two women in the 70´ oscillating between each other's life. Truly beautiful and a little heartbreaking but this is life, right ?

Kiran Millwood-Hargrave is one of those mythical beings who can so beautifully hold the role of children’s fiction author and adult fiction author. This book was all at once mesmerising, beautiful and suffocating. I haven’t been this immersed in a book in a long while.

The perfect summer read that left me completley in tears.

Read this as part of a book club. It was alright but not the sort of book I enjoy reading hence the rating. As literary fiction it was more accessible than most though which made it better to read as there is a story thread and long timeline going through it.
