Thank you to NetGalley for providing a free ARC of this book. I found the writing easy to read and very conversational, even though the topics were deep. I like the mix of memoir and science. It is about one woman's struggle to learn more about her genetic disorder. It is heartfelt and. well written. I would recommend reading this book. It gives us a lot to think about regarding our current healthcare system.

Half memoir, half informative scientific read on gene therapy. While the writing occasionally leans into technical detail, the emotional stakes and ethical questions remain front and centre. A remarkable and thought-provoking contribution to the conversation on personalised medicine.
