I was so excited to see a book in this universe, I squealed out loud when I saw this up for request. Charley is a great protagonist, and the side characters aren’t too shabby either. This takes up where the third one left off; Samuel’s vampire brother is out to get him for the murder of their sire, but he likes to play a little before going in for the kill. We find out more about the backstory for Samuel and Shane, Charley is having some weird things happen to her, and Dog is acting a little out of character. This is a great installment in the series, and I ended this book being so angry at Dog and wanting the next book now. Highly recommend. Seriously fun series, you get so tucked in that before you know it you are on the last page chanting "more more more'. We'll developed characters that are eclectic and interesting, a strong plot, and of course vampires, werewolves, and magic. One of the best paranormal series out there.
