Chloe Henry is a smart, dedicated doctor who is trying to get out from the shadow of her family name. Logan Broderick is a hot TV doctor with an unearned reputation for being a player. Obviously, they randomly meet and are pushed into fake dating for both their sakes. The slow burn/obvious attraction was soo good! And I liked the way they each improved the other without an agenda. Just two people who were meant to meet.

Highly recommend!

I liked it, but don't remember much of it. She was from a medical family, he was a TV star, both happened to be in the same room by accident, and somehow, paparazzi found them and caught them, so they had to fake a relationship.
An okay read, but had much room for improvement.
3 stars.

Dating Dr Love by Rachel Dove is a heartwarming contemporary romance. The characters are likable and the setting is wonderfully detailed. It’s a comforting, feel-good story that’s easy to root for.
I had a great time reading this book. Every time I put it down, I couldn’t wait to pick it back up again.
That’s all I really want from my books, to fuel that desire of ‘I don’t want to stop reading you.’

I do enjoy a fake-dating trope, and this one was beautifully presented, capturing my imagination from the start. When we meet Chloe Henry, she is focused on gaining her promotion and not even considering the idea of having any competition for the role. Determined to dazzle the board with her skills and knowledge, she is focused on presenting herself in the best possible light, without any distractions, particularly from Logan Broderick, who portrays Dante Love on TV. Fully prepared with a case filled with serious outfits, she arrives at the conference location, determined to show the board exactly what she’s made of.
Meanwhile, Logan’s world has started to crumble, and he needs to raise his game if he is to save his career. His presence at the medical conference may be just what he needs to turn his life around and prevent the spiralling trajectory of his falling star. But life presents him with an opportunity when he crashes into Chloe in the Bathroom of the hotel suite he booked for himself.
As they fall into their temporary ceasefire and make the effort to get to know one another, it’s only a matter of time before hostility gives way to chemistry and they are drawn together. With snappy exchanges and simmering heat on the back burner, it doesn’t take long for that chemistry to ignite and for all bets to be off.
Having missed a few tours recently due to ongoing health issues, this book was just the tonic I needed, and I thoroughly enjoyed the verbal sparring between Chloe and Logan. While Fake-dating is not a new concept, it was the perfect one for their situation, and I loved seeing their sparring descend into flirtation and more.

This was a cute and lighthearted read! The premise: a famous actor caught in an unexpected situation with a real doctor, leading to a fake dating setup to handle the media frenzy was fun and engaging. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters; they were likable and well-developed, and it was great to see how both of them grew over the course of the story.

That said, the insta-love aspect didn’t quite work for me. The characters fall in love in less than a week, which made the progression of their relationship feel a bit rushed especially in the final chapters. I would’ve loved to see more buildup and emotional development before they started declaring they were madly in love.

Overall, this was an enjoyable romantic escape, perfect if you're looking for something sweet and breezy with a bit of Hollywood sparkle.

This was a cute, light read. The way the couple met was cute. The writing is engaging and I finished reading this quickly because it was a book that I wanted to keep reading. The ending is predictable but I still enjoyed seeing how it would unfold.

The spice level is very low. Implied but no graphic descriptions or scenes.

I’m not a big romance reader but I enjoyed this as a change of pace from other things I’ve been reading.

Oh, how I love a fake-dating story, especially when it's done as well as this one! The banter is off-the-scale funny and, as the fake turns real, hot. However, under the froth is warmth and emotional depth that elevates it to 5 stars.

I adored the FMC. Chloe is smart, fierce, and ambitious, yet really sweet and caring. Then MMC Logan is a gorgeous actor who's truth is very different from what the media likes to portray. They're determined to paint him as a bad bay, so when paps catch him and Chloe half naked, he proposes the fake relationship.

I half expected an insta-love situation, but was happy to be proven wrong. Dating Dr Love is heart-felt and the burn is slow without being frustrating. I really saw how the characters connected and felt that their love story was epic enough to last forever.

Just the sort of HEA that I love.

What began as one hotel room mishap turned into a long-lasting matchup, and I was here for it. Author Rachel Dove’s Dating Dr. Love was a fun, sweet read. I loved the romance and banter. Though the spice was pretty light, I enjoyed the dialogue and lightheartedness of the plot. There are several laugh-out-loud scenes from their mishap in the hotel room. And countless moments when I said, “awwww” out loud. Logan, though he has a reputation, falls hard for Chloe and does and says the sweetest things. I loved the HEA too.

🩺 Bookish Thoughts
I will never say no to a fake dating romance, and this one delivered. Dating Dr Love was the perfect romcom. I loved both Chloe and Logan (aka Dr Love).

At first, I thought Logan was a total himbo and not the brightest bulb. But he turned out to be such a softie and incredibly protective of Chloe. I loved how he never let her family belittle her and always called them out when they were being passive aggressive.

I also loved our perfectionist Chloe. Watching her finally set boundaries with her family and stand up to the sexist men at work was so satisfying. And that ending? Absolutely adorable.

✨ What You Can Expect:
• Fake dating romance
• Grumpy doctor FMC
• Golden retriever MMC
• Hospital conference shenanigans
• Found confidence and soft support

📖 Final Score: 4.5 stars
📅 Pub Date: July 16, 2025

This was a very quick read. I listened to the audiobook, and even the audiobook thought it was quick, as it missed a chunk of the book, so I had to go back and find where I was. I did think it was strange that I was the end, as we hadn't had much strife. But no, there must have been a ghost!

When I did go back, I realised I hadn't missed much angst. Don't get me wrong,g Wildcats' speech was nice, and did make me tear up, but there wasn't a much longer space between being apart, and for the reader to see them grow individually, so I felt it was a bit rushed.

I did love the first half; however, Logan defended Chloe, aka Wildcat, until the ends of the earth. I mean, who doesn't want a man like that, and they had only just met!! He was a great fake date. From their opening meeting, naked in a shower, you knew it would be fun! I loved their journey together. The way that he helped her see who she was. Not just supporting her, or being the all-important character to boost someone. He enables Chloe to realise she deserved more and better.

It was a cute read, and I read it in one day, but I did enjoy it. There were some comedic moments, paintballing anyone?! And some really loving and tender moments, and that's what I will remember the most. Those touching moments.

I'm glad I read this book. After reading something heavy, I was looking for something lighter and I started reading it. I loved the chemistry between the two protagonists and how someone's crush became her real life boyfriend. We may judge any celebrity too quickly based on the news circulated about them but only when you get to know them personally, you can find out that that person is completely different. I love how superstar Logan supported Dr. Chloe and vice versa. Logan never pretended with her during their fake arrangements but whatever he did was straight from his heart. He stood up for her when everyone was becoming a barrier in front of her including her family. I loved their bonding so much

Dating Dr. Love was such a fun and cute romcom—I had the best time reading it in one sitting! While I usually prefer first-person POV, the third-person narration here was easy to follow and really worked for the story.

Fake dating stories can be tricky to pull off, especially within a short timeframe, but the chemistry between Chloe and Logan came through right away. Their “meet-cute” was chaotic in the best way, and while I was initially skeptical about some possible plot holes, Rachel managed to surprise me and keep things on track.

What I loved most was how deeply Chloe and Logan supported each other. They truly saw one another, offered the kind of encouragement neither of them was used to, and helped each other grow—both together and individually. Their banter and heart-to-hearts were equally hilarious and wholesome. I enjoyed every moment they were together.

The third act even got me a little teary-eyed (in a good way!), and I really appreciated how the resolution was handled. And of course… the cat totally stole the show!!

Thank you to Netgalley and Rachel and team for the ARC!

Dating Dr Love by Rachel Dove is a fun fake-dating romance novel set primarily during a week-long medical conference. It features a hardworking doctor - Chloe and a scandal ridden TV star - Logan. The chemistry and banter from Chloe and Logan along with the viral mishap of the hotel make for a quick, light and entertaining read even if it was a bit predictable.

Chloe Henry is a no nonsense surgeon aiming for a promotion. The only one person that is standing in her way is DR Jonathan Carson who is loved by the board. Enter Doctor Love, Logan Broderick, TVs hottest star. So when he proposes to Chloe they fake date to boost her profile.
An enjoyable read.

I gave this book a 3/5 ⭐️. I was looking for a medical romance book, and this one fit the theme of that. It was a cute story, but I couldn’t connect with the characters. I felt like I didn’t know much about them and I also felt like the romance was rushed. I also thought it was hard to tell when the characters would speak because it was not in quotations. I really wanted to like this one, but it was okay.
