This was such a good book!!! A lot darker than I thought and a lot spicier too... but so good!
Definitely will read more books from Paisley Hope and I just found out there will be another book in this series! Soooo excited!!!

Personally, I enjoy books that have more plot than spiciness or moments where the characters constantly think about each other for sexual reasons... This one didn't meet my expectations in many ways, especially regarding the story, which is practically nonexistent. Almost. Something that also didn't convince me much is the connection between the protagonists, which at times became quite dubious...

That said, it was a quick read, light, entertaining, and it helps you clear your head. It's not THE read, but it helps pass the hours. I think the author has a lot of potential, but I couldn't see it here.

Thank you very much, Random House UK, Cornerstone, for the ARC I read on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

WOLF.E 🏍️

Plot? PERFECTION. Spice? CRIMINALLY GOOD. Did I read this in one sitting? YES I ABSOLUTELY DID.

Ok. The PROLOGUE?! INTENSE and I’m here for it.

“I am the villain she sees now”

Were introduced firstly to our FMC Brinley, she’s an innocent introvert. Brought up in a religous family however she wants more, needs more from her life she’s currently living with partner lawyer Evan.

Brinley breaks up with Evan (thank god) she goes back to her childhood home to clear the house as her mum passed away and to get away from the breakup. She bumps into an old childhood bestie who is out on her hen party however surrounded by the Hounds of Hell and Brinley is cautious (also the groom is apart of the club) Brinley has been invited to her wedding and decides to go.

She glances at Gabriel (our MMC, aka. WOLF.E) from afar then eventually meets him in person at the rehearsal dinner at the club. This is when Brinley and MYSELF BECOME OBSESSED.

MMC Gabriel is a bad boy president of the biker gang - Hounds of Hell. He’s possessive, tattooed up to the nines and super hot.

“Untill my wolf comes to hunt me”

Love the writing the way I feel immediately connected to the characters is making me giddy and excited.

Sorry but, ex military men in a dangerous biker club? Who are insanely sexy and tattooed? YES PLEASE, I have discovered my new obsession. CORRECTION MARINES?!?!?

I am grinning like a Cheshire Cat reading this, totally OBSESSED. NO NOTES.

“No one will look after you the way I will” ARE YOU KIDDING ME

I am undone, there is literally nothing I can say. Everything is perfection to a T.

The development of Brinley from the beginning till the end I just LOVE it and incredibly relatable.

A dark, dirty, and dangerously irresistible novel that pushes your boundaries and makes you forget every warning label

This is a different writing style from Paisley’s usual, but it’s still so good. For your safety, please check the trigger warnings first, this book is full of them, but I devoured every page.

Brinley, our good girl, returns to her hometown after breaking up with her long-time boyfriend. There, she meets Wolfe, a grumpy biker, a leader of a club, and exactly the kind of man her parents warned her about. She knows she should stay away, but she just can’t. As their connection grows, Brinley starts to rediscover parts of herself and desires she didn’t even realize she had.

This book is a dark, action-packed romance. I'd say it's 50% plot, 50% spice, and 100% addictive (LOL). Around the 70% mark, things really shift…it was a total game changer. I loved Brinley’s sass, and honestly, she was so sexy I developed a bit of a girl crush. Her character development felt so natural, and the writing was smooth. The possessiveness? It made her feel real and totally badass. And the chemistry between her and Wolfe? Off the charts.

The ending left me wanting to dive straight into the next book in the series.

If you loved Haunting Adeline or dark romance in general, you need to pick this one up!

Thank you publisher and netgalley for this digital copy, all opinions are my own.

This was such a fun and spicy read!

I’m always a sucker for a broody main character, and Wolfe definitely delivered - some of the things he said had me melting 😮‍💨

That said, I did find myself wishing for a bit more plot. Toward the end, I started skimming through the smut scenes because they started to feel a bit repetitive, and I was craving more plot progression.

While I enjoyed Brinley and Wolfe’s relationship, I didn’t feel deeply connected to either of them. There was a strong dose of insta-lust (which I’m usually fine with), but in this case, it didn’t evolve much beyond the physical. I would’ve loved to see more emotional depth and key moments in their relationship that showed who they are beyond the attraction. Without the physical connection, their bond felt a little underdeveloped.

Overall though, it was an enjoyable, fast-paced read. If you're in the mood for something quick, spicy with a brooding motorcycle club president - this one's worth picking up 🔥

Please read the trigger warnings before reading this book as it is very heavy!
If you watched SoA and loved it you will devour this.
I love it when an FMC grows into their own!!!
Really good story with some seriously good spice, the friendships were great and the loyalty was… phew.
Gabe, dangerous and brooding but what a guy.
I ate this up while I’ve been poorly and loved it!

Okay this wasn't what I was expecting and I'm pleasantly suprised. This was much darker than I was expecting it to be but not too dark that it was uncomfortable. Biker boyfriend is a tropes I haven't got into much but this really does it. And the spice was impeccable, this is not a soft small town romance, it's gritty and bloody and also excellent i read it onnone sitting

Brinley has been brought up to be polite and proper her whole life. But when she breaks up with her rich hot shot boyfriend, she moves back to her late parent’s house in a bid to find a job and start fresh. Enter Gabriel Wolfe. He’s the president of the HoH & Brinley’s new nightmare. She’s gone from praying for the bikers of her small town, to being f*cked by one on the back of his bike…🤭 And yes…that was my favourite scene 🤣🙈

I’d heard so many good things about this book since its’ release and have been so incredibly excited to read it. Don’t ask me how, but biker romances are new to me and…wow. It’s got to be one of my new favourite tropes 😮‍💨 Gabriel was the hottest book boyfriend, let me tell you. If you like a dark, brooding man in bike leathers, get yourself to this book. The plot was great, the spice was second to none. Just another perfect book by @authorpaisleyhope & I can’t wait to see what she writes next 🫶🏻

Perfection.

Paisley knows how to write characters that are fun, flirty, intense and oh so possessive, obsessive and HOT.

5/5 will read again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I loved this 🤣 what a book! Opposite of what I expected it to be but perfect none the less! I love how the MMC gave the FMC the confidence to be whoever she wanted and made her stronger. I loved the storyline, We all love a morally grey MMC and Wolf is just the best version. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!! 10/10

4.5 🌟

This was dark, emotional, and completely addictive. I flew through it in just a couple of sittings. Brinley’s journey from broken to bold was one of my favourite things to watch unfold, and Wolfe? Dangerous, intense, and impossible to ignore — I loved the dynamic between them.

The pacing kept me turning pages, and while there’s definitely heat, it’s the emotional depth and grit that stood out for me. A great read if you enjoy morally grey leads, found family themes, and darker romance with bite.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC — all thoughts are my own.

Wowee! Wolf.e is something else! Coming from Paisley Hope’s cowboy romances, I am stunned. This was a fun read but not for the faint-hearted. It’s got everything: murder, misogyny, aggression, pure violence, possession, and a bit of hunting to go with it. I know very little about motorbike clubs and I’m definitely intrigued, though also slightly afraid.

Brinley is a clean-cut debutante from the ‘right side’ of the tracks. When she loses her job and her boyfriend, she moves back to her hometown where her childhood best friend is marrying a club member. She locks eyes with the super sexy club president and her fate is sealed.

Gabriel is not the kind of book boyfriend that I would want but I can see what about him is so attractive to Brinley. For me, he’s just that bit too forceful. There’s being rough and then there’s bruising and marking. That’s not for me. I do genuinely believe, though, that he would never intentionally hurt Brinley and that’s, obviously, a positive.

We’re told at the start that Brinley has these deep fantasies about darker sex, but we don’t get much more information about that. Even when she finds it with Gabriel, we don’t get to experience her really reminiscing on how it compares to her fantasies. We only see it from his perspective where he notices how inexperienced she is (which would be mortifying to me, by the way!). I’d have liked to have gone into a bit more detail about that. I’d also like some more descriptions around the piercings and how they feel. They’re just there in this book, but I think there was a great opportunity to delve into the benefits they provide even more.

I enjoyed delving into the MC life. As mentioned, it’s not something I know a lot about and it was fascinating to me to hear how some of them may work and the different roles that people play.

This was a pretty fast-paced book and there were areas I’d have liked for us to have slowed down in to experience a bit more. For example, I’d have loved to have seen Brinley and Layla catch up more outside of talking about the club. More of the day-to-day that Gabriel and Brinley share while living together could also be interesting. We’re told they have these chats about life but I just can’t imagine it, so seeing some of them would have been nice.

I thought Evan may have ended up being a bigger part of the story and coming back but, since he didn’t, I feel like any mention of him later in the book was unnecessary. I did work out the twist so that wasn’t too shocking to me. What is definitely shocking to me though is who book 2 is about! Colour me very intrigued…

Gabriel Wolfe is president of the Hounds of Hell Motorcycle Club so expect a lot of violence, bad language and pretty graphic sex scenes. That said this is a good read with a depth of emotions and a storyline that keeps you entertained.
Gabriel takes women when and where he wants rarely going back for seconds, when he sees stunning Brinley he immediately decides she’s his. Having lost her job and treated as a doormat by her ex she’s definitely not ready for another relationship and tells Gabriel so.
With gang rivalry putting lives in danger Gabriel is determined to keep Brinley safe despite her resistance.
Although hard hitting with some jaw dropping violence this is a good enjoyable romance story, I loved the epilogue which was a wonderful ending.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for the opportunity to review this book honestly.

That felt like an entire movie playing in my head
Spicy Hide and Seek ?!

Brinley is a well-rounded, raven-haired, blue-eyed beauty living a comfortable life... until she’s not. Getting let go from her job is the final push she didn’t know she needed. Her wet-flannel boyfriend is moving cities for work. She calls it quits and heads back "home" unsure of what she’s looking for, but sure as hell done with playing it safe.

Suddenly, Brinley is thrown headfirst into the world of the Hounds of Hell, a notorious motorcycle club.At the head of the pack is Gabriel — cold, calculating, and fiercely loyal to his club. Women come and go, but when he sees Brinley?

It’s game over.

Whether she’s ready or not, Gabriel plans to make her his.
And Brinley? She might just burn the whole world down trying to stop him... or maybe, she’ll burn with him.

Could not put this book down.

If you loved Sons of Anarchy then you'll love this.
Brin turned into an absolute boss, wasn't expecting that.
Cute story with some serious spice, hard core issues dealt with in an unconventional way, with love, friendships, honor and family!
Gabe was just swoon worthy but so dark and dangerous, Definitely they dark to light balance.
Devoured this in just over a day and I loved everything about it.
Roll on book 2 for Laylas story, I cant wait!

Thank you Netgalley and Evermore for this free arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book had me hooked from the start. This book follow Brinley and Gabriel through a dark and gritty story. Brinley wants more from her current life so decides to move back home. She meets Wolfe and suddenly her life changes. Wolfe falls so hard in this book it is insane. He teaches her to be herself and be the badass that she is. I liked all the Motorcycle gang references, I felt fully submerged in this story. Its one i wont forget in a hurry

This book does have some triggering topics such as family death so please ensure to take care while reading this book

OBSESSED!

I honestly don't think that Paisley Hope is capable of writing a book that I would give anything less than 5 stars to.
This is a dark motorcycle club romance with a morally dark grey MMC. This book literally has everything and even if you haven't given a darker romance a try I would completely recommend this as your first try. It has forced proximity, an anti hero that you can't help but love and some great twists.

And the spice. Oh.My.🥵 Paisley really knows how to write a spicy book. If you can I'd listen to it on audio as it just hits different. I cant wait for the second book to come out to continue on in this world as I am having withdrawals from the hounds of hell.

Phew! This is hot hot hot from the outset and had me googling local motorcycle clubs in suburban England - suspect I’m going to be disappointed. Loved the back stories and all the supporting characters and discovering a whole new world.

I’ll be honest — dark romance isn’t usually my go-to genre. I often find it a bit too intense or out of my comfort zone. But I kept seeing Wolf.e recommended everywhere, and the praise was hard to ignore. So I was curious and wanted to give it a try.

To my surprise, the first 70% of the book really pulled me in. I liked the story and the characters and thought I would end up with a four star read. Unfortunately, that changed for me towards the end. There were parts I liked but unfortunately too many parts that I didn't like.

In the end, Wolf.e was a mixed experience. It exceeded my expectations at first, especially as someone cautious when it comes to dark romance, but it didn’t stick the landing. I can understand why others loved it — there are strong moments here — but for me, it just didn’t fully deliver.

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Paisley Hope for the opportunity to read this book early in exchange for an honest review.
