This was a good read…creepy, twisty and full of very interesting characters. There are past secrets that come to light…shocking the camp attendees.
A fast paced read.
There is no way I would have went into the wood by myself!! lol
Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the complimentary copy.

So so good!!!! Was a little predictable but still really liked it! There were twists I did not expect! While reading definitely creeped you out and made you want to keep reading!

Told over a dual timeline and mostly by Zoey and Heather, we are given the scenario of missing girls from a summer camp over the years - Heather being the aunt of Zoey. The book features an underlying love story through all the potential paedophile possibilities which are there. It flips easily between the two time frames and you become caught up in the whole saga. Then you find there is more than one connection between Heather and her niece as there is a background tale which isn't quite making sense !!
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC to review.

No One Saw Her Go was a fast paced book that was fantastic. Quite a few thrilling and suspenseful moments that I enjoyed.

Well this read was just like a delightful bag of Revels.. Fully loaded with an assortment of treats.
This is my first time reading work by this author and I am not disappointed this book put the EE in crEEpy the EE in EErie & the OO in gOOsbumps!!
Zoey is searching for answers surrounding her aunts disappearance.. Is all as it seems? Full of secrets incased in more secrets buried with some dark truths, layers of mystery mixed with intense emotions with waves of twists!!
The duel povs was done so well with the switch between Zoeys present & her Aunts past..!!
A satisfying, fast paced thriller I would recommend 👌
Thank you to Netgally & storm publishing for an early ARC in return for my honest thoughts ♡

This was... a book I read.
I have more bad than good to say about this book, honestly. I liked the premise behind it, but could tell off the bat that it was going to be a little forced. She goes to the camp where her aunt disappeared from to get answers, but realistically there could have been no answers. But this is a book, so obviously she was going to get all the answers at the camp, and that takes away from the enjoyment of unraveling the mystery. Zoey really didn't uncover anything herself either, and instead the reader was given an insane amount of exposition at the end of the book to wrap things up. Honestly, I would have been fine with her never finding out what happened, and that instead the readers are the only one who knows what happened since we are getting Heathers POV at the same time.
Overall, did not enjoy. The writing was pedestrian, too repetitive, and relied WAY too much on useless exposition while making the main character unnecessary to the story. I would not recommend.

No One Saw Her Go by Sally Royer-Derr is a gripping psychological thriller.
Ok this is my first time reading her work and now I’m going to go through her backlist and read her three previous titles.
It's fast, twisty and certainly keeps you on your toes...there were so many layers waiting to be uncovered.
Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for this ARC.

First off, thank you to the author and publisher for the opportunity to read this book!
This was my third book by this author. I do like this one better than her book prior to this one. I absolutely love campy books and settings, it gives that nostalgia feeling. One thing I will say that I feel as though will be a common comment is the repetition. To some people that won't bother, but I grasp information once I read it so I have a toxic trait of picking up on repetition...maybe I'm the problem. Haha.
Anyways, another thing I also really liked was the cold case. I LOVE reading books with a trope of finding out what happened to someone who disappeared or was murdered decades ago. That will automatically pull me into a story.
It did feel like a YA read. I read a couple of reviews before reading it and I have to say that I agree. That's not a bad thing, though, because it made the read a lot faster. I enjoyed it!

This is actually a 4.5 star read for me.
If you know me, you know I'm a SUCKER for dual pov's and dual timelines and this book has them both!! The book follows the main character, Zoey (present day), and her Aunt Heather (1989). Seeing both character's perspectives created suspense and made me want to keep reading.
It takes place at a summer camp creating the perfect eerie backdrop for a summer thriller.
The twists were great & I truly did not want to put this book down.
This book is my third read from this author and it might just be my favorite (so far)!
Thanks to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for a copy of this eARC!

I absolutely loved this book by Sally. The flow of the book was perfect, the chapters were at a great length too, not too long and not too short.
The plot was fantastic, so many twists and turns through the entire book. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, Zoey, Dean and Heather are very likable.
And the ending, oh dear, it was lovely. It wrapped the entire book up perfectly.
Thank you for the early access to read No One Saw Her Go and I wish every success to Sally on publication day

I really enjoyed the dual POVs, which added depth and kept the pacing fresh throughout. While there weren’t any truly jaw-dropping twists or shocking moments, the plot still held my interest and delivered a satisfying experience overall. A great book for fans of light thrillers or anyone looking for an engaging beach/summer read

Zoey Montgomery’s aunt, Heather, disappeared from Camp Medley 35 years ago. Zoey, a criminology student, takes a summer job as a counselor at the camp to investigate her aunt’s disappearance and to try to provide answers for her heartbroken mother. The book follows her search for answers while raising questions about Heather’s fate and Zoey’s own safety. The plot includes elements such as murder, mystery, and intrigue, with multiple character developments and unexpected turns throughout. I was drawn in by the first chapter and was franticly flipping pages to find out what happened next.
This was my first book by Sally Royer- Derr and I cannot wait to dive into Sally’s other books. No One Saw Her Go will publish on August 1, 2025. I sincerely appreciate NetGalley and Storm Publishing for providing me with an advance e-copy to read in exchange for my honest review.

Summer camp setting and a history of missing teenage girls...sounds like the perfect summer mystery and thriller!
Years ago, Heather ran away from home and camped out near a summer camp to be with her boyfriend. Before the summer was over, her sister never heard from her again. Many years later, her niece, Zoey, goes back to the camp to get some questions answered. Oh how this sounded promising! While the thoughts and ideas were solid, the execution fell short for me. The interactions and dialogues between the characters felt really unnatural, some characters needed more development and many points in the story felt jarringly rushed. It's unfortunate.
I do want to thank Storm Publishing for providing an advanced digital copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are entirely my own.

This is the second book that I have read by Sally Royer-Derr and I wasn't disappointed.
Criminology student, Zoey Montgomery had only just learned that her mother had a sister, a sister who disappeared from a summer camp, a sister who her mother was still grieving.
Having been unceremoniously dumped by the boy that she thought that she was going to spend the rest of her life with, Zoey decided to make use of her holiday by signing up as a camp councillor at Camp Medley, the last place that her aunt Heather had been seen, her mother deserved to know what happened to her sister and Zoey was just the person to look for answers.
Zoey's room mate was Mel, daughter of the camp owners but Zoey would quickly discover that the camp was run by the most dysfunctional and dangerous family that she was ever likely to meet.
Strange things were happening at the camp and Zoey's refusal to answer her mothers pleas to come home would nearly cost her her life.
This is a gripping story, the tension and suspense quickly creep up, the author description of the creepy woods, the frightening sounds and the terrifying swamps made me feel as though I was there. The story is written over two timelines but it flows well and I really didn't know how it would end.
An enjoyable read although I did think that the story of Craig was a step too far.
Thank you Storm publishing and Net Gallery for this ARC, my review is totally voluntary

Wow what a twisted story! I was hooked by this story from page one. Told thru dual timelines both keeping me turning the pages. It certainly kept me guessing to the very end.

After glancing through some of the other reviews, mine will be an outlier. I was not overly impressed or eager to want to read this book after I got started. It was clear the direction it was going with the abuse/abduction part of the storyline and I was not there for it. There was slight twist at the end that I was not expecting, which bumped up my star rating.

No One Saw Her Go was as twisty as can be with a dash of urban legend and a whole lot of secrets!!! 💫💫💫💫💫
Zoey recently found out that her mom had a sister who disappeared when she was sixteen. Zoey decides to work at the camp where her Aunt Heather disappeared. We get multiple points of view, and the story develops quite nicely. I gasped when the twist was revealed. As the story unfolds, we see why everyone wanted to keep it all a secret.
Thank you, Netgalley and Storm Publishing, for this ARC. All opinions are entirely my own.

Zoey Montgomery takes a job at Camp Medley as a camp counsellor. What no one knows is her aunt went missing from here 30 years ago. Zoey, who is a criminology student, plans to investigate this after an internship with her boyfriend, Craig, fell through. It was told over different time periods mainly with Zoey and her aunt, Heather. Suddenly, in the present time, things start to happen, which leaves Zoey in a situation out of her control. It was well written, very descriptive with plenty of twists and turns, that led to a dramatic ending!

The fourth book by Sally Roger-Deer I have read and enjoyed. Another book with dual timelines well used. The story centres around one woman's struggle for survival and independence and another woman's quest to find answers about her aunt. This plot line all leads to a gripping can't put down book, I read 86% of it in one sitting. Thanks to Storm Publishing and NetGalley for the chance to ARC this book.

No One Saw Her Go by Sally Royer-Derr, When Zoe applies to be a camp counselor for the summer at Camp Melody the reasons or multiple. The first reason is she wants to find out what happened to her aunt Heather when she went missing from the camp years before in 1989 the second reason is to find out why her boyfriend who lives 30 minutes from the camp, ghosted her and now claims to be touring Europe something she doesn’t believe. like most of Mrs Royer-Derrs books there’s two povs one is with Heather, she’s 16 and after her stepdad wants a kid came into her room the night before she decides to run away and live at the summer camp where her boyfriend Dean is working. The second one is Zoe who goes to the camp and search of answers and when she arrives she’s happy to learn Mel her roommate is the daughter of the family that has owned the camp since the beginning. When she tries to ask Mel‘s aunt and mom about Heather they act as if they barely remember her and really have nothing to add to her sad tail, but when Mel takes her to her family home to dig through the basement of camp records Zoe finds a picture of her aunt Heather along with Mels aunt and mom Jennifer and Sherry. Zoe‘s efforts will not be wasted but when she finds out the truth she also finds out answers to questions she didn’t even ask and almost loses her life in the process. I really enjoy the authors out of the box endings and although you have to suspend belief it is still so worth getting through it I find her books compulsively readable but this one sadly not so much. It just kept being a pee and repeat situation with Zoe saying if you could tell me anything about my aunt that’s why I’m here blah blah blah she just kept saying it and kept getting the same answers but then when she’s confronted with the cashier who clearly know something about something Zoe instead fears her and just wants to get away from her which made no sense to me. The ending was still the crazy endings I’ve come to expect from the Author and I totally enjoyed that but for a lot of of the middle of the book it was mainly just repetition with the exception of her trying to find out what happened to her boyfriend Craig which the answer to that is also a doozy. if you love the type of thrillers that you know you will have to suspend belief but are down to do it because it’s so much fun the new will enjoy this book if you skip a few of the middle chapters I will not say don’t read it because the beginning and most of the end was really good the answers are outrageous and so worth getting to it’s just a repetition if the author could fix that this really would be a great book and the kind I come to expect from the Author. So I guess what I’m saying is read it at your own risk. #NetGalley,#StormPublishing, #TheBlindReviewer, #MyHonestReview, #SallyRoyerDerr, #No oneSawHerGo,
