I found "Three pucks and a baby" by Kaitie Ashley to be quite enjoyable, it does contain a significant amount of adult content presented in rapid succession. I liked it very much lol.

This book was exactly what I needed after a long and exhausting book series. It’s light, humorous, and not too deep, featuring a sensible almost 30-year-old main character. Although the male leads are all younger and in their final year of college, they get through tough times and find ways to make it work. Some reviews said the characters were sometimes childish or vulgar, and I agree — humor is an important love language for me, and sometimes fart jokes or childish pranks are just part of that. The actions fit the characters, so you should take them as they are. This book was a welcome change for me and delivered exactly what I needed. It has multiple POVs, a reverse age gap, hockey players, a surprise pregnancy, and epilogues that I really enjoyed — I only wish there had been one more epilogue! Overall, it’s a fun, cheeky story that’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face. With three hockey players and the school librarian, let your imagination run wild!

Actually a sweet story with a lot of character growth not just a 30 year old bonking a bunch of students. Fun read, thank you NetGalley for letting me read and review.

This book was okay, just a lot of smut for one sitting! But I enjoyed the characters.
Thank you again for allowing me to read this ad an ARC

I was a bit hesitant before reading this book—it sounded like it covered multiple cliches. But I was very pleased to be wrong. I liked the characters and their relationships with each other as a quad, and one on one. They had depth along with their relationships steam. I’d definitely recommend.

📖 Bookish Thoughts
I’ll never skip out on a why choose hockey romance 😍 and this one didn’t disappoint.
Vivian is a university librarian who’s turning 30 and just wants to feel alive again. She gets a bit more than she bargained for! Like three hot hockey players, a spicy birthday hookup, and a surprise pregnancy. To quote her and her vision board:
“My word for the year was live, and I was living!”
The second half dives into the emotional weight of their relationship. Family fallout, social expectations, and figuring out what it means to do life as a foursome. It wasn’t easy. I do wish we got more of their life after the baby’s arrival, but the ending and the epilogue was cute!

Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op and for the advanced copy. All thoughts are my own.

Thank you to the author and publisher for giving me access to read this book. Unfortunately, the book was not to my taste due to characters not being believable (in my opinion) and therefore I did not finish it on this occasion. I am giving it a midling star rating due to that.

My expectations for this was a lot of spice, but very little emotional intimacy. What I didn’t expect is for the story to lack flow and chemistry.
I felt no chemistry with the characters, Vivian and Bennett had some chemistry but add in the rushed factor and it didn’t get a chance to be developed properly.
Theo and Benett had chemistry especially due to how well the pining was written at the beginning but again, the book as a whole was rushed and it wasn’t developed.
As for the Grayson and Vivian/ Theo and Vivian combo, it never felt like more than sex to me.
Generally at this point, you can see the book lost me a lot and it had potential to be atleast a 3 star read because it was enjoyable. But I believe it’s one thing to start a story, it’s another to give the story so many elements that you can’t wrap up nicely.
There were a lot of jumps like “2 months later” “2 weeks later” that genuinely saddened me because I would’ve loved to be part of the process that was cut off. An example of that being the couple’s therapy.
Sigh
Thank you NetGalley for the Arc copy.

From the cover and the blurb you go into this book thinking it was going to be a cheesy little rom com, but it is so much more than that.
This book is a well written look at a 4 people learning the ins and outs of becoming a poly couple, as well as overcoming a lot of stigma about their situation.
I loved Viv as a character. She wasn’t afraid to embrace her sexuality and she was mature and written in a way that showed her age instead of saying “she’s 30.” But having her act young.
Each of the male characters develop throughout the book and grow. I loved watching the relationship between them change from teammates and friends to part of a poly couple.

This book was cute and fun. The three guys were absolutely hilarious and I adored the chemistry they had both with Vivian and with each other. Each of them came with a unique backstory and emotional baggage that made them feel real. That said, a few sections felt rushed, and some scenes didn’t add much to the overall plot. The dialogue could’ve used some polish too—better execution there would’ve made the story even more enjoyable. Still, the story was engaging and the spice was good.

A whole lot of smut. It depends on what you’re looking for, but I was hoping for a bit more plot and build up. It just felt a bit too unrealistic.

I received this book as an arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Honestly I’ve given this book 2 stars because I liked the premise.
Why choose romances usually work well for me and I always find myself unable to put them down. However this was not one of those books, all the characters seemed very 2 dimensional, and all of the relationships felt very forced through the whole of the book, as if they’re just playing out an act, even when they were all together.
I cannot see myself recommending this book to anyone even if they like ice hockey romances.

I love a reverse harem, it is honestly up there in favorite tropes for me. I VERY much enjoyed this book. The hockey romance too, just absolutely chefs kiss. Anyway I’m a Grayson girly in case you were curious… golden retriever boys >>

Thank you to Netgalley and ARC provided by Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for an early copy of this book in exchange for a honest review. I loved this book and read it in one day. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

Vivian, a academic librarian has a vision board and this year the theme is to Live. When she meets Grayson a senior and hokey player she decides to go out on a date with him. Unbeknowest to her he has his own adgenda. Grayson and Theo, his best friend and roommate and teammate always share a woman during hockey season as part of their supersition. Vivian doesn't want a part of this until she remembers her vision board. On the night they hook up they are also joined by Bennett the third roommate and best friend and team mate of Grayson and Theo's. Now over a month later Vivian finds herself pregant and not knowing who the father is. This is a really funny book that will have you laughing. On the spicy level I would give it a 5 out of 5. I want to thank NetGalley for letting me read a copy of this book.

Well it's a hot and steamy read!
I loved Vivian and Bennett, Theo and Grayson.
Hockey plays and there superstitions..
when Grayson sees Vivian working at the library on campus, she just captured his heart and fit what he and Theo craved in a threesome.. until Bennett comes along and falls for Vivian also.
These guys can get enough of Vivian, until she tells them she is pregnant.
Theo acts like a total jerk which leads to Bennett and Grayson pushing him away.
Through the suggestions of Bennett and Vivian, he seeks some counseling.
it helps the relationship for all 4.
Three guys decide they will all help raise the baby.
Vivian is blown away how they all are better together.
When baby Griffin arrive, it's a sweet moment.
A true story of love.

Reverse age gap polyamorous relationship with a surprise baby in the mix. It also has MM relationship within the polyamorous relationship. It also deals with mental health and dealing with issues of abandonment, and finding their found family.
I love to see that we see two sides of a coin with blood families accepting and dealing with their own personally struggles when it comes to a poly relationship and bi sexual relationships.

This story was a fun and quick read. If you're lounging by the pool side looking for a fun story to keep you entertained, I would pick this one up. And if you're a fan of hockey romance, then you will enjoy this book. While this book was very spicy and entertaining, the plot twists were coming on fast it almost gave me whiplash. Warning!! Possible soft spoilers to follow!!!:
The FMC and her MMC's meet, rendezvous like 2 nights later, then a short time later she realizes the consequences of that hook up but my mind is still on the trauma that was only briefly mentioned for one of the MMC's. I feel like if certain heavy topics are going to be brought up in a book, it needs to be explored more especially if reader is given the impression that the trauma is playing a significant role in the character's life. Also, for me personally, it's hard to believe an intense connection between people who just met. A connection like you would have with someone who's been your best friend for over 15 years.
Although, I really did enjoy the banter between the FMC and her sometimes insufferable most of the time nosey best friend Carlee. There were some real LOL moments between the two of them like when Carlee said to Vivian "Is that like he's preferred pronoun or something?" I found that conversation to be so funny!

If all you're craving is smut, this is the book for you. Sometimes you just need one of those good smutty books that you can turn your brain off and read - and this book delivered! It was fun, brain off, good storytelling of this why choose story.
I had a blast reading this and couldn't put it down! Definitely a book I'll be reading again if I'm in the mood for some good spice!
Thank you NetGalley for an eARC!

this was a fun en lovely romance book, with just enough spice. it had great characters who had lovely banter and a nice story line
