It was a sweet read, and very cozy vibes. But for me the writing fell flat. It felt choppy, and some of the sentences felt like they ran on forever. The spicy parts felt a bit juvenile however I personally skip spice scenes in books I buys
It’s cute and fun for a seasonal read but it wouldn’t be the top of my list.

This was such a cozy, feel-good read. It gave me all the autumn vibes—small-town charm, warm drinks, crisp leaves, and just the right amount of romance. The setting was adorable, and I loved how atmospheric everything felt. It basically made me want to curl up with a latte and a blanket.
The romance was sweet and had great chemistry, even if the plot was a little predictable. Honestly, that worked for me here—it felt familiar in the best way. I just would’ve loved a bit more emotional depth or character development to make it a full 5 stars.
Overall, it hit exactly the vibe I was hoping for: light, fun, and perfect for fall.

Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow is such a cozy, feel-good read. It’s set in this lovely small town called Birchbrook, where Willow Connor is trying to save her family farm by starting a pumpkin patch—pretty ambitious since she only has six weeks and no pumpkins to begin with!
Then there’s Dylan, a property guy who thinks Willow should just sell the farm instead of trying to fix it. But Willow’s stubborn, and she challenges him to stick around and see if she can pull it off. As they work together, there’s this sweet, slow-building romance between them that feels really natural.
I loved how the book captures the charm of autumn and small-town life — you can really picture the pumpkin patch, the cozy coffee shops, and all the little moments that make the season special. Plus, it’s not just about the romance; it’s about fighting for what you believe in, community support, and taking chances.
If you like light, heartwarming stories with a bit of romance and a strong sense of place, this one’s definitely worth a read.

I just finished a good book. Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow by Victoria Walters is available soon and is one you should put on your list.

This was a cute and lighthearted fall read! The main character loves fall, and lives on a great piece of farm land however her father is contemplating selling the farm due to the lack of profit. This shows the energy and determination that can turn things around and help keep a farm in the family! This is a quick read!

Cute but average fake-Hallmark-esque autumnal romance. An OK read.
The vibes were there, the story had potential, the execution was very mid.
My biggest issue is that the writing style did not flow and felt clunky and somewhat basic.
Example: “I was up before it was light for the beginning of a new week, and the last full one before the start of October and the deadline I’d set to open up the pumpkin patch. I had a steamy shower to wake myself up along with a large cup of coffee before I headed out with Maple to give us both a walk and to get ahead on as many chores as I possibly could.”
There is nothing wrong with this bit per se, but… there is no life, nothing to keep me connected to the story. If anything, it pulls me out of it as I try to focus on what is being said in these long sentences.
Plus, this book is very much side characters ‘spontaneously’ ‘reminding’ the FMC about things to tell the reader what is up. Insert eye roll.
A few more eye roll breaks were needed during the more steamy scenes, for instance: “(…) I moaned out loud. He really knew what he was doing.”
Again, not bad bad, and I appreciate how hard (pun intended) it must be to write about sex, but this reminded me more about viral TikTok audios such as “she’s like really good” and “you’re doing amazing sweetie!” than it let me focus on the FMC and MMC.
Not sure if the story is set in the UK or the US. I think UK, as there is talk about jumpers and wellies, but the focus on four-ish local pumpkin farms, a nearby winery, and the American (wooden! not brick as mentioned in the book) farmhouse on the cover confused me.
1 star for the story, 1 star for the cute cover, half a star for the cosy autumnal vibes.
2.5 stars rounded up to 3 stars for dog Maple.
Thank you to Boldwood Books for inviting me to read this book!
I received an ARC of this book (thanks!) and these are my own opinions.
