blake has the emotional backstory to make him sympathetic — classic hot mess with a hidden soft centre — and over time, I found myself liking him more. That said, his early habit of calling Astrid “hot chick” made me cringe. It felt reductive and a bit too locker-room-lingo for a guy who’s meant to have real depth.
Astrid, meanwhile, just didn’t click with me. She’s presented as a hard-hitting journalist, but that didn’t always ring true alongside her more vulnerable, slightly chaotic side. I couldn’t reconcile the rich-girl-rogue-journalist vibe — it never fully gelled into a coherent character for me.
That said, I did enjoy the setup for the next book — Aiden and Sienna’s long-awaited showdown is clearly on the horizon, and a fair chunk of this book is devoted to exploring Aiden’s side of the story. I suspect I’ll enjoy their story more, given the history and emotional weight there.
The true heart of the series remains the female friendships — the Karma Club itself. Even when their revenge plans border on ethically dubious, the connection between these women is warm, supportive, and genuinely lovely to read. And yes, the ending here is really cute — it gave me the kind of swoony, happy sigh I want from a rom-com wrap-up.
All in all, a fun and flirty read with some standout moments, but this wasn’t my favourite of the series. Still, I’m sticking around for what’s next — bring on Sienna and Aiden.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. All opinions are my own — no Prosecco was involved in the making of this review (well not much anyway) 🍰🥂

I hadn’t read The Revenge Pact before, so this was a completely new experience for me. The story kicks off when a group of four women meet at an airport and start bonding over their past heartbreaks. Fueled by shared pain, they decide it’s time their exes got what’s coming to them—and each woman is assigned one of the others’ exes to "pursue" as part of the revenge plan.
In this book, we follow Astrid, who’s targeting Aiden, a high-profile NHL star. But there’s a twist—Aiden has a twin brother named Blake. From the start, Astrid and Blake have undeniable chemistry, and she quickly finds herself torn. Should she follow through with the pact or should she ignore her feelings for Blake? To complicate things further, she’s also writing an exposé on the two brothers, and she worries that her chemistry with Blake might affect her work.
As Astrid grows closer to both men, her loyalty, motives, and emotions are all put to the test. The result is a fun and fast-paced book. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance with revenge and sizzling chemistry. I’m excited to read more from this author and explore the rest of the series!

This is book three in the Karma Comes to Play series. I read it as a standalone, but I definitely recommend reading the earlier books first so you don’t feel lost.
Astrid made a pact with a group of amazing women she met in an airport to serve karma to each other’s exes. Her target? Hot hockey player Aiden. But the person pulling her in is his bad boy brother, Blake.
Using her journalist connections, Astrid sets up an interview with Aiden and Blake under the pretense of wanting to help improve Blake’s image. Her real goal is to grab Aiden’s attention, give him a taste of his own medicine, and then ghost him the way he did to her friend. The only problem is that her chemistry with Blake flares every time they’re near each other.
The deeper she gets into the plan, the more she starts to question whether revenge is even the right choice. I liked that once her feelings shifted, she tried to fix things rather than continue with the scheme. The tension between her and Blake was well written, and I could really feel her being torn between sticking to the pact or giving in to what she truly wanted.
The reason I rated this three stars instead of higher is because the flow felt a little choppy in places. I found myself rereading sections to make sure I understood what was going on. That aside, it was a cute read with a unique premise, and I’m excited to read the rest of the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read and review this story.

The Puck Stops Here is the third book in the Karma Club series. Astrid Sinclair's mission is to have pro hockey player Aiden Carter fall in love with her and then break his heart. As a journalist Astrid has approched the Titan's to do an article featuring both Aiden and his twin brother Blake. Blake is the bad boy and Astrid's kryptonite. As Astrid spends more time with the twins she feels like Sienna has gotten her ex Aiden all wrong. When things start to backfire for Astrid will she lose her heart along with the assignment? All of the books so far in The Karma Club has been fast and spicy reads. They will have you laugh out loud at the antics that these women put the ex-boyfriends through. Each book is written by a different author and flow from one book to the next. I would like to thank both NetGalley and Boldwood Books for letting me read an advanced copy of this novel.

a really enjoyable read. loved the premise and the plot played out exactly how id wanted it to going in. it was juicy and snugly and full of great strong characters.
Astird and her new found group of best friends for life meet at a hurt point. and so decide revenge needs to be given.they can do this for each other. and so Astrid heads to seek just that and heal her friends heart in doing so. she must go and make a fool of a hockey player. easy right?
but what Astrid didnt see coming was her own need to heal didnt come with the sight of the twin brother to deal with. twin brother Blake.
but writing this article that is meant to end them doesnt end up being so easy. especially with how she is feeling towards Blake. what does she do now?
a gorgeous read and just what i needed.

Wasn’t sure I was going to like it at first as I’m not a fan of revenge stories but I enjoyed Aiden & Blake’s relationship & banter enough to get me past that! And, of course, Blake and Astrid together are a dream! Fun book!

🌟🌟🌟🌟
The Puck Stops Here was such a blast! I have been absolutely eating this whole series up!
If you love enemies-to-lovers with a twist of revenge and a whole lot of hockey, this one’s for you. Astrid is a total powerhouse - smart, bold, and out for karma, and her plan to take down an NHL heartbreaker takes a deliciously chaotic turn when she falls for the wrong twin.
It’s spicy, smart, and packed with heart. A great pick if you’re in the mood for a fast-paced, flirty romance with a side of revenge and redemption 🥰
Thank you Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the gifted copy 💕

So, for me, this was mixed feelings. I'm all for the hockey-romance big guys and the intelligent sassy FMC, but the story was a bit too much.
The "revenge" plot did'nt work for me and also gave the story a kind of "lovetriange" which I don't like. However I liked the banter, the spice and the characters.

Wow!! Got an ARC from NetGalley and the author. Which i appreciate so much. Thanks! I loved this book. It was such a cute quick read. I loved it. I love sports romance so it was definitely my cup of tea. It was such a good read I loved every seconds of it. It had everything i was looking for. I will definitely read the last book in the series can't wait to start it. So far this series has been amazing. Revenge is so sweet. If you want a quick read you should check this series out. It's worth it so far. Thank you NetGalley and author for this amazing read.

Thank you Netgalley and Boldwood for this arc.
I honestly thoroughly enjoyed this book, devouring it in about 9hours.
Our girl Astird ends up grounded in Chicago during a snow storm, where she ends up at a small bar/dessert shop and meets 3 girls who quickly become good friends. Then the revenge pact is formulated, each one of them went through some absolute shit with their ex's and they all form a pact to dish up a little revenge on each of the guys. However it wouldnt be so simple for astrid as she's tasked with helping Sissi (Sienna) get revenge on her ex Aiden.. the problem? Aidens a twin and sparks fly for Astrid for the wrong brother.. Blake.
Blake is a 'bad boy' who really is a sweet ass pussycat on the inside but the past made him believe he was unworthy of alot of things. And there is more to the story on why Aiden and Sienna ended the way they did...
As feelings start feeling and as astrid learns the truth.. can she really exact revenege on Aiden for sissi? or will she only burn herself in the process of exacting karma.

When I got this book I didn’t know it was part of a series but it can be read on its own without any confusion.
Just like Astrid I ended up really liking Aiden and Blake the Titan Twins known as Ice and Fury. You wanted to know more about them and see the relationships between the characters.
This was a quick read that kept my interest. There is some spice for those that are interested and the bad boy with a heart of gold trope.

Astrid and her friends make a pact to get revenge on their ex’s for making their lives miserable. Astrid’s target is Siennas ex, Aiden.
Astrid manages to infiltrates the New York Titans as a journalist writing an exclusive exposé on Aiden and his twin brother, Blake. She is all ready to get under Aiden’s skin, and is totally unprepared for the attraction with Blake.
I loved the chemistry between Astrid and Blake. Astrid kept trying to fight, but it was too strong to be ignored. Blake is a bad boy and I enjoyed watching him fall in love. They both are complex characters and I thoroughly enjoyed their HEA. Overall this was a heartfelt romance that was sassy, sweet, and oh so hot. I look forward to Sienna and Aiden’s romance.

I loved this book SO MUCH. This had everything I adore in a sports romance and I was absolutely hooked from the first page right until the very last. I am so obsessed with Astrid and Blake. I'm now going to go back and read the previous books in this series because I have a funny feeling I'm going to love them just as much.
