I love a good MC romance and Bianca did not disappoint! This is book 5 in the War Brothers MC Series.
Ivy is a single mom to her adorable daughter Sammy...She works as a ICU nurse and that's how she meets Jett "Demon" while she is caring for his sister. Ivy is running from trouble her ex drew her into😳
Jett "Demon" is a psychopath who is an enforcer for the MC. He does not feel things like others so it's a surprise to him and his brothers when he gets so attached to Ivy and Sammy. It's actually funny seeing Jett trying to process these feelings😂
Jett is determined to keep them safe! Will Ivy's trouble prove to be to much for him or will he get his own little family out of this!
I would definitely recommend this if you like MC romance. There is no cheating or other woman drama

This is such a simple story, in a good way. Is it the best I’ve ever read, no. But did I enjoy my time, yes.
We follow Jett and Ivy, he has sociopathic tendencies and she is a single mom who is an ICU nurse. I do wish we got a little more action/plot.

Firstly I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. It was my first time reading a book written by Bianca Lee ward and after finishing it I’m a devoted fan.
I adored the storyline between Jett (demon) and Ivy.
Jett is a tortured hero with a traumatic past and Ivy is a single mom wanting a fresh start away from her gambling ex.
Ivy winds up in a small town where she meets Jett, one look at each other and their worlds are forever intertwined.
Jettt feels he’s unworthy of love where as Ivy knows he deserves the world.
Their storyline is great, making this book an easy read with a few spicy scenes imbedded *wink*
I have to say I really enjoyed it so much so that I have gone back to read all the ones that came before this book in the series and I cannot wait for the next one !

I am clearly the black sheep review of this book, but the writing style pained me. In my opinion, you do not need the reasoning for every action or thought to be explained in a book. This allows for the reader to make the connection themselves and engage their mind in the book instead of being hand-held through the entire book and told what to think. That was my biggest grievance with the writing. Additionally, while I understand that the purpose of the book was to be short but it left out A LOT of details, while still somehow providing too much. For example, Jett is supposed to be a sociopath, right? Well, when it came to his pov's, it could've been written better to provide the perspective of a sociopath rather than a non-sociopath trying to be a sociopath. I am personally using Onley James's Necessary Evils series to make this comparison since I think those books were written pretty well from a socio-/psychopaths perspective.

I truly loved reading Jett’s story. He was such an odd character and now with his story we get to see who he really is. I loved every second of this book and, as always, I loved the continuation of the previous couples being in the story. I am so excited to finally get Twitch and Millie’s story next.

A cut above most MC romances - solid characters, strong plot, serious baggage handled in a sensitive way - you really want to know this group and want to be part of it, that's how real it gets. The silent, broken enforcer meets his sunshine match and sparks fly, OK maybe they bounce off for a while, but HEA is ahead and a fun ride to get there.
