All that you love about a Hard Case Crime novel all wrapped up in a well crafted graphic novel.
I have to admit, I've been a fan of the Hard Case Crime imprint for some time. I'll admit because of this I'm maybe a little biased, but aren't we all.
Anyways this graphic novel has everything you'd expect, raunchy moment, plenty of scandal and witty, quick fire dialog.
I think I'm in love ❤️
Oh wait, don't forget the amazing Lovecraftian aspects of this publication, simply delicious!

The first Minky Woodcock that I've read and it was very enjoyable. It was a quick read and pulled together a lot of tales from the era around WWII. The artwork was in keeping with this era and fitted the story very well. I'd certainly consider reading other works in this series.

This was my first Minky Woodcock graphic novel but let me tell you as soon as I started it I ran (well opened google) and got the first two to read. I adored this graphic novel. I’m not sure what I loved more the storyline, the characters (particularly Minky) or the fantastic pin-up-esque art style but I can say that it was an instant hit for me. Seeing real life characters in the comic just added to my enjoyment. It’s fun, has a nice mix of action and intrigue and is, of course, sexy as well.
I will definitely be getting these in physical format as soon as possible. A perfect mix of strange and weird tales, old school detective novels and a little bit of sexy as well.
As always thank you to Titan Books for the advanced copy to review, my reviews are always honest and freely given.

This was a good read but only gave it four stars as it didn't fully gripped me, but still was a fun read.

This is a comic book you have to read in paper as it's hard to appreciated the details in e-book. i loved the drawings, a mix of art noveau/Crepax and 70s erotic comics (that was my impression).
The mystery with horror elements and erotica was good and it's recommended
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This is a very differently toned comic than I’m use to reading. Artistic expressive fiction mixed with historical true facts, drawing a very different from average Minky Woodcock PI into a story with Lovecraft and well know people he’s meant to have met. (You immediate recognise them as they enter the drawn page.) Very different but also definitely fun. Thank you to Titan Books and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.
