I love these book club kits! This one includes an author interview, discussion questions, bookmarks specific to the book, foods and drinks that go with the book, documentaries to be watched to add to the experience, what to read next, and an about the author section. These can add to the experience of reading the book, and questions to help further think about the story. It is nice to read with a bookmark that "matches" the story, especially when you can share food and drink with friends during the discussions.
I highly recommend using the book club kits whenever they are available, especially when they come from We Are Bookish!
I was given the opportunity to try the Book Club Kit for Worth Fighting For, by NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.

Out of this series of five books this was probably my fourth favorite so three were better than this one. The book club kit was not super helpful or in depth. Thank you for this advanced copy.

This was a very useful book club kit! Such great ideas and questions to emerge you and your club in a book!

I like that there are links to the instructions for the games, recipes and book club kits for the other books in the series. The recipes for snacks, drinks and games for a book club make this really fun! The author interview answers a question I had after reading the story, about how jarring it can be adjusting to the idea of Mushu being Mulan's female cousin, as well as some other interesting author insights.

This was really cool! I really liked this book club kit! It can be challenging know where to start a book discussion, and this kit gave a lot of great tools and suggestions. There were things invited that I wouldn't have thought if but that I really appreciated. With the materials provided, it really encourages the reader to get even deeper into the book and truly examine it. I loved the activities, trivia, discussion questions, and interview with the author, plus the other goodies sprinkled in there. I appreciated the content warnings and the resource information as well. This is a great kit!! I'd definitely recommend this for libraries and book clubs.

I really loved this book. It was a feel good empowering romance with an awesome heroine and swoony hear. It was emotional but also sweet. They give you something you want in a relationship

This toolkit is excellent and packed with useful information—very handy and informative throughout!
This toolkit is super useful, informative, and well-designed—a must-have for anyone getting started!

Huge thanks to NetGalley and We Are Bookish for this magical Book Club Kit! ✨
My romance book club is reading Worth Fighting For this month, and this kit is a total lifesaver! The printable bookmarks, discussion questions, “Bits & Sips,” and yes—even Mulan trivia—had me Disney princess fan-girling HARD. 👑💖
It’s packed with fun, easy-to-use ideas that’ll make our meeting extra special. I already know my group is going to love every minute of it. Five stars all around! 🌟📚🍵

This will be a great resource and super helpful for book clubs or read along when reading this book.

This book club kit is a wonderful resource for any group looking to enhance their reading experience! It includes thoughtful discussion questions that help guide meaningful conversations and encourage deeper reflection on the story. The additional materials add a layer of richness that makes each meeting more engaging. Personally, having a well-crafted kit like this makes me more excited to recommend a book for our club—especially when it fits the mood or genre we’re in the mood for. It’s a total game-changer for keeping book club gatherings organized, enjoyable, and insightful!

Book club kits always help me enhance my reading experience. These are perfect to use for your local book club but I also enjoy doing these aline. They give you extra materials, questions, and fun activities to keep it going.

This is perfect for a summer book club group. I like the printables for all the books and questions for groups. I will be using all of these for each book. I hope more publishers do this.

This was my first Book Club Kit review and I thought it was great guide for readers and book clubs to discuss "Worth Fighting For." I thought the resources and discussion questions, including those from the author, facilitated the discussion well. Including interviews with the authors are great ways to build on the discussion in a book club and incorporate what an author is intending. The recommendations for next reads, recipes, and other books by Jesse Q. Sutanto were great as well!

This is a great book club kit! I loved reading about the author's childhood memories of watching Disney's Mulan and why it was so meaningful to her. The questions, games, recipes, and suggestions for what to read next all sound amazing and I can't wait to share all of this with my book club. I would love to see kits like this for other books!

I love this idea of having a book club kit for a popular book. The author interview was great and would bring up good discussion points. Then of course, discussion questions were included that were to the point and not overly complicated themes. I loved the Bites and Sips section with ideas for serving at your book club meeting!
Thanks to Net Galley for the opportunity to read this for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

This kit was great. It has a little of everything to help you understand and discuss the book deeper. I love the bookmarks so much.

Our book club is so excited to eat through the Meant to Be series together over the summer! We are starting off strong with If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy and then will continue on through all five. I was so excited to find this kit available on NetGalley! This guide has it all and is similarly structured to the guides for the other books but with new activities to keep it fun if you are reading the whole series like we are: author interview, 12 different discussion questions, cute crafts like making bookmarks, a cute Mulan trivia that is reminiscent of Seventeen magazine quizzes from my childhood, food and drink recipes, activity suggestions, and suggestions for future books to read.

Though this is not the actual book, it contains the author's interview. It's interesting to know the story behind any book.

I have read a few of these Book Club kits and all of them have been great. Once again, this particular book wasn’t familiar to me, so my opinion of the book truly didn’t affect my opinion of this kit.
I liked having information about The Meant to Be Collection right at the beginning. This collection of reimagined fairytales wasn’t familiar to me beforehand, and I don’t think I’ve read anything from Disney Publishing before, but I will check these out.
Again, loved having content warnings right at the beginning and I always love the author interviews. The discussion questions seemed interesting and something that will probably inspire discussion. The questions seemed multi-dimensional and something that will make you actually think about the storyline and characters on a deeper level.
The printable bookmarks were cute and I love the bites & sips section. I personally just wish that the recipes would be in the kit itself instead of just links to different websites.
Mulan trivia was a nice addition. It’s been a while since I’ve watched Mulan so at least for me those weren’t easy questions.
The activities seemed fun, though axe throwing might be a bit of a risqué one. I always like the what to read next, about the author, and more from this author sections at the end.

WORTH FIGHTING FOR by Jesse Q. Sutanto was a LibraryReads Hall of Fame selection for June. Part of a five book series (Meant to Be) about Disney heroines by different authors, it is a rather obvious retelling of Disney's Mulan set in the present-day financial world.
I also saw a preview of a 20 page Book Club Kit for WORTH FIGHTING FOR which included an author interview, printable bookmarks, and discussion questions. Apparently designed for adults (the "Bites & Sips" section references a cocktail made with bourbon and banana liqueur), I am surprised that an adult book group would choose a title like this, especially when they could read a classic like The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston or Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See or even immigrant stories like Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan or Girl in Translation by Jean Kwok (or maybe, if the book club wanted an adventure with a more young adult feel Spin the Dawn or Flame in the Mist or Divine Rivals) instead.
