I haven't read much romance but did enjoy Ms. Jeffries' approach to the genre. This was a fun and light hearted read. It was a bit more "open door" than I would prefer but that is a personal quirk. I would recommend this to someone looking for an entertaining quick read.

Sabrina Jeffries is an author that I know will deliver. Because of this, selecting one of her books is a no-brained. The Art of Sinning is no different. As the first in a new series, it successfully builds the premise - a club for guardians to marry off their charges, and the adventures that ensue. In this book, the main characters Yvette and Jeremy are well crafted, even if Yvette comes off as whiny (frequently). Their story is a rather unique one, and comes to a satisfying, if a tiny bit rushed, conclusion.

I really enjoyed the interaction between Jeremy and Yvette. They were both so strong willed and were so sure they could use the other to their advantage. I enjoyed how well developed all of the characters, including the secondary ones.

A wonderful book in a new series. An artist, a scandal and a chance at love make this the perfect weekend escape.
