Wolf.e was my first book by Paisley Hope. I have her cowboy romance books on my tbr but this looked right up my street, plus it’s been a while since I’ve read an MC romance. I love the cover for this book, it’s what originally caught my eye. Its the perfect mix of vintage bodice ripper style cover art thst appears with a modern element.
This is a true motorcycle club romance, with opposites attract, very alpha male energy. Brinley is working hard to get her promotion. Dealing with her sleazy boss is one of the things on her list of things to handle. After she is let go and propositioned by her boss, Brin is excited for the special dinner her long term boyfriend has arranged, and she suspects he is about to propose. Unfortunately for Brin, he announces a promotion and plan to move to NYC – without her. Finally sick and tired of being treated like rubbish, Brin ends tje relationship and returns to her hometown to start her life again. After running into her childhood best friend Layla oh her hen do (bachelorette) for those in America, Brin discovers Layla is totally different from the debutante teen she knew years ago. As her wedding to MC bad boy Ax approaches , Brin is thrown, albeit apprehensively, into MC life meeting President Wolfe, a scary ex-military man who runs the MC in her local town. Brin grew up being warned about the local club, about how dangerous they were. Now her friend is fully immersed in that life, Brin finds herself gravitating towards mysterious Pres Wolfe who also feels a connection with picture perfect Brinley.
As Brin witnesses some club activity, her choices are limited and she becomes engrossed in club life, and her developing relationship with Wolfe.
This book was fun to read. I found the insta love between the pair quite lacklustre. There was no tension, or build up. It was incredibly spicy, I think the love scenes became the primary focus throughout the book. Although a lot was happening within the plot, the primary focus was their romance. By the end Brin was a completely different character to the one introduced at tje start. I enjoyed her growth in confidence but she lost her original qualities.
I think of you’re interested in this book for MC lore and the nitty gritty of dangerous life then this may not be the perfect book. If you’re after spice, spice and a little more spice with a side of motorcycles and growly, grunting male characters then you may enjoy it.
Thank you for the eARC!

Wolf.e by Paisley Hope is a dark and addictive biker romance. The story follows Brinley, a good girl with a soft heart, and Gabriel Wolfe, the dangerous and morally grey president of the Hounds of Hell motorcycle club. They’re complete opposites, but their connection is instant and impossible to ignore.
What I loved most was Brinley’s growth, she starts off quiet and reserved but slowly finds her strength and voice, while Wolfe is all danger, obsession, and protectiveness. The chemistry between them is intense, full of tension, and the spice is definitely top tier. But beyond the heat, the plot was engaging, with just the right mix of grit, romance, and emotion.
If you enjoy motorcycle romances with spice, passion, and strong characters , this one is for you.
Very grateful to the publisher for my copy through NetGalley, opinions are my own

Wolf.e is a very hot, sexy, and easy read despite the dark moments of the motorcycle club. It was my first MC book, and it won't be my last!
Brinley's nerves really helped ease me into the world, and I enjoyed her character development. It was also great to see Wolfe softening as the book went on.
Really enjoyed it, and looking forward to the next books in the series!
4.25/5

Wolf.e is a dark romance based around a motorcycle club, but as with Paisley Hope’s cowboy romances it didn’t disappoint!
I rated this one 4.5* (rounded up for the platform) as it was such a good introduction to motorcycle club romances. The story follows the FMC Brinley a designer and MMC Gabriel Wolfe the President of the Hounds of Hell motorcycle club and are complete opposites. However, a connection developed that they couldn’t escape from.
I love the FMC’s character arc where she developed over the course of the book from the good girl to a strong slightly sassy woman who speaks her mind yet still keeps her feminine side. This development is all thanks to Wolfe who is morally grey, oozes danger with touch her and die vibes.
The story is well paced with lots of tension between the main characters, plenty of spice yet still delivers on the plot. It is over 400 pages, but it doesn’t feel like it as you just get so absorbed in the story and the HEA is chef’s kiss!
If you want a dark romance with plot, great character arcs and plenty of spice then this is for you!

This review is for Wolf.e by Paisley Hope which releases in the UK on the 28th August! Thanks so much to Netgalley and Evermore for giving me an eArc copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I’m already a massive fan of Paisley from her Silver Pines series and was intrigued when I saw this was coming out. It looked and sounded a little bit darker, so I thought I would give it a try.
Let’s just say, that I don’t think dark romance is for me. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think this book was super dark and there is a lot darker out there, it’s just a genre that I don’t think I will enjoy. Most of this book was also literally them fucking… and don’t get me wrong I love a little bit of good smut in my books, but when the actual plot is about 10% of the book, it’s just a bit meh. However the spice was spicing 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 👀 so if you love a darker romance you will probably love this!
I didn’t really connect with the characters too much, although I did love how sassy the FMC became once she became more confident. It was all just a bit insta-lusty, which isn’t usually for me anyway.
Overall it was not a bad book tbh, just more spice than plot. It’s just made me realise that dark romance is probably not for me, however if you do like that genre or aren’t too sure about it, this would be a great starter book!

Huge thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for my honest review, here we go: If Sons of Anarchy went darker, grittier, and way heavier on the romance, you’d get Wolf.e by Paisley Hope. This book doesn’t just roll in on two wheels, it crashes right into your reading life with smoking tires, a trail of fire, and enough tension to set the whole town ablaze.
We’ve got Brinley, the good girl who’s just moved back to her hometown after a breakup, and Gabriel Wolfe, the tattooed, dark-haired MC president trying to do some good in a bad world. Their spark? Instant and fiery. Once they collide, there’s no slowing down. And let’s talk spice: this isn’t a sprinkle, it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet. Morning? Spice. Afternoon? Spice. Midnight? Yep, still spice. Just don’t read this in public unless you’re okay with turning the color of… blood? Which fittingly, Wolfe is obsessed with. (Seriously, everyone in this book bleeds, and somehow he still makes it a love language…)
I will say: while I loved the romance and the gritty atmosphere, I wanted a bit more from the club itself. Most of the MC characters felt more like background noise than the found-family chaos I was craving. On the flip side, Brinley’s friendship with Layla was a real highlight, it added some warmth and balance to all the danger and intensity.
Overall, Wolf.e is gritty, raw, and hotter than the asphalt in this summery August. If you’re ready for a romance that rides hard, brakes never, and leaves tire marks all over your heart, then it’s time to hop on and hold tight! I devoured it and am already itching for the next book to see where this wild ride will take us.

Thank you to NetGalley and Cornerstone for an ARC of this book!
Unfortunately this book just wasn't for me. I felt like the plot was lacking - and instead the book seemed to be driven by spice scenes. For me there personally, I didn't feel like there was any chemistry between the characters, as an emotional connection was lacking. But I do think this will be a good read for a lot of other people (so don't let this put you off!!)
However, I LOVE the cover - the artwork is stunning!!

I love Paisley's other work but unfortunately this one wasn't for me and I DNF'd. I think it will work for a lot of other people though so don't let that put you off.
It's smut heavy which is fine but I wanted just a bit more plot and I also found Brinley a tad annoying. It was heavy on the insta lust but I didn't really feel any chemistry.
The cover is absolutely stunning though.

Sons of Anarchy meets the Ravenhood series.
This was exciting, tense, and just all round addictive.
Paisley Hope you have instantly become a favourite of mine. What a ride this was! I am obsessed to the point that not even half way through I was frantically checking if they're would be more in this series. I cannot get enough.
The character development in this is fantastic.
I loved Brinley's (FMC) transformation from good girl, as she finds herself and what she wants, growing confident and strong. How her opinions change as she spends time with the club, challenging everything she's been taught to believe.
Wolfe (MMC) being the emotionless and ruthless president of the Hounds of Hell motorcycle club, becoming instantly obsessed with Beinley. Even though he can't understand it, for the first time in his life opening up to someone. His character has such depth that we slowly get to know as Brinley gets closer to him.
The sass on Brinley from the beginning is top tier. Her smart mouth, biting back at Wolfe any chance she gets when no one else would ever dare challenge him.
The chemistry between these two is intense and the spice! The spice is perfect. Paisley delivers so much tension with the heat. The danger brought by the motorcycle club setting is heightened with the retaliation from a rival club which added a bit more to the plot.
I felt the flashbacks from Wolfe added to his character and we got to know him on a more personal level from these.
Tropes and content includes:
Motorcycle club romance, good girl FMC, ex-military MMC, age gap (8 years), touch her and die, blood play, knife play.
I am so excited for the next installment - Dove, following Layla and Sean prior to the events of Wolf.e. I've seen that there are three books confirmed in this series so far, and to be honest I would read ten if Paisley writes them. I can already tell this is going to be one of my favourite series.
Thank you so much to Evermore, Random house Cornerstone for this advanced copy.

Thank you to the publisher for giving me an e-arc to review.
Rating 3.5 stars.
I feel like this book started out really well, it had a decent-ish plot and I was pretty intrigued to kind of find out more about the whole biker dynamic however when you hit like 26% it is literally just smut with a side of plot.
It was written really well however this amount of smut just got boring and it was pretty obvious that Brinley was going to be the woman that changed Wolfe’s life.
Overall it was an okay read but I probably won’t be reading the next one’s in the series.

I’m so shocked at how much I loved this! I don’t like insta love in books but everything else made up for that, genuinely couldn’t put the book down. Never read a motor cross book before and definitely want to read more now! SO fun and entertaining but also has depth, loved and would definitely recommend.

I really liked the story in this. I liked seeing Gabriel open up to Brinley and watching her become the person she wanted to be. This is a dark romance and I liked that it wasn't as dark as some things I've read but there was way too much spice for me I would've liked more plot and more of the romance between the characters to really connect with them.

Wow…
I knew from the first few pages that this was going to be a five star read! Wolf.e is a MC club romance between the president Gabriel and good girl Brinley.
After breaking up with her boyfriend, Brinley arrives back in her hometown to find her childhood best friend getting married to a member of the towns MC. Despite wanting to avoid anything to do the club, Brinley finds herself in deep, catching the eyes and heart of the President.
It was enjoyable to see Brinley come out of her shell whilst Gabriel learned to allow himself to let her in. This was a dark and spicy addictive romance (check the trigger warnings!) which has left me highly anticipating the next book.

Having read Ms Hope’s Silver Pines novels, I was well aware of the type of book I was reading. Again, this is dark romance and incredibly graphic in both the “romance” scenes and the violence scenes.
Again, the premise is bad boy falls for good girl and makes her fall in love with him.
Although I don’t think k this will every win any literary awards, the book was easy to read in the most part, but if you’ve never read her book before prepare to ride the roller coaster that is her style of writing

⭐ 4.75 stars | 🌶 3.5 spice
Paisley Hope delivers another addictive romance with her first in her new MC dark-romance series ‘Wolf.e’. This story is everything intense, emotional, and downright steamy (those bike scenes? Hot, hot, hot).
Gabriel isn’t your typical hero MMC he is possessive, unapologetically alpha, yet surprisingly vulnerable. Brinley’s transformation from sheltered “good girl” to strong women is incredible!!
If you’re ready to ride with the Hounds of Hell and lose yourself in dark, delicious chaos, this one is a must-read.

I think this book might be the perfect dark MC romance novel. I was very un-casually blown away by the entirety of this book. I have read books from this author before but this, as a dark romance reader this is the pinacol of the genre for me. It’s brash, in your face and doesn’t apologise for it. If you’re coming from the Silver Pines Series and expecting more of that I would say buckle up, you are in for the shock of your life. If you’re here for the dramatics and the hell of an MC then strap in because this is a good one.
We start with Brinley on what I can only assume is the worst day of her life, the company where she works is dissolved and then trying to make the best of it, she goes to what she thinks is a proposal dinner with her boyfriend which turns out to be more of announcement for him then her. Brinley trying to convince herself that she should be grateful for all she has is the first sign that this book is going to be gutting, if you have to tell yourself, you are not happy. As she has no other viable options, she heads back to her childhood home in her for the first time since her parents passed, stopping off on the way she runs into her childhood best friend Layla, who is on her hen do.
It becomes obvious to Brinley pretty quickly that Layla is under the protection of the local Motorcycle Club and that she must be marrying one of their members, which she isn’t exactly welcoming with open arms, she is overly judgmental about this at one point theorising that it’s probably best Layla’s parents are dead so they wouldn’t have to see her marry a biker but Layla is having none of it. Brinley and Layla were raised the same way, in the same church with the same judgement coming from their parents and community about the less than savoury clubs in the town. Layla does in fact know better now and manages to convince an unwilling Brinley to attend her wedding.
Cue the wedding activities, Brinley is thrown into the MC world. She does manage to keep her judgement to herself for the most part and her awe at how the wedding rehearsal venue is actually nice is comical. Did she think they were going to get married in a ditch or something? Enter Wolfe, the MC President. He is for lack of a better words hot as hell and controlled to an alarming rate and yet Brinley can’t stop looking at him. Then we flip to Wolfe’s pov and despite his aversion to commitment, her obsession is absolutely nothing in comparison, he just happens to have himself in check. I’ve seen a few people saying this book was too ‘insta-love’ for them, but I felt it was more insta-lust than anything else, which is completely reasonable if you ask me.
Things progress between the two a little, until the night of the wedding reception where Brinley walks in on the club doing some ‘motorcycle activities’, The rest of the club expect Wolfe to kill her to prevent her from snitching but instead decides to make her his. There is a big theme throughout this book of Wolfe attempting to protect and shield Brinley and her behaving like a brat who can ‘protect herself’ but the thing is she literally can’t. I hate to be on the side of a man but there are multiple threats against Brinley’s life here and yes, maybe it might not be amazing to not live your life how you want to for a few weeks but it’s better than being dead. I just don’t think she understands at all.
As things move on their goals align a little more and let me tell you, I just had a great time reading this book. It was fun, the spicy scenes were intense and somehow interesting. Wolfe is dominant throughout every aspect of his life and I cannot deny that his protectiveness and leadership was hot throughout. I understand Brinley but I don’t always agree with her. The only glaring issue I really did have with any of the characters was that later on in the book, Brinley got furious anytime anyone is perceived to be ‘looking down’ on the motorcycle club, yet she was doing the same just weeks earlier. I get that this can be annoying but is it not understandable seems as you yourself have done the exact same thing due to the same ignorance.
The back half of this book was intense; there are twists and turns I wasn’t expecting. The ending was phenomenal. I loved how the flashback scenes in Wolfe’s timeline fed into the current events and that everyone truly fell into line when it came down to it. There is also a very big found family aspect here that I think if under appreciated within this trope.
Overall, this book was just a trip. I had so much fun reading it. I also liked that the epilogue was a significant jump. I’m getting fed up of the one year later, we’re about to have a baby epilogue, when no one wanting to have kids was every mentioned, this was a twist on that and it made it gold. I’m already excited to read Dove next year when it comes out! Layla is already such a good, well rounded character and to knowing we get to dive into the beginning of her and Axe’s relationship and the first encounter with the MC with no allies will be very interesting. There you go folks; Paisley can do it all!

uhmm wow. i am so glad i listened to this on audio as well, sean masters and meg sylvan are SO GOOD together!! this easily became a new favorite dark romance for me. i’m so happy to be back in my motorcycle romance era.
5 stars 4 chilis

As a keen fan of Paisley Hope's Silver Pines Ranch series, I snapped up the chance to read Wolf.e early. This book is the first in a series set around a motorcycle gang and it's safe to say it's a totally different vibe! On the surface, it's altogether less wholesome, more mysterious, a lot darker and a good bit spicier. Behind the violent and criminal activities of the motorcycle gang however, the characters aren't quite as bad as they seem, their endeavours have a 'do-good' edge and there is, of course, a warm and welcoming found family and plenty of good banter. It didn't take long for me to be hooked on the mystery and unfolding romance but this one might not be for everyone so it's be best to check the trigger warnings before picking it up (the list is long). If you're looking for an addictive read and you're happy with more spice, less plot, like it dark and don't mind a little violence and blood play, then this one's for you.

Gabriel Wolfe is the perfect morally grey anti-hero, and Brinley’s journey from “good girl” to someone who fully embraces her own fire made this such a fun read. Their chemistry is undeniable, equal parts dangerous and tender, and the “touch her and die” energy was spot on.
The MC world adds grit and intensity, with just enough action and suspense to keep the stakes high. While the spice sometimes takes the spotlight over the plot, the emotional connection between Wolfe and Brinley still shines through, making their story feel more than just heat.
If you love dark romance, protective MMCs, and heroines who come into their power, this one will grab you and not let go. A thrilling start to the series, and I will definitely be picking up the next book.

I loved this one so so much!! The cover drew me in immediately and it definitely delivered. I had such a good time reading this and while it definitely had its dark moments and quite a fair amount of spicy scenes, it also had an enjoyable storyline which kept me entertained.
It’s just exactly what I expected of a dark romance centred around a motor club and I already can’t wait to read more of this series once it comes out!
