I'll be honest, I'm still trying to process this one because Pop Scars was a wild ride!! It started off a little slow and it was a struggle for me to get into it. At about the 25-30% mark, it picked up and just didn't stop until the end! It was all over the place (in a good way!). There were a lot of different characters and a lot going on so you do have to pay attention to keep it straight. I did get an inkling pretty early on that I knew who the "bad guy" was and I was right but that didn't make it any less enjoyable. When reading this book, it kind of gave me trashy reality tv vibes (except for the fact that reality tv doesn't have murder, obviously!). You know, the guilty pleasure shows that no one wants to admit they watch but are actually perfect for curling up with snacks and getting lost in other people's drama!!

DNF'd, i really struggled with this book, i got around halfway through before deciding to DNF. the characters are all over the place, and the writing felt over the top and extra complicated for no real reason. i could definitely see inspiration from books like Evelyn Hugo, and this book had a unique twist on this however it was a hit and miss.
