Book four and the last goodbye.
1947 the war is over. Kitty Mccarthy her husband Michael drops a bombshell he's going back to Canada with or without her. They have been through so much and she thought this was a strong marriage but instead its in crisis, crying herself to sleep with no comfort from Michael. A woman's fight with help from friends, a new career and finding love again.
And what a journey ahead it becomes.
Truly touching read with powerful chapters to the end of this wonderful series. I certainly look forward to more work from this author.

Oh my, that was so sad yet happy at the same time. Kitty’s life is thrown into turmoil when Michael announces that he wants to return to his country of birth, before Kitty had a chance to get accustomed to the idea, he was gone, leaving no note or onward contact details.
After seeking out her good friend Stanley for some “brotherly” advice Kitty gathers al the courage she can find to make the journey to Canada to begin the search for her husband, but where to start? With Stanley’s connections they are able to fly out , providence is shining on them when they make contact with Ted who assures them he knows where to find lodgings for them although basic, with his cousin Mim. Although strange at first, Kitty soon fitted in with the lifestyle while Stanley started the search for his friend Michael, which was no easy task. Will they get the outcome they are looking for!
Recommend this, worthy of more than ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was so worth the wait! I would wait twice as long for another. Weren’t they blessed to meet Ted & Mim.
I was glad that Michael redeemed himself . I do feel that Amber is talking through this book. That ending, oh me!
What now for Glynis?
