This was my first biker club romance and honestly? It did not disappoint.
If you like your MMCs dark, dangerous, and so obsessed it borders on feral—Gabriel Wolfe is your guy. He’s all chaos, control, and “I’ll burn the world down for you” energy. And the heroine? Total contrast. Soft but strong, and definitely not ready for the storm she walks into.
It’s got:
✔️ Biker club vibes
✔️ All the spice (like… a lot)
✔️ Alpha male intensity turned up to 11
✔️ Dark themes and gritty moments
✔️ That slightly too fast insta-lust but you kinda roll with it
Was it wild? Yes. Was it over the top? Also yes. But it was fun—a great entry point if you’re curious about darker romance with obsessive MMCs and lots of heat. Buckle up, because this ride does not slow down.

This was my first biker/dark romance but as a fan of Paisley Hope's cowboy romances, I thought I'd give it a go and I was not disappointed!

I loved Brinley and Gabriel, watching their relationship develop outside of all the spice. Brinley becoming stronger and more confident and Gabriel learning to let his walls down and let someone in. It was insta lovey which i know some people don't like, I personally don't mind it.

If you're a fan of Sons of Anarchy, you're going to love this!

Paisley Hope's first foray into Biker romance is much darker than her previous books, but she handles the change very well, creating questionable characters that you still root for.

Paisley Hope, the author of Wolf.e has become quite a big name in the romance sphere, with Wolf.e being her first foray into Biker Romance. So sure! I wanted to see what all the hype was about, but sadly? I was let down. I didn't really get on with Wolf.e at all.

It's unoffensive for the most part. (In that those who enjoy male centred porn tropey smut will enjoy it). The book has no story line, no great or interesting characters. Nothing that separates it from the rest of the Biker romance category. (Which admittedly, I do still like most of the time). It's like this blend of several ticked checklists and offers nothing but sameness.

Wolfe was so cringe. Brinley was a blank piece of Y/N. I didn't buy any of it. The sex scenes, or, almost every scene, had zero chemistry. It was heavy on the "porn", but lacking on the "heat", if you understand where I'm coming from.

Many people will enjoy it for what it's worth. But ultimately, it really lacked identity, scope, character, story, and it's worst crime -- real, heat filled lust.

First I want to thank NetGalley for giving this wonderful opportunity to read this book ! 🙏🏻

One of the things I want to begin with is the cover of the book 😁 How STUNNING it is ! I wish there were more books like this.. The art of the cover for me shows and how love and devotion showed the author for the book too and I really appreciate it . Before I talk about the plot and the characters I want to mention that this is my first biker club romance and thanks to this book I will continue read these type of books. The Wolf.e is a great introduction to the world of dark romance and this specific genre (biker romance), so if you want a really good start I think you should read this !

As for the characters I really liked how our FMC goes through a self discovery and found real friends and family ❤️ So there is a character development we watch her turn from a damsel in distress to a BADASS queen 🥹 The MMC is possessive and so obsessed with her he doesn't want her to be helpless so teaches her how to fight and shoot a gun ! That made the difference to me in comparison to other dark romances
As for the plot it was new to me cause as I mentioned earlier I haven't read anything similar to this book !
I will definitely want to read about their best friends who got married their story seems so cute 🥰 or a spin off with their children!
At last I think it is important to point that yes they are a club who does illegal activities BUT they help people! They have labs to create dr$gs that are lighter for people in rehab !

Holy bike club.

I love that I know exactly what I’m getting with a book written by Paisley, romance, a bad boy, a good girl and a lot of spice, seriously it was a lot of spice 🥵❤️‍🔥

I devoured this book it was giving sons of anarchy energy and I was eating it up.

I always find Paisley’s writing so easy to read, the pacing was great and I usually hate insta love as a trope, but I loved it here, it just worked.

Was Wolfe a walking talking giant red flag, yes. Should Brinley run a mile, yes. But this is fiction and a romance so of course we love that they’re a perfect match. His bad boy just got eyes for her was *chefs kiss* and seeing their passion and connection develop was so gorgeous.

Overall, loved it, had the best time, can’t wait to read book two!!

Thanks so much to Evermore & NetGalley for the arc 💕

This book was action packed and full of spice!

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House UK for the ARC!

I do love a MMC with a touch her and d*e mentality.

Absolutely loved the relationship between Gabriel and Brinley. Passion in spades and who doesn’t love a sexy biker. 😍

Loved seeing the development of both of these characters and how this developed naturally through the story.

This has drama, possessive MMC, bratty FMC and Josh a whole lot of great moments.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this. 🫶🏻💕

I love love loved it!
This book gives series sons of anarchy vibes. It’s giving touch her and d*e, bad boy x good girl, forced proximity, found family and more. The plot was good with a few twists and turns, and the spice was top tier. I would definitely recommend this book. Thankyou to the authors team for an Arc copy.

If you've read HOLDING THE REINS by Paisley Hope then be prepared for a complete 180. Gabriel Wolfe and Nash Carter are polar opposites - instead of the sweet-talking cowboy, we have the dark and dirty-talking President of the Hounds of Hell. Oh, and Wolfe is pierced too...
Paisley never fails to blow me away with her writing - I've said it many times before, she's an absolute sweetheart and fast becoming an author whose books I will read without even thinking. Gabriel and Brinley will have you hooked from the first page right until the very last.

This book is such a good book for people wanting to get into dark romance! I am not sure how i felt about the insta love but I did really enjoy this

I’m not sure if I finished this book or if it finished me 🥵

Gabriel Wolfe has me in a chokehold! Every single thing that came out of that man’s mouth had me kicking my feet like a schoolgirl with a crush 😍😂!!

He’s broody, morally black and doesn’t believe love exists. He’s the stoney faced president of a motorbike gang who doesn’t take orders from anyone, that is; until Brinley Beaumont drops into his life and turns it upside down 🥹

This story was filled with passion, darkness and a possessive and dominant MMC who will burn the world down for the sassy woman he loves 🤤

I loved everything about this book and highly recommend adding it to your TBR! 📖

Tropes:
🖤 - Dark Romance
⛓️- Forced Proximity
🏍️- MC Romance
❤️‍🔥- Bad Boy / Good Girl

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a fan of Paisley's cowboy books, the moment I realised there was going to be a Motorcycle Club series, I couldn't wait 😍

Gabriel Wolfe, our morally grey MMC and the president of the Hounds of Hell MC! He's dark, possessive, and crazy as hell, but that's why we love him 🥵

Then we have Brinley Rose Beaumont, the good girl! After her strict sheltered upbringing, she wanted more for herself, and boy, did she find it with Gabriel!

I loved the growth these characters had! Brinley coming out of her shell and turning into a badass MC queen was probably one of my favourite things about this book 😍 Well that and the spice 🌶

The chemistry and banter between them is great, and the way they constantly challenge each other had me hooked!

Also, the spice?? 🥵🥵 Who doesn't love a little chase in the woods with a knife??

If you love your romance a little dark and dangerous, you need to give this a read 🖤

3.5⭐️

This book is intense, dark, violent and thrilling, and possibly the spiciest book I’ve read to date. Filled with rival motorbikers, a touch-her-and-d*e MMC and plenty of tension, plus a gorgeous front cover 😍

This was the kind of book you just fly through. But therefore I also found it the kind of book that was slightly lacking in character development. I didn’t feel like enough time was spent between our main characters before all the spice began, so found myself not really connecting to them or believing in their love story. There were also some parts to the spicy scenes that just weren’t for me, but I know for sure some of you are gunna love it 👀 different strokes for different folks and all that 😂

A fun and thrilling read, perfect if you’re after turning up the heat this summer with a tatted biker!

Thank you to NetGalley and Cornerstone for the ARC.

Wolfe and Brinley were amazing- this story was amazing. I literally just finished it and I can’t form any words or coherent thoughts. It’s like Sons of anarchy meets haunting Adeline.

I had no idea what I was getting into when I picked up this book, I hadn't read any of Paisley Hope's previous books but I was absolutely blown away. This was my first time journeying into the world of motorcycle gangs, I had read lots of Mafia romances and I assumed it would be similar but I was very wrong. This was such a great time. Paisley Hope has honestly written when of the best dark romance books I have ever read.

I was not ready for how spicy this book was going to be either, so definitely check your triggers before going into it (of course).

If you like forced proximity, good girl x bad boy, opposites attract and super darrrrk books! Wolf.e is for you! It is a series as well so there is another book coming out sometime in the near future! I would highly recommend this to anyone who reads H.D Carlton and Shantel Tessier!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher, random house UK cornerstone, for allowing me to read this ARC.

This was a quick and spicy read.

Brinley and Wolfe had quite the instant love relationship which made me not feel connected deeply to either character. It seemed like their relationship didn’t evolve beyond the physical and I was yearning for them to show some more emotional depth strengthening their bond.

I also found myself skipping through the smut in the end as it was repetitive and I was craving more of the plot.

Overall though, it was an enjoyable, fast-paced read.

Firstly, thank you so much for sending me a copy of wolf.e early.
I absolutely adored this more than I should! Who knew a biker gang romance would be so good.
Paisley, I wish I could meet a guy in your books!
