Review: Why is this story line constantly skipping the line like German tourists ignoring a queue? One moment David is drinking tea with a woman in town and suddenly he is on "his ship" that has a bar and music. Huh? Forget that ships do not have taverns built into them and focus on the why and how David goes from a room in a castle to drinking ale in a ship at sea, in a blink. Suddenly there is a pirate blockade and fug me. This novel has no build process where characters are developed with the movement. It is pure erratic movement with sudden scene shifting and zero character development.
