I adored this book. Rebecca Raisin writes fun characters who are as quirky as they are tender-hearted. There are so many characters in this book besides Aubrey and Jasper. You may find other little love stories popping up on the Winter Wonderland Express.

Jasper made me swoon from the get-go, and Aubrey is the sweetest. The travel group of singles is a riot. They immediately capture your heart and attention.

An amazing setting with bits of character growth and romance.

Aubrey's fiance leaves the church minutes before they're supposed to get married - and just before Christmas. She's crushed that she won't get to go on her honeymoon, a luxury train visiting Europe's Christmas markets and Lapland. Aubrey ends up going on the trip on her own, and may have implied her new husband died in a horrible accident. A group of single passengers, including Aubrey, all end up spending time together and Aubrey starts to feel things for fellow traveler Jasper. Maybe Aubrey can be lucky in love after all?

To me, the absolute best part of this book is the setting. I wish that this train really existed and I could travel through Christmas markets and beautiful European cities in the winter (and that I could afford this luxury trip, but that's another matter). Getting a taste of all the cities was wonderful.

I think the more plot-driven aspects of the story were where I struggled more. Yes, Aubrey has some growth about what she wants. And yes, she and Jasper explore their feelings for one another. However, I don't think either of these aspects were really fully expanded upon, so I felt a bit disconnected from the characters and wasn't fully rooting for them the way that I hoped.

Overall, I still recommend this book if you're in it for the vibes of a Christmas market train. It's a cozy, feel-good story that would be perfect with a cup of hot chocolate at a ski lodge.

Rebecca Raisin creates a journey of self-discovery in Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express. The start of the story had me hooked with several laugh out loud moments. After being jilted at the alter, Aubrey decides to go on her honeymoon alone on the Winter Wonderland Express that travels through several countries across Europe. What ensues is a journey that strikes up friendship and camaraderie with a sprinkling of romance and new beginnings.

The characters were likeable and memorable - Rox and Princess in particular. I would have loved to have seen a video call between both of them. They would have gotten on like a house on fire.

I really wish that there had been more mention of being on the actual train. There was nothing about looking outside the window and seeing different landscapes and vistas. There was also no mention of how and where the train would park up so that the passengers could disembark to go and sightsee.

A fantastic read with the most amazing characters. Locations which come alive for the reader , and an exciting storyline.

This uses the romantic Christmas elements in a way that was what I was hoping for, it uses the overall feel that I wanted and enjoyed how good the romance was in this. Rebecca Raisin was able to weave a strong tale and enjoyed the overall feel that I was looking for. I thought the overall feel worked and how it had that feel that I wanting and thought the characters worked overall.

This was a great Christmas in July story, especially as I read it in the glorious sunshine of Tunisia by the poolside!
Aubrey starts the story on the morning of her wedding, as she is getting ready to walk down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband, Miles, but for whatever reason, that walk never happens as he leaves her stranded.
Jilted, Aubrey continues with her honeymoon trip — a dream of a festive journey aboard a luxury train decked out to celebrate Christmas, with stops at many Festive fairs across Europe, and finishing in Lapland. She finds herself surrounded by loved-up couples, and somehow ends up telling people her very new husband sadly passed away, rather than face the pity of folk if they knew she had been jilted.
What makes the story, above the fabulous wintery destinations, is the group of friends she makes on board, as the singletons find themselves at a table together, away from the lovey-dovey folk.
Princess, the fabulously wealthy widow times three, and Brian the tryer. There's Karen and CJ, and then there is Jasper. He's a journalist, a gentleman, and rather hot...
There are some real hoots along the way, as love is found by more than one person, as well as trying to work out a mystery about a breakup, all accompanying Aubrey's attempts to correct her friends on the real status of her love life - but no one wants to listen to her truths, insisting that she is dealing with the different stages of grief!
And, as I mentioned before, the different cities and markets mentioned make me want to board this Winter Wonderland, especially to have the chance to stay in the glass igloos in Lapland and see the Northern Lights while snuggled up with a loved one.
A great feel-good read.

Even though it's the height of summer, I loved this wintery romance with a twist!

When Aubrey (such a unique name) is jilted at the altar, she's sad, angry and confused, but decides to go on her honeymoon..alone.

The Winter Wonderland Express, her luxury escape, is everything she hoped it would be, and she finds a group of new friends too, including the handsome travel journalist Jasper.

The description of the scenery was so good I felt like I was there, and I enjoyed the slow burn between Aubrey and Jasper SO much!

If you're looking for the perfect festive book with found family, great friends and stunning scenery, this is it!

I loved reading this book, which had me hooked from the beginning.

When Aubrey is jilted on her wedding day she’s upset and wondering why her fiancé has done this.

As the honeymoon is already paid for she decides to go on the Winter Wonderland Express by herself. But realising that they are supposed to be a couple going, not wanting the other passengers to feel sorry for her, Aubrey concocts a story that Miles her husband died. Wanting to later inform the others the truth, she finds that each person has their own ideas on his death and they make you laugh.

I loved how her sister Rox was able to add her own take on Miles and what’s happened to him and no one has seen him since the non-wedding.

As the train goes through the different countries, friendships are formed on the train as well as new romances, a group come together and call themselves Unlucky in Love Travel Club, as they are all single.

When Aubrey meets Jasper, they soon find themselves attracted to each other, and they’re not the only ones.

I love the how each place was described that the train stopped at, the food that made your mouth water as well as it making you feel as though you were there with Aubrey and the others.

I highly recommend this book.

Such a sweet and swoon worthy book. This book had a lot of glimmers in it and was also a great example of what healthy adult relationship communication should be like.

Full of terrified butterflies, Aubrey turns up at the church on her wedding day , for her perfect Christmas wedding, only to find her bridegroom has had cold feet and jilted her! What can she do except escape on her magical honeymoon -for one! However, not wanting to tell her fellow travellers on this romantic Christmas wonderland journey that she's been jilted , she blurts out that her new husband has died. As with most stories ,it changes in the telling and talking of him having eating magic mushrooms, falling under a train etc quickly circulate. When her fellow travellers try to comfort her she tries -several times to say he's not really dead but that only makes them comfort her all the more. This magical luxury train journey stopping at the most romantic spots across Europe and ending in Lapland is designed as the ultimate honeymoon package. However it soon transpires that not everyone on board is part of the loved up brigade and a group of singletons join Aubrey in the Unlucky in Love club. One of these members is handsome travel writer Jasper who shares Aubrey's passion for travel and the attraction is instant. What follows is a jolly romp with the most quirky group of unlikely friends, each one lovable in their own way. My favourite is Princess - not just a name but a way of life ! There are some genuinely laugh out loud moments and I can recommend this book to anyone who enjoys travel, romance, humour, life!

Perfect Christmas book, gorgeous scenery, friendship, food, champagne and a concierge who dresses up in Christmas costumes… what more could you want? Aubrey has the life she wants to live but then she meets Miles and they reconnect. Marriage beckons and she finds her self walking up the aisle to marry the man of her dreams… fast forward to her honeymoon on the winter wonderland express where she meets the most amazing people and bonds in such a way that she makes friends for life and her life changes for the better.

This was a decent holiday romance that you can cozy up and read on a winters day. It wasn’t particularly memorable or outstanding but it also wasn’t horrible.

I loved this book. It was so magical. The train ride, the destinations, the food descriptions. Even though the book started out with heartbreak, I'm glad there was closer and a chance to heal and move forward. VanLife made an appearance and I hope Jasper and Aubrey's experience is everything they want it to be.

A woman is jilted on her wedding day and she goes on one of the most romantic honeymoon trips by herself and has the time of her life! I absolutely loved all the different cast of characters in this. Aubrey ends up meeting Jasper, a 6ft 2in Adonis, and she's trying to fight her growing attraction for him, but they are just too perfect for each other! This is only my second book by Rebecca Raisin and I loved it! This is a perfect Christmasy read! Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for my digital ARC!!

It’s no secret that Rebecca Raisin has quickly become one of my auto-read authors. Last Stop on the Winter Wonderland Express is just the latest in a line of books full of warmth, love, and self acceptance. I loved seeing Aubrey and Jasper’s journey as two single people on a couples’ trip. They’re both walking their own paths, but I loved how it brought them together.

This book has such a delightful cast of characters!!! Not only was I rooting for Aubrey and Jasper, I was also rooting for their dear friends- especially Princess!- to find happiness. There’s so much platonic love in this story that it’s impossible to not feel a sense of joy while reading it. It was one of those books that I just felt content the whole time reading it, as if I was curled up by the fire while it snowed outside.

While the circumstances of Aubrey’s honeymoon trip are less than ideal, the trip itinerary itself sounds like an absolute dream! Every place the characters visit is painted clearly into my mind. This book makes me want to travel and feel all the fun feelings that Aubrey and Jasper feel on their adventures.

While on the train she starts to evaluate her relationship with Miles. In the meantime she meets a group of singles on the train , who eventually call themselves the Unlucky in love travel club. She kind of gives them the idea that Miles had died noit that she was jilted. She meets Jasper and well see how that goes. All the characters are amazing but pay special attention to Princess, she is a character. This is a VERY GOOD READ. I recommend it highly.y.

Wonderful book. Perfect for anytime of year but especially in the run up to Christmas. Rebecca Raisin is one of my favourite authors and this latest book didn’t disappoint.

Aubrey decides to go on the Winter Wonderland Express honeymoon by herself, but doesn't want to be pitied so she makes up a story that her "husband" Miles died. She decides to come clean and the misunderstandings are hilarious! I found myself laughing out loud throughout the book. Aubrey's sister, Rox, adds her own bit of hilarity to the storyline.

On the train, friendships are made, new romances are formed, and a small group of singles come together and form the Unlucky In Love Travel Club. Jasper and Aubrey meet and it's soon apparent that they mesh in every way, but they're not the only ones to find a new romance.
I love the description of the places, the train, the sights, and the way the book made you feel like you were there. I binged this book in one setting and can totally see this being made into a movie!
