I remember Harvey Milk and his impact on politics and the LGBTQ community. To read his words here 50 years later is important to know who he was as a person. These profoundly critical interviews prove he was a brilliant politician and would have been so impactful in San Francisco politics. His advocation for the LGBTQ community stands today as rights are hard won . Well done to the author for sharing this body of work with gratitude.

I’m glad to have had the opportunity to read these two short interviews so I could learn more a bit more about Harvey Milk as a politician and as a person. The scenes were described vividly, so I could imagine being there in San Francisco myself. The narrative about his impact on history, and why this matters today, was very well-written too.

A quick yet enlightening read.
