Thank you so much to Evermore & Netgalley for allowing me to read this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Ahhh, Cassie & Haden... this was such a beautiful, raw & emotional story and I loved every second of it. I'm such a sucker for a small-town cowboy romance and Paisley is SO bloody good at writing them 😍 This series just gets better and better.
Silver Pines has my heart & it was like revisiting old friends when Cece, Nash, Ginger, Cole & the rest of the fam appeared! They're the definition of 'found family' 😭
It wouldn't be a Paisley book without some spice and I'm so HERE for it 🥵🤭 Paisley had me swooning & blushing multiple times - I felt like everyone on my flight knew I was reading something spicy 😂 My poker face is horrific lol
Paisley has tackled the darker topics in this book, including anxiety / PTSD, in such a respectful & realistic way. She also acknowledges how important it is to talk about them and that we CAN heal, but it takes time & the right support system around us.
Freeing the Wild was like embracing an old friend. Cosy, sweet & just like home.
Bring on the next one, cowboy 👀

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for granting me an arc of this book! Another win from Paisley hope for me, the silver pines series is becoming a new favorite cowboy romance series! I loved Cassie and Hayden they were so adorable together, I love that Cassie was a country singer and I love how music was incorporated l, I felt like this one was the most spicy and I had such a fun time Paisley can write spicy 🌶️ this one discussed mental health which is really important and handled really well. Had such a great time with this one and really lucky to read this early another 5 star series for me!

Freeing the Wild 🤠💚
(Book #4 Silver Pines Series)
ARC Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Paisley knows how to write a found family so to be back reading about Silver Pines again was such a blessing. I had the best time reading about some of my favourite characters and couples ever. This book had me giggling, laughing, smiling and above all enjoying every moment with these characters.
Haden the MMC was such a treat to read about. He gave me soft golden retriever vibes but had the dirtiest mouth. Good lord that truck scene at the start was the hottest scene of the book and I literally couldn’t stop thinking about it 😮💨🔥
Cassie the FMC had qualities that I saw in myself. The anxiety rep was really well done, it was addressed well and Cass got help for it which is a good thing to see. The way she put herself first had me cheering and I was so proud of her.
I did find Cassie’s reasoning for going back to Silver Pines was valid but I felt that what happened at the festival was sort of random. I think if a more traumatic event like a shooting or robbery would’ve made more sense and less random. I couldn’t really get behind the idea of the barrier falling and how that girl died the way she did. I feel that a more realistic approach would’ve made it more impactful.
There wasn’t much going on compared to the other books but I wasn’t mad about it. I really liked learning about the main characters pasts and the demons that followed them. I found their relationship to be so pure and exactly what they needed. They had each other to lean on and it was so beautiful to see them have their happy ending.
That ending set up the next book and oh my lord i’m so beyond excited to read about Asher and Olivia. I have been dying for their book and I just know it’ll be epic. In denial that their book is the last one in the series but god I’m excited 🤭🥰
Thankyou so much to Netgalley and Random House UK Cornerstone for the ARC copy!

Freeing the Wild is book 4 in the Silver Pines series by Paisley Hope and she has not slowed down!
Cassie is a up and coming country star who meets Hayden - a ranch hand at her sister Ivy's husband's ranch. The two meet and hit it off but she slips away without saying goodbye. While performing an accident happens which causes Cassie to return to Silver Pines where her sister and mum are around to help her. Just so happens the cabin she's staying in is right next door to Hayden so the two can't avoid each other forever.
Oh my god. I'll be honest with the Ashby family out of siblings I was worried that I wouldn't be as interested in the story but Ms. Hope was on fire writing this one. Cassie and Hayden are just *perfect* for each other and it really shows in how they support each other both through Cassie's mental health struggles after the concert accident and how Cassie supports Hayden through issues with his dad. And don't even get me started on how Hayden is with Penny Lane & Marlow <3 He is perfect and and the two of them together made me so happy!
As I mentioned there is some mental health struggles for Cassie so please be aware of the trigger warnings before you read!
The Cassie and Hayden have become my very close second favourite characters in the Silver Pines series (After Cole and Ginger of course!)
I am both so excited and sad for book 5 because I'm veeerrry curious about Asher but that will be the end of the series :(

I am utterly obsessed with the Silver Pines world and everyone in it. She writes the best cowboys and the most loveable, strong women, and I can't get enough of them. I will genuinely be so sad when this series comes to an end. I'm going to make a bold statement here and say that Haden and Cassie's story was my favourite (which is a big deal considering how much I adore Wade & Ivy!), but I honestly fell so hard for them both - although it took me slightly longer to get there with Cass.
The world-building is perfection and I just want to pack up all my bags, move to Silver Pines, and find me a cowboy of my very own.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Here we have the story of Hayden and Cassie, the ranch top hand with a soft spot for animals and the pop star just wanting to write music.
I absolutely loved this and was so excited to receive the ARCo for this as I loved the previous 3 books. I have to admit this wasn’t my favourite of the set (that goes to Cole and Ginger) but Paisley knows how to write THE best cowboy book boyfriends. I loved the vulnerability in this book and was tearful at some points. I loved all the previous characters and how this just kept the story developing without feeling like it was for tokens sake.
I was so thankful for this read - although it is so worth the wait until release! I also cannot wait for the next one!!!!

Cassie is a rising star and Haden is happy with his simple life at the ranch. They’re on two different paths but destiny keeps pushing them back together. After tragedy strikes on tour Cassie turns to her family in Laurel Creek where Haden happens to live. Getting attached isn’t an option, her stay at the ranch is temporary but their connection is undeniable.
This one didn’t disappoint. I mean you simply can’t go wrong with a small town romance with hot cowboys and not angels. Haden and Cassie are wonderful characters and their story stands out as the most emotional in the series.
Cassie has a traumatic experience at a concert where someone ends up dead. The reader gets to follow her journey toward healing and taking charge of her future. It’s powerful stuff and it’s one I’ll remember for a long time.
I highly recommend this book and series. Especially if you enjoy authors such as Elsie Silver, Lyla Sage and Jessica Peterson.
Read this if you like
❄️Small town romance
🩵One night stand
🎶Cowboy x singer songwriter
✨Forced proximity

My favourite Silver Pines novel so far!
I loved these two characters and seeing their individual growth was so good! The journey we went on with them was a joy to read
The chemistry between these two characters was so good from the start
- one night stand
- instant attraction and the best chemistry
- neighbours
- ranch hand x country singer
I'm loving seeing Paisley's writing develop over this series and I can't wait to read more of her books, they just get better and better
Thank you to Evermore books and NetGalley for the eARC - all opinions are my own

Freeing the Wild is the fourth book in Paisley Hope’s Silver Pines series, and honestly I’m pretty devastated that we’ve only got one more book to go. I have completely adored this series; each and every book in it has been consistently brilliant and I just cannot get enough of this incredible cast of characters and the beauty of the ranch.
Rising country star Cassie Spencer's music career is just taking off when tragedy strikes mid-tour. Seeking solace, she retreats to rural Kentucky to escape the spotlight and visit her family. Haden Westbrook, the charming heartthrob of Laurel Creek only wants one thing: a peaceful life tending to the Silver Pines ranch and his rescue horses. But when free-spirited Cassie hurricanes back into town, his world turns upside down. Especially since the last time he saw her ended with a steamy night in his truck…
They’d promised then it’d be a one-time thing. But now, as Cassie and Haden spend more time together, their undeniable chemistry reignites. Cassie's stay at Silver Pines was meant to be temporary. But as their spring fling turns into something deeper, can Haden convince her to stay?
As with the other books in this series there is so much to love about this one including:
🎤 we’re back in amongst all the gorgeous small town vibes of Laurel Creek and the beauty of Silver Pines, and we can add to this the wonderful Penny Lane rescue centre
🐎 we’re back with one of the best family/found families going. I love the Ashbys and all those that surround them. It was also wonderful to see the evolution of the previous characters’ stories we’ve already met.
🎤 now to our MCs - Hayden has been a great previous supporting character and so I was so pleased to see him getting his own story. Our FMC Cassie is a wonderfully real and complicated character who just sp happens to be Ivy’s little sister
🐎 the relationship between these two worked so well, it’s clear from the start there is an instant attraction between them but then life, and fear get in the way, so we’re left with a lovely second chance situation
🎤 we get forced proximity, and a snowed in situation
🐎 there are healing journeys for both our MCs that are dealt with sensitively and thoughtfully
🎤 I also loved how this pair encouraged and supported one another to follow their dreams, and not be dragged down by others’ expectations and demands
I cannot get enough of this series and will gladly read anything Hope writes.

I was very lucky to have been selected to get this ARC! And I am so believably thankful that I did, because this book (like the previous 3) completely and utterly blew me away. I have been out the cowboy/small town romance genre for a while now and when I got this, I jumped back into it and my gosh, I have the cowboy romance bug again!
5⭐️ / 3 🌶️
In Freeing the Wild, we follow Haden and Cassie's love story! And I must add, it is perfect, Haden is my new favourite book boyfriend and I really don't know what I am going to do with my life now that I am not reading about him and Cassie!
Cassie is the wild child who is completely constricted in her music career, after a traumatic concert, Cassie needs time away from that scene and her overpowering manager. She is lead to Silver Pine Ranch to spend time with her family and gets the pleasure of meeting Haden, the handsome rancher and we have a veryyyy nice scene in his pick up! We follow their love story that dances around snow storms, horrible managers, anxiety, nights out, an overbearing dad, family dinners and multiple spicy scenes!!

I absolutely ate this book up and an easy 5⭐️ from me!
I CANNOT WAIT FOR ASHER AND OLIVIA'S STORY!!

Harden and Cassie’s story was so good. I’ve loved every one of these books so far, every time I think they can’t get better they do!
Hot cowboy romance is rapidly becoming my favourite genre. I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to read this book.

Another great story from Paisley Hope and this series, although maybe the least raunchy yet! Thoroughly enjoyable following the story of the couple.

I recently got my hands on an ARC of this book, and wow, paisley hope really knocked it out of the park! I was in a bit of a reading slump, but this gem pulled me right back into the world of books. The chemistry between Harden and Cassie is just breathtaking; their connection is so palpable from start to finish.
What I loved most was the balance of emotions. There were parts that had me laughing out loud, while others tugged at my heartstrings. It's that mix of humour and deeper moments that makes this story truly special.
If you're into stories about cowboys and singers, you definitely have to check this out. I will be recommending it to everyone I know! Great job, paisley Hope-you've done it again!

I want to thank NetGalley for approving me for an ARC of this book. I have loved the previous books in this series and had to jump straight into this one.
I think this book has got to be my favourite of the series. I'm a sucker for a story that features a musician and when you throw in a cowboy, I'm in my happy place. Cassie and Haden had an instant connection which I'm not usually a fan of but Paisley Hope's writing has a way of winning you over. From the minute Cassie stumbled onto the ranch you knew Haden was a gonner.
This book also dealt with some tough topics, without giving away spoilers, I thought Cassie's character journey was written beautifully. You felt all her insecurities and fears whilst willing her to overcome them.
Haden was a grumpy, possessive, golden retriever you couldn't help but love. His dreams and ambitions were wonderful and I loved the work he did outside the ranch.
Overall this small town romance was a hit with me. I'm excited to see what's coming up next!
🌟🌟🌟🌟✨

Tender, bold, and beautifully freeing — I loved every second of this.
Freeing the Wild took me on such an unexpected emotional ride — one minute I was smiling at the quiet sweetness, the next I was clutching the book to my chest. Paisley has a way of writing that’s both gentle and raw, like you’re being seen while also being invited to look inward.
The characters felt like real people — messy, thoughtful, scared, brave. I was rooting for them from the moment they shared that first slightly-too-long glance.
This book feels like a balm for anyone who’s ever had to unlearn shame or rediscover their own voice. It’s tender. It’s fierce. It’s freeing.

ARC Review: Freeing the Wild by Paisley Hope
I had the chance to read an early copy of Freeing the Wild and really enjoyed it! The story follows Cassie, a talented musician who has a chance encounter with Haden at a bar while visiting her sister Ivy in Kentucky. One thing leads to another, and she ends up in his truck that night - which kicks off a connection neither of them expected.
After that, Cassie returns to her life, but everything changes when she experiences a traumatic accident during a concert. Shaken and needing to recover, she finds herself back at the ranch - this time not just passing through, but trying to put the pieces of her life back together.
Haden, the quiet, rugged rancher who also helps rehabilitate horses, steps in as an anchor for her. He’s steady, grounded, and incredibly patient - the kind of guy who knows when to give space and when to show up. Their chemistry is intense, and the spicy scenes are frequent and very well done. They’re hot, but they also feel connected to their healing and growing relationship.
I really loved the mix of the musician and cowboy worlds - Cassie’s fire and Haden’s calm made for such a great opposites-attract dynamic. It’s emotional, sexy, and full of heart.
If you like small-town romance with depth, spice, and characters trying to find themselves again, this one’s definitely worth picking up.

I adored paisleys writing! Every cowboy romance just gets better! I really like the way they supported each other and communicated what they were going through.
It had such a good representation of mental struggles that can affect a job. The found family in this series show such support and compassion towards everyone around them.
Loved this new addition to the series!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Freeing the Wild is the fourth installment in Paisley Hope’s Silver Pines Ranch series—and it might be my favorite yet. Cowboys and country singers? Yes, please! This small-town romance hits all the right notes.
Hayden is the kind of swoon-worthy main character readers fall hard for—steady, kind, and a little rugged. And Cassie? Absolutely adorable with a bit of sass. Their chemistry is instant but never feels rushed, and I was completely swept up in their journey.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series, and Freeing the Wild continues the heartfelt, down-to-earth charm that makes Silver Pines Ranch so addictive. I can’t wait to see how the series wraps up!
Thanks to NetGalley and Random House for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

3.5 Caramel Corn Stars ⭐️
Spicy Rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
“I love you with everything I am, Cass …” His voice is a whisper against my skin. “Every goddamn beat of my heart is for you. You’re my every moment, Princess. Always.”
I wasn’t really sure what to expect coming from Wolf.e, which was one of the spiciest and dirtiest books ever, into a more rom-com-y cowboy contemporary romance. But I’m in my cowboy era, so I thought I’d give it a chance. This is the first book in the Wild series that I’ve read, and I think that might have impacted my reading experience a bit, because there are a lot of characters in this book from the previous books in the series, and at times, I struggled to work out how they all fit into the story.
I always wish authors who have these interconnected stories would include a family tree or a simple diagram at the beginning to help readers figure out whose book is whose. I wasn’t sure who were brothers, who were friends, and who were just people in the background. The more I read, the easier it became to understand, and by the end of the book, I knew exactly who was who. But right at the start, as that development wasn’t really there, I WAS CONFUSED... BUT that’s on me. If you’ve read all the other books in the series, you’ll probably already be in love with this world and these people, so you won't have this problem...
𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨:
The story starts chaotically with a wild meet-cute. Cassie is visiting her sister’s ranch after her sister has had a baby, where she stops by for the night. While on the ranch, she tries to get some content for social media. She persuades one of the ranch hands to let her ride a particularly wild horse, and after very quickly getting thrown off, Haden comes running to the rescue. Later that night, they run into each other again at a local bar and share a steamy little encounter in his truck. After which Cassie ghosts him and he’s left wondering who the mysterious woman was, only to find out it’s his boss’s wife’s little sister. A few months later, while Cassie is on tour, a horrific, tragic event takes place that leaves her with performance anxiety, grief, and PTSD. She’s unable to perform and chooses to take a break to spend time with family and figure out what she wants out of life. That means she ends up back at the ranch, back where Haden is... and he’s less than thrilled.
𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨:
What I loved about this was how deeply character-driven it was. There’s a lot that happens internally for Cassie from the very beginning. She’s a wild child, but she’s also heavily restricted by her career and her manager, who basically dictates what she says, does, and wears. She’s lost touch with what she wants. After the accident, she’s forced to hit a massive reset button, and she’s completely lost about how to find herself again. I just loved her overall growth and how she found herself by eventually freeing her wild again!
Haden, for all his grumpiness, is actually a sweetheart. He’s kind, generous with his time, thoughtful, sincere, and while he’s got his own family issues (mainly around his father’s disapproval) he knows exactly what he wants. He wants a ranch. He wants to be a cowboy. And now, whether he admits it or not, he wants Cassie. His mind might fight it, but his heart is already set.
I love that Haden is Cassie’s biggest cheerleader. He wants what’s best for her, and he supports her even when it means putting his own feelings on the back burner. He makes sure she puts herself first, something she hasn’t done in a long time. And yes, the sexual tension between them is real. Their encounters are seriously steamy.
I also really enjoyed the found family element. Once I figured out who everyone was, I could see how deep the bonds ran. This group goes beyond surface-level connections, and you feel it.
And I adored how mental health-positive this book was. Cassie knows she can’t get through everything on her own, so she gets help. She sees a therapist. The story doesn’t stigmatise it. In fact, it celebrates the fact that she’s brave enough to ask for help and pursue it.

Overall, yes, this is a cliché story about a cowboy and a famous country music star falling for each other. But that’s kind of the point. We watch Hallmark movies for the same reason. It’s not about the what, it’s about the how. And this one stands out because of the way it shows Cassie’s journey.. It shows how she finds her way back after the trauma. And the fact that Haden helps her do that was just BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you to Random House UK, Netgalley and Paisley Hope for the gifted copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own

I am living for the cowboy/rancher romance genre right now!
I was so happy to get approved for an ARC of the 4th instalment in the Silver Pines series, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
I've found with most of these ranching series that I often find the story with the "adopted" family member as the main protagonist are usually my favourite, and with 'Freeing the Wild' this was definitely the case. I loved Hayden!
