Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the review copy. This was a funny, fast-paced and enjoyable read! If you were looking for a cozy fantasy with witchy vibes and a suddenly sentient donkey (who is mildly depressed about said sentience) then look no further!

Wow, this book was quite a fairytale for adults if I may say so, I am not someone who often reads fantasy. I enjoyed this book for the pace and the wittiness – if that is even a word, but then again... Isabella Nagg and the Pot of Basil is full of new to me words that I am guessing the author mostly came up with herself :)
