I really enjoyed this book, it was my first biker book in s while and gosh it was so good! I did find that it dragged a little so I lost some interest towards the end. The suspense was so good! I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

Thank you for the ARC Netgalley, Random House UK, Cornerstone & Evermore - all opinions are my own.

This book follows Brinley, a designer, and Gabriel Wolfe, leader of Harmony's MC, who meet when Brinley's friend Layla invites her to her rehearsal dinner. Both of them have seen each other at least once but don't talk until that night.

I haven't read a motorcycle romance book before but I have read another book by this author. This had the same digestible writing and lovable found family that would grasp any reader's heart.

The spice was well-written but also more than I was expecting and at times I felt it overshadowed the plot a bit. They were very active and there's nothing wrong with that but the pace of which they jumped into bed and fell in love was faster than I would've liked. I enjoyed the chemistry they had and it was communicated through the page very well. I did like that they got to know each other, cared for one another and talked which made them feel real and I appreciate when author's do that in books.

There was a particular scene that had me gaping. I'm not going to spoil what it is but my reaction was to keep reading because I couldn't believe that had happened. It was those kind of moments that had me flying through the book and I really liked that element of it. The motorcycle club was interesting to learn about and I was grateful that there was a glossary at the beginning so I understood what they were talking about.

Overall, I would recommend this book, re-read this book, pick up the sequel as well as another of this author's books.

I was instantly hooked by this book, it grabbed me right from the start. The plot kept me glued to the pages, the tension had me on edge, and the spice… let’s just say it did not disappoint. Brinley was such a great FMC, and Gabriel Wolfe completely stole the show for me. I’m a sucker for the bad boy x good girl dynamic, and this one delivered perfectly. Suspenseful, steamy, and addictive- I honestly loved every second.

Binge-read this one in record time because it was giving me everything: dark, dangerous MC vibes, a protective AF anti-hero, and a heroine who finally steps into her bad bitch era. 🔥
_____________

Brinley starts off with Evan – aka Mr Vanilla, who’s “mediocre and occasional” in the bedroom (Layla really said: “Hey, don't bust my friend's chops. She's had two years of mediocre and occasional orgasms.” 💀). She thinks she wants safe, predictable, clean-cut… until she meets Gabriel Wolfe – President of the Hounds of Hell MC and walking temptation.

Wolfe is everything she didn’t know she needed – protective, hot, emotionally unavailable but also so soft for her. The man has rules about never keeping the same woman twice… yet Brinley is suddenly the first woman on his bike, the first in his house, and the first in his heart. I was feral when he said:

“When I make you come, I am your god. The only name you cry out is mine.”

and

“I’m re-born in your name, Brinley Rose. And you in mine.”

🥵 Sir, please.
_____________

Brinley’s character growth is chef’s kiss. She starts out second-guessing herself, moulded by other people’s expectations ( “I’ve had men look at me appreciatively since I was fourteen… why did I have to change to stop a man from looking at me?” ), but by the end she’s choosing herself, embracing her dark side, and absolutely thriving. Wolfe sees that in her from the start:
“I want to find out who Brinley Rose Beaumont is when, for once, she chooses herself… when she finally lets herself be as wicked as she craves.”
_____________

Layla? Absolute ride-or-die bestie. She’s the reason Brinley gets close to the MC in the first place and is constantly in her corner. Sean? Loyal as they come, built like a wall, and the kind of man who shows up with a shovel and doesn’t ask questions 😂
_____________

I did predict the twist, but honestly? Didn’t care. Watching Brinley absolutely wreak havoc afterwards was everything. The tension, the banter, the protectiveness – yes please. Wolfe delivering this much-needed insult to Chelsea absolutely slapped:

“I don’t even remember your fucking name. But if you even look in Brinley’s direction again… I won’t stop her until your face is as battered as your used-up cunt.”
_____________

Only reason it’s not a full 5⭐ is that it leans into insta-love a bit, which isn’t usually my thing – but that’s purely personal preference. If you love fast-burns, you’ll eat this up. I gave it 4.5 stars.
_____________

💭 Final thoughts:
If you want an MC romance with grit, steam, and a heroine who goes from playing nice to ruling the game, this is it. Wolfe will ruin you (and you’ll thank him).

“The way I feel about you, Brinley… you’re the blood in my veins.” ❤️

Thank you so much to the author, publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest opinions.

Honestly paisley hope could write a book with nothing but insults about me and I would eat it up!!
Definitely one of my favourite reads of this year, read the whole book in one sitting just couldn’t put it down!

ARC Review
1.5/5 stars
To be honest, I didn’t like the FMC, nor the MMC. They both irritated me most of the time. I also think the premise of this book was too interesting and intriguing for me to be this bored.
The plot twist was very predictable, and I just didn’t enjoy this book.

The cover is still absolutely stunning.

Wow! I loved this book, Paisley is very new to me, I'm just about to binge everything because I'm loving her writing! She does romance so well (this is her second book I've read) and the depth and character development is amazing!

Gabriel Wolfe is the Hounds of Hell MC Club president and he's secure in being alone and not needing or feeling anything, when you feel, you're weak. Brinley grew up knowing who the HOH were and she knew to stay far away, so when Wolfe spots her and decides he can't stay away, will she survive him, the hardened president and the prim and proper good girl.

There were so many twists and turns and I really loved the characters. I loved that they weren't just superficial and had actual depth to them; they developed well, I loved the strength they both showed. Definitely recommend, can't wait for the next one.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

To say Wolfe is a romance book on the darker side of the genre would be an understatement! I’m not sure I was fully prepared for the amount of spice and intensity in the book! I’ve not read a biker romance before or watched Sons of Anarchy but the book was well researched and I appreciated the glossary at the start.

The book was incredibly fast paced and I enjoyed the subplot plot regarding the 2 rival clubs. There is also lots of tension - both sexual and emotional. However the majority of the book focuses solely on Brinley and Wolfe’s relationship.

I really liked Brinley and her character arc. She is a strong, confident, heroine by the end of the book. Wolfe epitomises the morally grey, touch her and you die MMC. They have a lot of chemistry and although it starts as opposites attract, you see how their personalities gel over the course of the book.

Wolf.e was pretty good! It's the first book I've read set around a motorcycle club so a lot of the terminology was new to me, but I really enjoyed it.

The romance is very insta-lust, I've got no issue with spicy scenes but I would've liked a bit more depth and emotional connection to make it feel genuine.

It is a little thin on the plot because there are so many spicy scenes, I would've liked to see more of the club and the day-to-day running of things. When there was action scenes they were brilliant, you could feel the danger!

can’t say i liked this novel. there were parts i found boring and some i found quite enjoyable. it’s lacking in plot and about half of it was just smut. i was close to dnf after the blood in v part. it was quite a shocker for me. but putting my personal preference aside, the smut was actually written quite well.

this was ridiculous in the best way. we have bikers, warm summer days, tension so hot you could probably cook your eggs on it.
we also have "raised-right" brinley, her starting over in her hometown and grappling with feelings of right and wrong.
the main star of the show is gabriel wolfe though. the words that were coming out of his mouth??? illegal. he goes from quoting classic novels to saying the filthiest, dirtiest things you can imagine, and I was here for it.

Whoa, the spice is spicy!
I wasn't expecting this at all! It's weird because I'm confused as to where to categorize it, like new romance with lots of spice and action or dark romance.
Because at the start, it was clearly an unhealthy attraction between these two, but as it goes on, it's more of a discovery of her true desires for Brinley. She's the typical "good girl" raised in church, but there was always something dark brewing inside her, and this biker will definitely bring it out.
It isn't for the faint of heart, too. I really enjoyed reading this book, and I think I would recommend it for people who want something in the middle of new and dark romance.

I absolutely love Paisley Hope and after reading the Silver Pines series, I was looking forward to reading a dark romance book from her as it's completely different to those.

Iusually love a dark romance and I really did want to love this book too but I just didn't connect with this the way I thought I would. It's a very spicy book so if you're looking for a new spicy read, this is the book for you as you will not be disappointed. However there's not much to the plot of the book and I think that's what was missing for me.

This dark romance follows Brinley and Gabriel. Brinley, is very sheltered and moves back home after a breakup with her longterm boyfriend. She meets an old friend Layla, who invites her to a party where she meet Gabriel. Gabriel, the head of a motorcycle gang is mysterious and intriguing to Brinley. After witnessing a horrific incident she comes under his protection and a relationship develops. This was an interesting read and I think that lovers of dark romance will devour this book.

Thank you to Netgalley for an ARC of Wolf.e by Paisley Hope.
Unfortunately, this book wasn't for me. I wanted more time to get to know the characters, the members of the MC and their back story but the smut and spice dominated. I found myself skipping the pages of never ending spicy scenes to get back to the plot which I was enjoying.
Please check TW before reading.

I literally couldn’t put this down. I started it thinking I would dip in and out of reading in between getting Sunday afternoon chores done (spoiler alert, no chores were accomplished).

This is a quick read, spicy and unhinged in the best way and I devoured it.

If you like dark romance and fast paced plot, this is for you. The motorcycle club aspect was clearly well researched and the glossary of terms at the beginning of the book really helped.

Brinkley’s character development is really fun to read and you’ll love the fearless queen she becomes by the end of the book.

There is so much tension in this book, it will keep you on the edge the entire way through. Happy Reading!

Favourite quotes:

“My ruthless king who won’t bend for anyone but will quote Fitzgerald while washing my hair.”

“He may be an outlaw, but he’s my outlaw and he is everything I could ever want.”

Thank you Paisley Hope, NetGalley and Random House UK for the copy.

Wolfe by Paisley Hope
Wolfe is an addictive, fast paced romance that hooked me right from the start. Paisley Hope delivers a story filled with chemistry, tension, and heartfelt moments that make it impossible to put down. The characters are well drawn and full of personality, and I found myself quickly invested in their journey.
The pacing is spot-on with balancing high energy, page turning scenes with softer, more emotional beats that give the romance real depth. There’s a perfect mix of passion, drama, and tenderness, making Wolfe a thoroughly satisfying read from beginning to end.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves romance with both heat and heart.
Thank you to NetGalley, Random House UK, Cornerstone, and Paisley Hope for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Hands down TOP read for 2025 so far!!

MC romances – I need MORE!!!

“Fuck, I’ve been dreaming about tasting you for hours. Drown me, Brinley.” HOLY HELL!!!! 🤯

Gabriel Wolfe has me in a chokehold! I didn’t have a chance… That man’s mouth!! President of the MC.. Every single thing about him made me weak & dying for more!! GOD of a man!

I admit, I wasn’t Brinley’s biggest fan at the start but by the end I was shouting “YES QUEEN!!!” I am obsessed with how confident she grew with Wolfe’s help… Power couple!!

I found this to be the perfect combination of plot with some of the hottest spice you’ll ever read 🌶️

It’s no secret why Paisley Hope is my favourite author – she constantly delivers!!!

Do yourself a favour & add this to your TBR right now & thank me later..

Now impatiently waiting for Dove to be published… Cannot wait!

- motorcycle club romance
- forced proximity
- good girl x bad boy
- morally grey
- dark romance
- obsessive MMC

Holy-mother-of-all-Gods.

I did not expect to absolutely BINGE this book but wow. I also didn’t know I had a thing for bikers, lol 🤣🫠🥵

This book gave me everything I wanted to read. If you like:

🏍️ MC club
👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻 good girl x bad boy
😇 opposites attract
☠️ kidnapping
🗡️ primal play

Then you will love this book. Brinley breaks up her rich boyfriend and moves back to her hometown to figure out what she wants to do, sort her parents house out that they left when they passed.

She meets her childhood best friend who is getting married and talks her into attending now that she’s home. This is where Brinley is introduced to the club and she meets the most handsome, sexy, inked biker. Brinley and Wolfe have obvious attraction but don’t play into it until something happens and Wolfe has to ‘keep her’ for her safety.

It was a rollercoaster of a read. It was darker than I was anticipating. The smut was on fireeee! 🥵 Wolfe was very dominant and as much as he was a walking red flag for me for quite a lot of the book I also loved him and wouldn’t change him. The ending was gripping. I was on the edge of my seat for Wolfe and Brinley.

I am so lucky to have been given access to this arc from Netgalley. Thank you to Paisley Hope for writing this, I can’t wait to read more and am a huge fan of yours!
