Thankyou paisley and NetGalley for an Arc copy of this book.
Haden is a top ranch hand and Cassie is a country singer (as well as Ivy’s little sister). Haden saves Cassie after she is thrown from an unruly horse and carries her to safety, and they end up spending just one night together under the impression they would never see each other again. Months later a traumatic event means Cassie is heading back to Silver Pines ranch for some R&R time and ends up next door to Haden, who isn’t too pleased at first. Eventually they spend more and more time together, but will love be enough to make Cassie stay?
Tropes including the best found family, country singer x cowboy, one night stand, forced proximity.
Another great story from paisley. This was 5 stars from me and some great spice too.

This is a heartfelt, small-town romance filled with charm, chemistry, and plenty of country soul. Rising country star Cassie Spencer, the “Princess of Bluegrass,” finds herself at a crossroads after tragedy strikes during her tour. Seeking solace in Kentucky with her sister Ivy, she never expects to meet Haden Westbrook — a rugged, quietly captivating cowboy who prefers the simple life on his ranch.
Cassie and Haden come from completely different worlds, but their undeniable connection grows as they explore the beauty of Sugarland Mountain and navigate their personal struggles. I really enjoyed how their relationship developed slowly and naturally, with sparks, banter, and emotional depth woven throughout. Haden’s steady, grounded nature complements Cassie’s free-spirited energy perfectly, making them easy to root for.
Paisley Hope does a wonderful job creating a vivid sense of place, from the picturesque farmlands to the close-knit Laurel Creek community. While I wished a few emotional beats had been explored more deeply, the pacing works well, and the romance feels both sweet and satisfying.
Perfect for fans of small-town love stories, cowboy romances, and slow-burn chemistry, Freeing the Wild delivers a tender, uplifting escape that leaves you smiling.

I have the best time whenever I'm back on Silver Pines Ranch. This series is filled with such wholesome, but steamy comfort reads, and I loved coming home for Haden & Cassie's story.
We have moved away slightly from the core Ashby family, to Ivy's sister and up-and-coming country star, Cassie, and Silver Pines ranch hand Haden. The full gang still made plenty of appearances though, and we still got the same close-knit banter and the representation of women and female relationships is top-tier.
Cassie and Haden's relationship got off to such an explosive start. The chemistry was on-point! Their first time together was so hot, and if your familiar with the way Paisley writes spice, you know you're in for a treat.
It did give 'insta-love' initially, but as the plot developed, and we got to know the characters a bit better, we were able to understand their vulnerabilities and ambitions of the characters, and it became clear why they were drawn to each other. It developed into a delicious slow-burn which had me swooning and tearing up along the way.
I really liked the way Paisley delved into MH issues with Cassie's character, particularly how Cassie prioritised herself and pushed back against the cause of her anxieties. I also loved the contradictions in Haden's character. He was so tender and loving towards Cassie (he had a caring nature in general), and I adored the way he spoke about her in his internal monologue, but the mouth on him?! Devine.
It's not my favourite of the series (missing a little bit of spark for me), but really that's just a testament to how good this series is! It was a good small town, modern romance. Great banter, sizzling chemistry, legendary side characters and a good balance of plot and spice.

Paisley Hope has done it again - another hit! I managed to devour the whole book on two short flights to Spain from the UK.
Singer songwriter x ranch hand - a mix I didn’t know I needed!
It was lovely being back in silver pines and I think I’d do just about anything to visit this fictional ranch and meet this wholesome family unit!
I felt like the ‘problem’ in the novel was resolved fairly quickly but this may have been because I binged the whole book in all honesty!

4.5⭐️ 3🌶️
Thank you to Paisley Hope, Penguin Random House and NetGalley for an advanced copy of Freeing the Wild.
I absolutely devoured this book, as I did with the rest in the series! Paisley Hope just knows how to write a cowboy (but they don’t have cows 😳).
This was such a sweet story to read, more than just a love story between two people. It was a story of healing and finding yourself in a world where anything can happen. I am looking for my own Haden, please and thank you.

Hehehehe, giggling and kicking my feet at this!! So brilliant the characters are so well rounded, sad that this series is coming to an end :(

4.5 ⭐
This series just gets better and better with every book. I adored the love story in this, super sexy and spicy! Paisley Hope has me obsessing over cowboys again 🥵

4.5⭐️
Honestly, when I first met Cassie I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this book. BOY was I wrong!!
This story was so incredibly healing and so amazing to watch them both develop as characters throughout.
There is nothing better than a cowboy that talks you through it from start to finish and honestly Haden rivals Wade in that department.
Every single one of Paisley’s books I have rated 4 stars or above and I think that speaks volumes about how much of an incredible author she is.

Freeing the Wild is the fourth installment in the Silver Pines Ranch series by Paisley Hope
This book was a deeply engaging and steamy romance
Cassie Spencer, beloved in the country music world, retreats to Silver Pines Ranch after a life‑altering tragedy. There, she collides with Haden Westbrook—a cowboy whose world feels worlds apart from hers, yet sparks between them ignite instantly.
Swoon 🫠🫠🫠

Another great Silver Pines story, probably my favourite yet! I’m a sucker for a romance with a grief storyline, I love it when we get to explore the full spectrum of human emotions, and the grief and trauma aspects of this story were handled really well for me. It felt like there was growth for both characters individually, as well as partnership. The banter was great, the spice was HOT and the pacing of the story was just right. A wonderful small town / cowboy romance from Paisley Hope once again!

Thanks to Penguin Random House and NetGalley for the ARC.
Saying I adore this series is an understatement! It is unbelievably good and constantly has me feeling all the emotions I want from a good romance.
Haden and Cassie are fantastic characters with rich back stories and interesting goals in life. From the get go I loved these characters and the banter between them. Silver Pines Ranch has been built up and added to more over the last 4 books and feels like home. Paisley has built up a beautiful world for the characters that is comforting and makes you feel like a you are a part of it. I'm emotionally attached to many of these characters and love seeing how their lives have progressed since their book.
I cannot wait for book 5 but will be sad when this journey is over. Paisley's writing will be one I will be following and reading going forward, she's become an auto buy author for me and this will be a comfort series I see myself going back to over and over again.

I can’t say enough about how much I adore the Silver Pines series and Paisley’s incredible storytelling. I’ve read every book in the series, and with each one I fall more in love with this world I never want to leave it or for it to end. This one is Book 4 was beautifully written, blending the perfect amount of romance, spice, and beloved tropes. Cassie and Hayden’s banter had me hooked, and the way Paisley portrayed anxiety and panic attacks was both authentic and heartfelt. The characters, the chemistry, the emotions. Everything was just so good. This might just be my new favourite in the series!

Thank you netgalley/random house publishing for this arc of book 4 in the silver pines series.
Another feel good cowboy romance that makes you giggle and gives you all the feels.
I loved Cassie and Hayden’s story. Both loveable characters throughout that makes your fall in love with the Silver Pines ranch and the family/found family relationships even more.
The story touches on grief and trauma and the effects this can have on one’s wellbeing. The way this is touched upon and discussed throughout the book is well executed with both characters finding true comfort with one another.
Can’t wait for the final book!

This book was so good! I love Paisley’s writing style and how she writes her characters. I am an absolute sucker for a cowboy romance and this hit the spot! Perfect for fans of Elsie Silver!

This book is quite possibly my favourite in the series - it just included everything I needed in a book; character development, connection, slow burn, enemies to lover, spice, and a genuine bond to the audience. I felt all the emotions and honestly fell in love with
I enjoyed the element of exploring careers like a musician / songwriter. The representation of burnout and looking after mental health and actually saying NO and speaking up for yourself was executed wonderfully.
The relationship and banter between Haden and Cassie felt real and watching their connection grow and them fall in love had my kicking my feet in the air! It’s rare for me to actually find 2 main characters that I actually love and I feel like Paisley is very skilled at doing this!
Even the secondary characters stood out for me and the storyline exploring into Haden buying his own ranch, it was a great addition to the plot and I found myself hooked with every chapter.
I reached out to Paisley regarding an arc being a fan of her work and I’m so grateful for the opportunity of reading this ahead of the release date. I’m so excited for the last book next year too. This is one of my favourite cowboy romance series that I will never stop recommending. Thank you so much for the opportunity of reading this early.

Overall rating 5⭐️
Paisley has gone and done it again. I have loved all the books so far in the Silver Pines but this one surprised me. It’s the best in the series so far and I didn’t think Cole and Gingers book would be beaten.
There was a deep connection between Hayden and Cassie, with sensitive mental health representation. They are both looking to find themselves and they found a home in each other. As always with Paisley, there was also great spice.
The writing style was great with a dual POV.
It’s also great reading the continuation of the other main characters stories from the first three books and can’t wait for the next one.
I was lucky to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was stunning and I absolutely loved it. The storyline had me feeling all the emotions and really pulled at my heartstrings. It had such a well developed plot, it was one I never wanted to end.
The main characters had so much depth to them and I fell in love with them. I also really enjoyed the mental health rep in this book, as someone who has dealt with mental health, it was such a realistic take and made me connect with Cassie so much more.
Thank you NetGalley, Paisley Hope and Random House UK for this ARC

I've read paisley hope before and had a good time, I struggled a little more with this one. I think I just found it harder to connect with the characters this time. Still fun and what you expect from this genre but felt a little more hard work.

I was intrigued to find out this book was about Cassie & Haden as I was expecting Olivia and Asher next but having the surprise of this couple without a lot of build up was a really intriguing surprise!
I loved both characters a lot and was rooting for them both individually to reach their goals, wishes and desires, as well as rooting for them as a couple!
Freeing the wild was a really enjoyable ride, full of love, wit, yearning, swooning moments all tied in with battles of past experiences that profoundly changed our characters.
I loved Cassie’s journey to getting to exactly where she wanted to be. Battling other people’s opinions of her and her body, overcoming hardships and thriving - I loved to see it. I felt connected to her in so many ways.
Our broody ranch hand, Haden is nothing short of a dream. As always, Paisley’s men leave me in a melted puddle of awe. I was so gone for how much patience and understanding he gave Cassie and how he finally fought for himself.
The Holiday reference?! Automatic winner for me.
A fun, emotional and spicy ride. Paisleys work is always beautifully curated, fun food for the soul!

Thank you to NetGalley, Paisley Hope and Cornerstone for the ARC.
Paisley Hope is the queen of spicy cowboy romance! Haden Westbrook is definitely swoon worthy much like the other MMC’s she has written.
The fourth installment of the Silver Pines series follows Cassie Spencer a rising country music star as she takes some time out to visit her family on Silver Pines ranch. There she meets Haden Westbrook who tends to the horses on the ranch and wants a quiet life.
I loved the chemistry from the get go between Cassie and Haden and I enjoyed the cameos from the characters in the previous books in the series. If you’re looking for a small town romance then the Silver Pines series is the perfect escape for you. It was emotional, lighthearted and easy to read. I’m excited to read the last book in this series and looking forward to whatever Paisley Hope writes next.
