This book is full of plot twists. I enjoyed how many twists and turns this book took. The main character is suffering from amnesia and her husband doesn’t feel like her husband. She can’t remember her past and as she’s trying to put the pieces together strange things keep happening.
The last few chapters were a little disappointing for me and the epilogue annoyed me. Overall though, I had a good time reading it.

This book was brilliant and such a unpredictable read.
Really great twists that I didn't see coming at all.
Really looking forward to reading more work by this author.

When Cora Harrison woke up the first thing she sees is a handsome stranger dressed in blue and silver satin pajamas standing over her. He whispers “Welcome home darling. I’m Evan your husband.”
He tells her she had a fall and has been in a coma for two weeks and woke up but drifting in and out of consciousness. The Doctor says will probably experience temporary amnesia.
She currently doesn’t remember anything including her own name.
Cora kept me curious. I have no doubt she was also trying so hard to find something that is familiar ~ something – anything that she could remember!
I read a lot of thrillers so am suspicious of everyone.
In Ms. Davis’ “A Letter from Liz” she tells us that she hopes readers have a good time unraveling the secrets of ‘Not His Wife’.
This made laugh – Yes! I did enjoy it – however I didn't exactly have it unraveled!!!!
This my fifth Liz Davis story. The other four were great earned 4+ or 5 Stars! They were all great page turners. She does not disappoint and just like in the past – she leaves me wanting to read her next story!
About the Author:
Liz Grace Davis creates fast-paced, unpredictable, twisty-turny, psychological thrillers set in small towns. She strives to create characters that feel so real that her readers would want to meet them in real life. She loves to set her thrillers in small towns that, at first sight, look picturesque, but upon closer inspection, dark secrets and dangerous minds threaten the residents.
Want to thank NetGalley and Bookouture for this great eGalley.

What a great read! This is filled with amnesia, lots of lies, and you won’t know what character to trust. The twists shocked me!

I thought I knew where it was going, I did not. I thought the last twist had happened and then there was another one. Absolutely incredible book, kept me guessing and I can honestly say that I liked absolutely none of the characters, but in a good way. A very good read, especially for people (like me) who prefer reading pyschological thrillers where sometimes the same tropes keep being used. A very refreshing book.

Thank you NetGalley! This was a typical domestic thriller and a first read for me by L. G. Davis. I throughly enjoyed it

I enjoyed this one, and it had me flipping the pages. I loved the twist at the end.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for an advanced reading copy.

Not His Wife by LG Davis, when Cora wakes up from I assume coma she is greeted by a stranger who she soon learned is her husband Evan. Living in the home with her is his aunt Mary and soon there will be a housekeeper that also comes to the home but when she gets better and starts meeting the neighbors she learns their living in a woman named Margaret Tukes house and the people who tell her this insist Margaret would’ve never left her home. her husband Evan seems to be very loving and considerate but she finds certain things from journal entries to pictures to other things that caused her to believe her husband isn’t all he pretends to be. He’s a published psychiatric author who people say his practices are dangerous but Cora doesn’t know what to believe and by the time she learns the truth she will wish she would’ve kept all her suspicions to herself. two things I love or books by LG Davis and books about amnesiac victims and despite this one having a few holes in it such as why wasn’t Cora in the hospital but on the other hand I guess when you’re doing something devious and underhanded you wanna keep it contained to your house as much as possible. also I thought when Donna messaged her that that was going to be a game changer but you’ll have to read the book to find out what it actually was. it is so weird the way an author can write a book with plot holes and I will be so forgiving and like I still love the book it was still great such as this one but then other authors will write books with one misspoken quote or something Ithink inaccurate and I will dissect it like the coroner in front of a new murder victim. Having said that needless to say I absolutely loved this book then again I love all LG Davis’s books. They’re always so filled with twist OMG moments and this one is no exception. When they say in the tagline it is a gasp out loud ending they’re absolutely correct because I have to be honest and say when it ended that I was like wow!!!#NetGalley, #Bookouture, #TheBlindReviewer, #MyHonestReview, #LGDavis, #NotHisWife,

This was a great read! There were so many twists and turns and kept me on the edge of my seat! I couldn’t put it down!

Thank you, NetGalley, for an ARC of Not His Wife by L.G. Davis
3.5
This book tells the story of a woman who wakes up in the hospital with no memory of who she is. Her husband is there to help her as she tries to figure out who she is.
This book had me hooked from the start. I thought I knew where this story was going, but I was completely wrong. This is a fast-paced thriller that will keep you guessing until the end.

I love a book that comes with hard to guess twists, and this one is packed full of unexpected surprises. I really enjoyed this fast paced thriller. It’s certainly one of the best books by this author.

This book....😲 I was hooked from the very first chapter!
Every time I thought I had it all figured out, I was wrong. So completely wrong!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I couldn't put it down!
Definitely deserves 5* and a must read!

Definitely a fast paced gripping thriller, i didn’t want to put it down without knowing what was going to happen next and the ending was still unexpected. Wild ride

I was approved as an ARC for this book, it was such a nice thriller with a great character build. The book introduces a lady who just got out of the hospital and lost her memory and her husband is helping her recover them and remember who she is. It’s so good and you don’t see the twists coming and they really come hard too. I recommend reading this book even though I feel some parts were dragged out it was still a very nice book. Go get your copy once it’s published.

Not His Wife by L.G. Davis
This was such a fast-paced book. I couldn’t put it down. The plot was intense, and the twist—holy buckets. When I told you, I gasped out loud and dropped the book.
This was deliciously devious and so twisted. Everything about this plot was terrifying. The characters were so well written. Davis did such a brilliant job creating doubt and suspicion.
I enjoyed L.G. Davis’s writing style. The story was gripping and engaging, holding me hostage from page one. The descriptions were well done and detailed. The way the farmhouse was described was clever. It was a character on its own.
Davis took a seemingly familiar story and added her twists and turns, and she nailed it. I loved how everything came together and the story ebbed and flowed—brilliant writing, twisted characters, and a thrilling twist. #KatyApproved

Thank you to Bookouture, L.G Davis and NetGalley for the arc of this amazing psychological thriller!
Wow! An absolutely amazing story with so many twists, I genuinely loved every minute of this book and was hooked from the start!
The book follows Cora who wakes from a horrible accident causing memory loss, she meets a man called Evan, her husband, but she doesn’t remember him at all! They have to work to get her memory back.
I highly recommend this book to thriller lovers! I could not stop reading and will definitely be looking out for L.G Davis’ other books

Oh my goodness. This is definitely the sort of thriller that leaves you staring at the wall afterwards.
Cora wakes up with no memory of her life. She has a beautiful big home on a farm, a loving husband and plenty of leisure time. She is told she had an accident and needs time to regain her memories, but something does not feel right at all.
Be prepared for shock and non-stop twists and turns. I enjoyed the pacing and the chapters were a nice length; just when I thought I’d end for the night, it pulled me to the next chapter, and the next. The characters were interesting and the mental health aspects were not stereotypical but realistic. I could not settle on who to trust, and the reveals and how they unfolded were very clever. At no point did I feel like I could relax or that the characters were in the clear, right up until the last page. What an ending!
This is my first book by L. G. Davis and it will not be my last!
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for this ARC; all opinions are my own.

Really enjoyed the suspense! I honestly had no idea where this was going but glad o stuck with it! First of this author but not the last

5 star read!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and L.G Davis for the opportunity to read this as my very first ARC!!
This story follows the main character ‘Cora’ who loses her memory after a fall. She wakes up in a house with a man called Evan who tells her that he is her husband, but obviously she cannot remember anything about her past. Then you also have Mary, an Evan’s elderly aunt with dementia. The plot line follows Cora trying to get her memory back whilst also uncovering secrets that the house holds.
The twists and turns were like no other in this book- usually when reading a thriller I have a hunch as to what the twists are going to be but the twists in this book left me gobsmacked and I was hooked in the first chapter.
Well written, good character development throughout. I really felt like I understood the characters and their emotions throughout.

So happy I got this as an ARC !!! Wow I really liked Not Your Wife! Cora was such a great main character—I loved following her story. Evan was another favorite of mine, really enjoyed his role in everything. Mary… not so much. She was super secretive and kind of hard to figure out, which made it tough to connect with her. Still, the book kept me hooked and I liked the twists. Definitely worth a read!
