This is a captivating astory that pulls you in from the first page. Khabra’s writing is immersive and intimate, making you feel as though you’re not just reading about the characters, you’re living alongside them, with binoculars! You quickly become invested in their journeys, their struggles, and their triumphs.
The plot unfolds with a natural rhythm, blending tension and tenderness in a way that keeps you turning pages. Khabra’s ability to explore complex relationships and personal growth with nuance and empathy is addictive. The emotional stakes feel realistic enough to make you want more.
Khabra has crafted a novel that’s both heartfelt and thought-provoking, a must-read for anyone who loves character-driven fiction.
I will admit, I didnt realise it was the third in the series until I finished the book, but it didnt feel like I needed the other 2 books to enjoy this one (although I did immediately buy both to devour!)

the time’s come and it’s time for me to rant about one of my most anticipated readings of year :”)
revolve’s that kind of book that made me fall in love with the off ice series and characters even more! dylan and sierra were so authentic and their relationship was so PURE, cute and i mean hot… i truly loved to read the development of their relationship because the more i read about it the more i was like “this is SOOO RIGHT and SO THEM”. they are both strong characters and reading especially about sierra’s healing was truly something else! and oh dylan the man u are… 🥰 he made me smile a lot but not only him but also the gang and ikyk :”) i will always love to read the family found scenes and bal as always didn’t disappointed because i truly love this fam.
least but not last the HINTS about the next books and especially the next one i think ?? like i was sat for THAT couple since book 1 and those hints were EVERYTHING to me like i’m sat (as if i wasn’t already…)
so to sum up WE ARE SO BACK and well if u haven’t started this series take it as a sign to start it asap :)
a HUGE thanks to bloomsbury plc and netgalley for sending me the copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion!

Took a while to get into this but when I did, I enjoyed it! The bad boy ice hockey player ( with a figure skating background ofc) and the ice queen skater are partnered together after a fall - her's quite literally and his, from grace. The chemistry between the two is off the charts and I really enjoyed reading it!
The only thing I didn't like was the epilogue pushing us into the future - imho, we didn't need this.

✨5 stars✨
Each book I read in this series just gets better and becomes a new favourite!
I loved seeing the character development between Sierra and Dylan, and how they began to open up to each other about their insecurities and struggles. Also, I loved the figure skating aspect in this book as honestly I have enjoyed reading about that sport and would love to find more books with figure skating!
I love when I can’t put a book down and I end up finishing it in the early hours of the morning!
I can’t wait to read more of whatever Bal Khabra writes in the future!
I received an ARC from the publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!

I absolutely loved this, so much so that I went back and re-read the previous two books in the series as soon as I finished because I just couldn't bear to fully say goodbye to all the characters. And I would do it all again tbh.
I loved Dylan's development across all three books but especially here, the way he finds himself and his passion through his relationship with Sierra was so beautiful. And I loved her healing journey as well, the way they helped each other and grew together was just really special. And the whole cast of characters from both the previous books were joyous. I really hope there are more books to come in this series because I'll be right here waiting.

Sierra & Dylan
Figure Skater x Hockey Player
Forced Proximity
Friends to lovers
Boy Obsessed
Found Family
This one is my favourite in the series!
I love a good figure skater x hockey player romance, so as soon as I saw the description I just knew this one was for me 😍
These two are great together!
4.5 ⭐️

Desperate needing a figure skating partner , Sienna is coming back from horrendous injury after an accident on the ice. Healed from the physical but still struggling with the mental scares.
Dylan ice hockey hero but an idiotic mistake costs him his place on the team.
Can two wounded people help eachother heal? Can they work together to fight demons of past relationships and family dynamics to heal and move forward?
A sexual awakening as well as a self realisation. Steamy but tender. Enjoy the dynamics that will make you grin, laugh, grimace and wet.

I've thoroughly enjoyed all of Bal Khabra'a books and this one is no different. The characters are perfectly created, which just makes you really fall in love with them and get so attached to them as well. Both characters within this book have a lot of trauma/bad stuff that they're dealing with from their past and present, so seeing them come together is really sweet. Ideal for fans of the forced proximity trope and the grumpy x sunshine vibe as well. Also, I'd highly recommend to fans of sports romances in general, but especially those similar to icebreaker or the vancouver storm series.

Thank you NetGalley, Bal Khabra and Bloomsbury for providing an eARC in exchange for my honest review - Revolve publishes October 14th.
I’m really happy to have an early copy of Revolve, book 3 in the Off the Ice series. I’ve been really excited to pick this up as I really enjoyed Collide and Spiral.
Revolve follows Sierra, an Olympic figure skater who suffered a life altering accident and is ready to return to the ice and Dylan a hockey player who’s been kicked off the team for his reckless behaviour - Sierra needs a new figure skating partner and who’s better for the job, than Dylan!
I really, really enjoyed this book! Bal did a fantastic job covering Sierra’s anxiety and trauma and how she worked through this with the support of Dylan (as her last skating partner was absolute trash). Sierra is strong, driven and so resilient, something I love to see in an FMC.
Sierra and Dylan had really great chemistry and banter, I thought it was beautifully done considering Dylan is a reformer playboy (which I sometimes don’t love as a trope!). I loved how the trust developed between them, knocking down Sierra’s walls, something which is critical for their partnership on the ice.
I loved Lidia as their coach! I thought she was such a fun character with her sass. And of course it was brilliant to be back in the hockey house and with our found family. I’m hoping for Kian’s book next 🤭
My only downside was I didn’t love the third act conflict, I understand why it was what it was, but it did annoy me!
Overall a really enjoyable read, I think my second favourite in the series (Spiral just tops it!) and I’m looking forward to picking up a physical copy in October (praying for another The Works sprayed edge edition to match!!)

Sierra Romanova is an Olympic-level figure skater who, after a devastating accident, has been sidelined by fear and panic. Determined to reclaim both the ice and her confidence, she’s ready to fight for her comeback. Enter Dylan Donovan, a hot-headed hockey player with his own battles to face. Recently kicked off his team for reckless behaviour, he still lives and breathes the sport.
When Sierra needs a new partner and Dylan needs a way back onto his team, an unlikely arrangement is struck. What begins with stubborn friction gradually spins into something deeper, as both are forced to confront their pasts and rediscover what the ice truly means to them and to each other.
This book has so much going for it. Fans of figure skating meets hockey, slow-burn romance, and found-family college settings will find it utterly compelling. Even if you haven’t read Collide or Spiral, this installment stands strong on its own.
One standout point for me: while the tropes sit comfortably within the expected lines of a sports romance, the on-ice scenes are fantastic, vivid, realistic, and so easy to picture that you can almost feel the chill in the rink and the scrape of the blades beneath you (or rather, under your skates). It’s the kind of writing that pulls you into the moment and keeps you there

I was so excited to receive this as an arc as well as Spiral earlier this year.
I really enjoyed Sierra and Dylan’s characters. Sierra is an “ice queen” who had an awful accident on the ice figure skating which left her scared to try again. She was so strong and brave and I love how sassy she is. Dylan is a college hockey player with a playboy reputation but that all stops when he starts figure skating with Sierra. He turns into a golden retriever and I absolutely love how they bounced off eachother.
I did really love the story but found it lacking in excitement a lot of the time. And there were a lot of occasions where the characters made long heartfelt speeches which just became too much in the end. A little cringe 😬 but overall I did really enjoy it.

Really enjoyed the first two books in this series, so I was so so excited for this one, but it really fell flat for me.
There are some things that I really liked: Dylan and Sierra had great banter, both main characters were really funny and I liked Sierras arc of dealing with her Olympics trauma. Especially at the start of the book their banter really worked for me, which made me want to keep reading. This series also has some great found family.
Unfortunately, there were also some parts that didn’t land for me. Dylan came from the Nathan Hawkins school of harassing his gf into a relationship (iykyk), but he had absolutely no healthy balance between the relationship and the rest of his life. When she suggested they take a break to not lose themselves in their relationship I thought the writer would resolve this, but it just never happened. He was basically her therapist and punching bag at some point, and I really wanted him to have something going for him besides their relationship. Him giving up hockey was an outrageous writing decision for this reason?? His personal problems (so promising!!) also only took half a chapter to resolve after a lifetime of family issues and had more potential
I would have loved for Sierra to have something more in depth scenes about her trauma and relationship with skating. The whole book her inner monologue is a big rant about how skating ruined her self image, confidence and mental health, but we never really see that being dealt with. The first time she was happy skating again was when she scored really well, which still felt so unhealthy to me? This just made it really hard to connect to both main characters
Lastly, the pacing was off for a book this long and it really could just not interest me until the end. I feel like the author should either shorten her books or make the relationships burn slower, because (personal preference) I don’t want to read 150ish pages of smooth sailing.
Maybe the other two books set my expectations too high, but this one wasn’t for me

I’ve never been more excited to get an email than I was when this hit my inbox!
This entire series was phenomenal but this book was next level.
The only cohesive thought i have after finishing it is;
WOW
Dylan and Sierra are both such complex characters without being overwhelming. It’s the perfect amount of pining/denial/relenting.
-Reverse Grumpy-Sunshine
-Reformed Playboy
-Found Family
-Injury Recovery
-Forced Proximity
What a book! I’ll be thinking about this book for many months to come.
“You only have to look at me and I’ll give everything to you, Sierra.”

Bal Khabra’s Revolve is a captivating sports romance that blends the high drama of competitive figure skating with the fiery tension of a love story between two people who push each other to their limits.
Sierra Romanova was once an Olympic figure skater, until a devastating accident left her with panic attacks every time she stepped onto the ice. Now in her final year at Dalton University, she’s determined to stage a comeback — even if it means facing down her biggest fears. Enter Dylan Donovan, a cocky, reckless hockey player whose career is hanging by a thread after being kicked off his team. He might be trouble, but he’s also the only one who can help Sierra reclaim her edge.
Their arrangement begins as a clash of wills — his teasing and provocation pitted against her fierce determination — but soon evolves into an undeniable connection that’s as intense as their performances on the ice. Khabra writes both the physicality of skating and the emotional complexity of their relationship with precision, creating a story that’s as much about personal growth as it is about romance.
Packed with sharp banter, simmering attraction, and heartfelt moments, Revolve is a high-stakes, emotionally charged ride. Whether you come for the sport or the romance, you’ll find yourself completely swept up in Sierra and Dylan’s story.

This was great - exactly what you’d expect from a romcom novel and I immediately went to read the first two in the series.

Revolve is a heartfelt, tension-filled romance that blends the grace of figure skating with the grit of hockey. The story follows an Olympic-level figure skater whose career is shattered after a devastating fall. Struggling with PTSD and the lingering fear of stepping back onto the ice, she’s determined to rekindle her love for skating—and reclaim her future.
Her comeback hinges on finding a new partner, but with options scarce, she’s reluctantly paired with someone she never imagined skating beside: a recently disgraced hockey player she already knows (and doesn’t particularly like). From the start, their chemistry is undeniable—though it’s wrapped in layers of sharp banter and lingering resentment.
As the two train together, the ice between them slowly melts. Their partnership deepens not only on the rink but in their personal lives, as they help each other heal from the wounds they’ve been hiding. The emotional stakes are high, the tension is palpable, and the romance delivers both tenderness and fire—complete with some seriously well-written spicy moments.
Bal Khabra captures the physicality and artistry of skating beautifully, while also delivering a love story that’s equal parts vulnerable, passionate, and empowering. If you love sports romance with layered characters, slow-burn heat, and genuine emotional payoff, Revolve will sweep you right off your feet. ⛸️

An Unforgettable Five-Star Romance on Ice
This book completely stole my heart. From the first page, I was hooked by the emotional depth and the sizzling chemistry between Sierra Romanova and Dylan Donovan. Sierra’s journey as a figure skater recovering from a traumatic accident is inspiring and raw, while Dylan’s redemption arc—from reckless hockey player to devoted partner—is both satisfying and swoon-worthy.
Their dynamic is electric. Every scene they share crackles with tension, vulnerability, and slow-burning romance. The skating sequences are beautifully written, making you feel like you're right there on the ice with them. And the emotional stakes? Absolutely gripping.
What sets this story apart is how it blends passion, healing, and personal growth. It’s not just a love story—it’s about finding strength in the face of fear, learning to trust again, and daring to dream bigger than before.
If you love sports romance, complex characters, and a love story that glides straight into your soul, this is a five-star read you won’t want to miss.

Revolve by Bal Khabra
Content warning: Sierra is healing physically and emotionally from a life-threatening skating accident. She is also healing from a toxic relationship with her former skating partner. Sierra has a great family support system, and Dylan's family is toxic. There are a lot of emotions in this book. All of the characters are taken care of, but take care of yourself too.
I loved this book! Women in Sports Heck yeah! A Hockey player who can figure skate. Yes please. A big tough man who wants his lady to be exactly as she is: as mean and icy cold as she wants. Hell yes. You will not find Dylan telling women to smile. I love Sierra's caustic wit, her sarcasm, and that she won't take any crap from anyone. She doesn't have time for that. She almost died. She struggles with the “new” Sierra and Dylan helps her be ok with all parts of who she is.
There is a scene where Dylan is wearing Sierra's Team USA jacket and I adore the gender bending stereotype of this! I love sports romance and there's always a guy who wants to see his lover in his jersey. His name on their back. And I love Dylan wearing Sierra's name on his back.
I received an advance review copy for free from NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

4.5 stars 💌⛸️✨
i love this world and the characters so much.
this was so enjoyable, i adored dylan’s complex inner monologues and his battles while dealing with hockey, figure skating and his family.
sierra’s battles with her last skating accident, handling the aftermath of an accident like that. i think it was really well done in this book and i think everything was handled with a lot of care and detail.
their romance was really cute and i genuinely loved how much they helped each other while still being to help themselves.

Controversially I never read interconnected romance series’ in chronological order because I believe in reading a book when it gets your attention—unless it’s integral to the plot, I’m not an animal.
With that being said, Revolve has made me want to go back and read the first two books in the series.
Revolve is an ice skating romance that follows Sierra and Dylan. After a serious injury that almost made sierra never skate again, Sierra is picking up the pieces—and her confidence—to get back out and do what she loves. In comes Dylan, the hockey player who thinks he’s untouchable. When Dylan fails his drug test and finds himself kicked off the hockey team and a future in the NHL in tatters, his only way back is to team up with Sierra, who is desperately looking for a male figure skater to pair with.
I really enjoyed reading this—it was very no nonsense and it felt like we didn’t get the characters as a couple almost immediately. I wouldn’t say it felt like enemies to lovers, but the banter and angst between Sierra and Dylan was SO good.
We got to learn about both characters in their respective points of view. We saw their insecurities, fears, and how despite their differences, they work well together.
I loved how we saw the community that Dylan has within his friendship group, and how Sierra began to be incorporated in that.
A solid 4* read that I finished in ~24 hours!
Thank you Bloomsbury UK for an arc of Revolve in exchange of an honest review
