Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the digital ARC!
I love hockey romance. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I have no idea why, as I've never even watched a game, but I just love it.
I, unfortunately, didn't love this. I actually ended up DNF'ing because I was just permanently annoyed by our FMC, Sienna. Throughout the whole bit I read, I was like 'why are you so obsessed? You were teenagers!'. Like...it seems a bit extreme to want to destroy someone's life just because you got hurt when you were a teenager. The start of the book is also entirely unbelievable - four women coming together and all agreeing to do something as drastic as ruining the lives of each other's exes? It sounds silly, and it is.
I also find it bizarre that I'm expected to believe they met a year ago, but now suddenly, they're getting married/having babies? With people they didn't even know. I didn't know this was part of a shared universe before starting, so I know I can read these romances with the other women and men, but I don't want to. I'm just not invested in these characters or their lives.
I'm sure this will have people who love it (there are plenty of other great reviews), so there's a high chance you might like it, where I didn't!

This was my first Karma Club book, and now I need to go back and read the others! I loved the backstory and history with Aiden and Sienna. I really wanted to keep being mad at him, but as the book went on, that was impossible. I also loved the other characters, especially Astrid and Blake. Throw in the hockey theme and a wedding week setting, and it was pure gold. Pub date was just July 24th, and this is the last in the series!

Review (from the token American on the launch team!):
I realized as I finished this book that I’m a bookend reviewer for this series written by four different authors (you can scroll down in my feed to see my review of book 1, The Payback Plan) . Each book in the series focuses on each of the four different members of the Karma Club, and with the two I’ve read there is enough in the introduction to give the reader an idea of what has happened to each injured party, and the reasons they each desire karma (or, let’s be honest, they really want some schadenfreude–pleasure in seeing that person get his just desserts!). The skillfully told introductions ensure that each of the books can stand alone. I am happy to report that even though I didn’t read the middle two books, I got the gist of what happened with those couples. I’m also very pleased to report that the supreme slimeball got his comeuppance in a way I didn’t see coming, but was indeed schadenfreude of the best kind–and he didn’t even need his own book to get it.
This book did not make me laugh quite as much as the first (no hamsters!), but keep your eyes open for the cricket subplot that brought a good bit of humor. I enjoyed it, however!

Settling the Score is the final book in a new multi-author series, The Karma Club. The series is a spicy revenge romance and is perfect for fans of Olivia Goldsmith’s The First Wives Club and Sally Thorne’s The Hating Game. Settling the Score should definitely be read after The Payback Plan, How to Get Even, and The Puck Stops Here.
28-year-old Sienna Mastrangelo spends Christmas Eve stranded at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport due to a snowstorm and hangs out at Just Desserts, a sweets shop. She shares a table with three other stranded female travelers, and the ladies bond over prosecco and desserts. They share their tales of heartbreak and woe, and devise a scheme whereby each lady will seek revenge on another lady’s ex. The plan is to cause chaos in each heartbreaker’s life, not irreparable harm.
Sienna’s heart was broken by her childhood sweetheart, Aiden Carter, who left her and their small North Carolina hometown behind to pursue a hockey career. He was accompanied by his twin brother, Blake, who plays alongside him on the New York Titans NHL team. The original revenge plan was for Sienna to seek revenge on Paige’s ex, Harvey, who posted secret photos and videos of her online. Astrid fell in love with Blake while she was supposed to be getting revenge on Aiden.
Aiden and Blake Carter are known as the Titan Twins among hockey fans; cool-headed Aiden is “Ice” whereas hot-headed and impulsive Blake is “Fury”. While both brothers are standout forwards, Aiden has many lucrative product endorsement (modeling) deals. Since Astrid found out that Aiden is still in love with Sienna, she convinces Paige and Bella to help her plot a reunification plan for Aiden and Sienna. They decide that Astrid and Blake’s destination wedding is the perfect time and trick Sienna into seeking revenge on Aiden.
Settling the Score is a hilarious second chance rom-com with engaging characters. While readers can predict that Sienna and Aiden will find their happily ever after, it’s a delightful journey as they make their way back to each other. Sienna’s love for her young neighbor, Melanie, is precious, and makes her even more likable. The secondary plot of Sienna seeking revenge on Horrible Harry is also gripping, and I was impressed with her persistence and determination. Each story in this series became my new favorite and I hope that these authors collaborate again in the future. The Karma Club stories would make a wonderful TV series.
I received an Advance Review Copy (ARC) from NetGalley and Boldwood Books for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

What an awesome finish to a fabulous series, I loved this one I have been looking forward to Sienna’s story since book one and Clare Connelly rocked it, I loved Sienna and Aiden. Come along and have some fun with the Karma Club.
Sienna comes from a small town and hasn’t had the best of times in her life but the worst was when the boy she loved left and didn’t want anything more to do with her, even when she needed him most and she has spent pretty much the last ten years thinking about getting him back and then is it fate or what but she finds herself snowed in at O’Hare Airport in Chicago where she meets three other woman who will become her best of buddies all of whom also have a story of heartbreak caused by the men in their lives, this is where the Karma Club is formed and just deserts are planned but Aiden’s just deserts don’t go to plan and now it is time for Sienna to step in, how will this work out?
On a gorgeous island in the Mediterranean Sienna will have her chance to get Aiden to want her all over again and then dump him but chemistry is still strong between them and things are heating up and they are talking but can Sienna every really forgive him for what he has done?
This story had me from page one and it was truly hard to put down, there are so many emotions running through the words, it is moving, sensual and so very witty as well, Sienna and Aiden are in my opinion so meant to be together, I loved both of them and was cheering them on throughout the story it really is a beautiful story. And you just can’t forget the other Ladies and their partners of the Karma Club being all together was so very good, a sigh worthy story one that I do highly recommend.
This series is brilliant all four books are magical stories of love and romance and the authors bought all of the characters to life on the pages and made them friends, thank you all, you left this reader very happy.
My thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for my copy to read and review.

Settling the Score by Clare Connelly.
The karma club book 4.
I really did enjoy this book. I loved the cover. I have read the first three books and thoroughly enjoyed them. I loved Astrid, Paige, Bella, and Sienna. I loved how they were with each other. How close they were. I loved Cynthia. Blake and Aidens mum. The text messages from the girls, too. Especially the name on the WhatsApp group. Just desserts. I listened to this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. The crickets I Aidens' room had me. I definitely recommend this series. It's absolutely brilliant

Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this book! I hadn't realised till I finished it that it's the final of four books in a series called the Karma Club series. Being the first one I read, the start was a little confusing but I slowly wrapped my head around the different characters and was quickly invested in the relationship between Sienna and Aiden.
I quite enjoyed the premise of the Karma Club, and appreciated how much the four women supported one another. I also enjoyed how the reasons for the relationship panning out the way it did being rather complex, and that in the end both Sienna and Luke saw and understood each other and the decisions they had made.
I'm looking forward to reading the first three books of the series - overall an enjoyable read and premise for a four-part series.

Farewell Karma Club, I have loved each of these books, the third became my favourite and then this one has just knocked that out the park. I think its so amazing how four different authors have been able to come together in this way to create a series that flows together so seamlessly.
Karma truly became about the girls and their healing journeys, their friendship is something so special to see grow. The way they love, champion and defend so fiercely, they are the true love story.
In this book we see the foursome reunited for an extended period, this is the first time we've had this and the hijinks that ensues is hilarious, the cricket really got me giggling.
We had already got to know Aidan fairly well from book 3 so it felt like slipping on a comfy pair of slippers here where we really knew all the main players.
I loved the last couple of chapters, I thought the ending was absolutely perfect, I just wish it wasnt the end because I have really grown to love these women and their stories.
Just Desserts were finally served all round.

This story is pure romcom fun with a delicious revenge twist! Sienna is out for karma, and honestly? I was cheering her on from page one. Her plan to get even with her ex—who just *happens* to be a ridiculously famous (and still ridiculously hot) hockey player—starts off as petty perfection, but once they're face to face again? The sparks fly. This book delivers swoon, spice, and second chances with a side of sabotage.

The Karma Club wraps up in book 4 in the most perfect way! Sienna still hasn’t gotten revenge on Aiden for breaking her heart 10 years ago. So when stuck at a wedding on a private island with him, her Karma Club friends and her decide to have a little fun with him. But is it karma she seeks or an answer to why he left?
This second chance romance is so so great. I loved the chemistry between Sienna and Aiden and their story.
This whole series was fantastic!

I loved this book!
This book simply put was just a lot of fun!
The characters were so much great, and their chemistry was adorable.
I thought the writing was wonderful, fun and engaging.
Overall, I very much enjoyed reading this new title.

This is the final book in The Karma Club series. It is possible to read as a standalone but to truly understand the full story it’s best to read in order. I’d say this was the book I was most looking forward to, as this last guy deserved karma the most. However, truthfully I was disappointed that this part felt kind of rushed. The book was enjoyable and was a good ending for the series. I liked following each woman’s story and how their friendship blossomed. I give this book 3 out of 5 stars.

Settling the Score is the 4th novel in Connelly’s Karma Club series. The series follows four women who met by chance after having holiday flights delayed at the Chicago airport. They share a table at a dessert restaurant, split a few bottles of Prosecco, and make a pact to get revenge on all their terrible exes. This book follows Sienna, who has to spend a whole week with her ex as they celebrate the wedding of her best friend to his brother.
This can absolutely be read as a standalone novel, but I really wished I’d read the rest first! I loved the friendships between the four women and really wanted the full story for the other three. I might just go back and give them a read! I loved the backdrop of the Italian private island for the wedding and Sienna’s revenge. It sounded absolutely unreal! The forced proximity made their chemistry and the tension so obvious from the first day of wedding events. And I just adore a second chance romance! I loved uncovering all the details of their breakup as teenagers. The story was a little goofy in the best way and I had a lot of fun reading about this group’s antics. It was a fun, summery read!

This is book four in the Karma Club series, and after the last one, I couldn’t wait to see how things would play out with Aiden and Sienna.
Sienna meets the other women after getting snowed in at the airport, and together they form the Karma Club to get a little revenge on the exes who hurt them. Her heartbreak runs deep. Her high school sweetheart left her behind to chase his hockey dreams without even looking back. Now, years later, she ends up face to face with him on a remote island at his brother’s wedding.
Aiden walked away from Sienna thinking he was doing what was best for his family. But seeing her again brings all those buried feelings back to the surface. As they spend time together, he starts to wonder if the past really has to stay in the past.
I loved the plan Sienna and her friends put together. It wasn’t anything cruel, just a fun and clever way to give him a taste of his own medicine. What I didn’t expect was how emotional their reconnection would be. Once they finally had the conversation they should have had years ago, it opened the door for real healing. This book brought the steam, the laughs, and so much heart.
It was the perfect ending to the series. Everyone deserves a second chance at love, and I couldn’t wait for these two to finally put the pain behind them and hold on to what they were always meant to have.
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Book for allowing me to read this book.

🧡 Settling the Score by Clare Connelly (The Karma Club Book 4) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you haven’t read the earlier books, I’d definitely recommend starting from the beginning: The Payback Plan (Book 1), How to Get Even (Book 2), The Puck Stops Here (Book 3). The series continues and ends on such a high note! Sienna & Aiden are the final couple in the Karma Club crew and honestly they saved the best for last! I had so much fun reading this one. I loved the conflict between Aiden and Sienna. A wedding on a dreamy settling, a revenge plan turning into an irresistible second-chance romance, lovable characters, and all the summer vibes. It’s short, funny, and seriously heartwarming. Plus I adored the writing style and creative format. It made the whole thing such a breezy read! If you love rom-coms and sports romance, definitely give this series a shot this summer!!!☀️⛱️
If you enjoy sports romance and romcom, believing in second chances, enemies to lovers, forced proximity and revenge plot, love the style of Ali Hazelwood and Abby Jimenez; then this one is definitely for you!
This is an ARC review. I appreciate receiving this copy from NetGalley and the publisher in return for an honest review.

Book 4 in the karma club reads.
Such a great book you will get far more out of this series of books by reading in order but they can be read as a standalone.
Aiden and Sienna are our couple in this book and the emotions are rife in this read, I was completely hooked throughout, well written and possibly my favourite out of tge 4 books.
Thank you boldwood and NetGalley for the copy of this ebook.

Sienna has been dreaming of getting revenge on her ex Aiden for years, and now that one of her best friends is marrying his brother, she and her best friends have the perfect opportunity. Sienna has one week to make Aiden fall for her, ask her out, and then dump him without a backward glance, just as he did to her many years before. What Sienna doesn't have planned is for their chemistry to return, hotter than ever...
This book is the fourth in the karma club series, ideal for lovers of Ali Hazelwood and Abby Jimenez. I haven't read the first three books in this series, but as each book is written by a different author and focuses on different members of the karma club you do not need to read them to enjoy this. This book works well as a standalone because you get the background to the karma club and how it began at the start of the book. The chemistry between Aiden and Sienna was well-written and realistic, and the karma club themselves were a joy to read about - I think we all need friends like these girls!
This book was easy to get into, and was a great and relaxed read. I'd recommend this as a perfect summer or vacation read, or as a palette cleanser between thriller and other stronger genre books.

This was a great continuation of the Karma Club!
I love how it tied into Astrid and Blake’s story while being completely its own thing!
I’m not gonna lie, Sienna annoyed me for a lot of the book. I know she had her heartbroken and that Aiden really hurt her, but she was blinded by it that it made her kind of horrible (in my opinion).
Thank goodness Sienna and Aiden have really wonderful friends that go above and beyond.
Also the final karmic revenge at the end? *chef’s kiss*
I think I this series is fun and easy to read and while I’m happy everyone gets there happy endings and love, it was nice to see some actual karma happen!

I'm back again, this time with the fourth and final book in The Karma Club series.
This series has been so much fun!
There have been 4 interconnected books written by different authors which follow the lives of these 4 strangers brought together by past relationship traumas.
You may have seen my reviews for books 1, 2 and 3 - The Payback Plan by Amy Andrews - back in April - How To Get Even by Pippa Roscoe - which I read in May - and The Puck Stops Here by Rachael Stewart, read in June.
I've been really enjoying this little series and it was great to back with the girls and their plans of revenge, but also a little sad that I'd now be leaving them all.
It was great to see all the girls (and their new partners) back together for the wedding of the year.
Spoilers if you haven't read the previous book yet!
When Astrid didn't quite manage her task to get revenge on Aiden, Sienna spotted her chance to seek her own revenge - but maybe karma (and her friends) have other ideas.
I absolutely loved how this story flowed on nicely from what we already knew about the characters.
It deals with some really tough topics but watching the pair talk through these and support each other, bringing them back together again.
As emotional as this one was, we still see some great fun moments with all the banter - as well as some spice too.
Once again, this was an easy and fun read - perfect for the summer months and the perfect ending to this series.

The ladies of the Karma club are all together again on a Mediterranean island for the week long celebrations of the wedding of Blake and Astrid. The new plan is for Sienna to get her own payback against Aiden, well that’s what Sienna thinks anyway – the others may have a slightly different plan up their sleeves!
I thoroughly enjoyed this final instalment of the Karma club. It’s been a real pleasure following all the characters, the four original members and their exes, as they grow, learn, take risks and fly. Above all it’s been a story of love, support, loyalty and fun.
