This book was entertaining but I wouldn't buy it to learn from it. The format didn't captivate my attention. I wish I had find more inspiration for art protect, though I understand the subject is big and varries.

I still think it would be a great start for someone looking to begin a new hobby.

This book is so much fun. Start off by answering questions to get yourself inspired, like "What is your favorite film?" This book not only motivates you but makes you think outside the box: different mediums, looking at things you overlook every day, less is more, etc. A great read for any creative mind.

I enjoyed the art focus of the book, but not being a pop culture fan, I found the constant references to pop culture annoying or perplexing. I'd rather copy the masters, not what passes for popular these days. As an art book, it's fine and serviceable. I wanted to use this with my teens in our homeschool group, but won't because of all the pop culture references.
