a short and easy read perfect for this weather and this season. it bought back a few nostalgic memories for me of beach times of old.
the characters for such a short book felt very well thought out and being so short the story needed to do all things at just the right time and zelda managed that.
this is more than a teenage crush. our pair both know it. everyone around them knows it. can they realise it before its too late? it takes courage to fall in love.does it feels harder than that courage could take to lose it?
there is also some notable side characters in this book which fit so nicely into these books and make them hold more time in our hearts.

A summery, cute, short and easy read. I'd love to read more about Casey, Noah and Zach's story that led them to where they are now. I loved the generous character Uncle Joe, and how even beyond the grave he's supporting his favourite people. Pesky Pete the pelican provides some humour throughout. This book is well-written and a perfect quick read.

This story was good. It was a good slow paced summer read. It brought back some memories of my own when I would go to a beach house in the summer growing up. The only problem I really had was that it lacked the romance. So that was a bit of a bummer but other than that it was alright.

I adored the nostalgia of this book. As someone who grew up going to a beach house as a child, this was written so beautifully. For a short novella, there was plenty of great scene setting. Lacked a bit of romantic plot and chemistry but I can see what the author was trying to achieve.
If you’re after a quick summer read with a slow paced plot then I would recommend picking this up!

You can't even call it a romance book, because there is absolutely no romance.
The main characters have no chemistry whatsoever.
The summary is making the book sound more interesting than it actually is.
He tells her he loves her in the end, but we don't see the love prior or why he loves her. It makes no sense because they barely spend time together at the beach house, so how could he have fallen in love?
They have almost no interactions, so when they kissed it was just random and out of nowhere.
There was no time, to grow to like the characters.
Nothings really happening in this book.
