This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning. No One Saw Her Go is a dual-timeline / dual-perspective psychological thriller. The dual timelines and perspectives were handled extremely well! What begins as a cold case (Zoey’s aunt has been missing for decades) turns into something much more, as we dive into the mysterious characters in this campground setting and the secrets they hold. There are plenty of chilling twists to this haunting story that kept me on edge to the very end. If you enjoy suspenseful stories that build steadily, filled with emotion and hope, you’ll love this book!

Criminology student Zoey Montgomery accepts a summer counselor job at Camp Medley, but she’s not there just for the sunshine and s’mores—she's determined to uncover the truth behind her Aunt Heather’s mysterious disappearance from the camp over thirty years ago. What starts as a search for answers soon turns chilling as Zoey begins to notice eerie patterns in the camp's past, including whispers of other missing girls and unsettling accidents. As the line between paranoia and reality blurs, Zoey starts to question if something sinister is still lurking in the woods—and if she’s the next target.
The characters were so well-developed, especially Zoey, whose determination to uncover the truth about her aunt Heather was both inspiring and emotional. Her bond with her mother added a touching layer to the story, and I really enjoyed her dynamic with Wynn. But Heather’s backstory is what really got to me—heartbreaking and powerful. Her relationship with Dean was unexpectedly moving and gave the book a deeper emotional impact than I expected from a thriller.
This book had everything I love: suspense, mystery, drama, some creepy moments, and a twisty, emotional plot. There’s murder, gaslighting, secrets, and just the right amount of heart to make it more than just another thriller. If you enjoy fast-paced thrillers with lots of layers and shocking reveals, this one is a must-read.

"even though I am excited to solve my first case, this is not where I planned to spend my summer before my senior year of college. I thought I'd be interning at a victims service crisis center in Harrisburg with Craig this summer, not leading camp sing-a-longs for twelve year old girls."

A camp ghost story that’s real life! And you get to experience the story through the victim's eyes. Zoey goes to Camp Medley to find answers about her missing aunt from years ago. Little does she know, she will also find out about other crimes as well as one closer to her than she thinks. The story is told in present time with Zoey, as well as her aunt, Heather who went missing years before. There’s mystery in characters and each hides a secret that could get Zoey closer to the truth. Great storyline and keeps you wanting to know what happened.
The beginning was intriguing and every detail played a role. However, I felt the ending was a bit rushed and the whole story could have been told had she just talked to the right person from the beginning. Great concept, just could have been a bit clearer on transitions.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The parallels between Zoey and her Aunt Heathers journeys made for a great read! Zoey's hunt to find answers on her Aunt's disappearance by following her last known location was one POV of the book, the other was her Aunt's POV and I really enjoyed the multiple POV's. They were seamlessly written. The plot twists were surprising throughout and there were some I totally did not expect. The characters were very well developed and the book gave some eerie creepy feels. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it! It's a fast paced, quick read of a summer camp with all the thrilling vibes!

Thank you to NetGalley, author Sally Royer-Derr and Storm publishing for the ARC and opportunity to give an honest review.
Perhaps this will be an unpopular opinion but this was not a good book. The premise was there but the execution just wasn’t. It felt like a high school English assignment.
Half of the book was just repetition. It quite literally repeated over and over the same character saying the same thing. There was no real character development and everything felt like it was just thrown in there. It was a whole lot of storyline ideas thrown into one book.
The writing style was very juvenile, perhaps this was to be more of a YA read as that is where it would fall in my opinion. The dialogue between characters was cringy for lack of a better word. While I get the characters were teenagers, the writing and dialogue made them sound like they were still 10.
The ending once again just felt thrown together and not overly realistic. Yes, it’s a book but the thrillers that feel like they could be real is what I really want to read.
For a YA reader this may be okay.

Publishes August 1.

This is the second book I have read by this author and I quite enjoyed it. It was fast-paced and had an intriguing plot that kept me invested in the characters. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

In No One Saw Her Go, the plot preview attracted me and the storyline was relatively effective. However, the writing style, for me, was lacking. The sentences seemed too simple and choppy, and this included parts surely not done for the suspense effect. With details repeated often and scant character development, the book didn’t hold my interest. However, teenage readers may enjoy it.

No One Saw her Go by Sally Royer-Derr is a psychological thriller that intricately interlaces the narratives of Zoey Montgomery and her aunt Heather, whose enigmatic disappearance from Camp Medley several decades ago establishes the foundation for a compelling story. As a criminology student, Zoey secures a summer position at the camp, motivated by her fascination with cold cases and an earnest desire to uncover the truth surrounding her aunt's vanishing. The narrative alternates between Zoey's contemporary investigation in 2024 and Heather's experiences in 1989, creating a haunting portrayal of the camp's shadowy history.
The novel's structure, characterized by multiple perspectives and timelines, amplifies the suspense, enabling you to engage with the emotional complexities of both characters. The unsettling backdrop of a summer camp contributes to an eerie atmosphere, replete with urban legends and accounts of missing girls that sustain heightened tension. As Zoey probes deeper into the camp's legacy, unexpected plot twists and chilling revelations unfold, resulting in an engrossing reading experience.
The narrative effectively balances suspense with character development, capturing the emotional upheaval surrounding Heather's disappearance and Zoey's relentless pursuit of closure. While at times, I did find a few actions/plot twists to be foreseeable, the pacing and the revelations that kept coming up, kept me engrossed throughout. This novel would be a great read for anyone that likes mystery and suspense.

When Zoey takes a job at a camp for kids she has an ulterior motive, to find out what happened to her missing aunt who was last seen at the camp. She begins by questioning the family that run the camp but they are less than welcoming to her. When she is warned by woman at the local store to leave she begins to think she should but then it's too late.
Although a bit repetitive in parts this story keeps the reader turning pages until it's finished. I read this book in an evening and loved it. Thanks to netgalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC. Great read.

This book was everything 🤌🏻🤌🏻
I can’t explain how I feel right now. I had different emotions while reading this, and I can assure you that it was the best feelings.
I forgot that I was reading the book, I was so immersive to the story, I read this book in one sitting!
I loved it everything about it. It was perfectly written, the plot was so smart and clever. The characters were so captivating too.
The dual POV between past and present created the suspense, all the emotions, and the creepiness.
This is fast paced, creepy, with twists that made my jaw drop a few times.
No One Saw Her Go is entertaining and an emotional read.
Thank you so much Storm Publishing and to the author Sally Royer-Derr for my eARC via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
Highly recommend!

The storyline of this book intrigued me, so I gave it a go. The beginning was repetitive... more than one sentence was used to basically say the same thing. These should have been fixed during editing. Once the action started, this problem went away, and the story moved along at a good pace. As we found out what happened to Heather, it kept my interest and I wanted to see how it ended.

This is my first book by this author
The cover really drew me in and the description of the story
I love a good story focused on a mystery at a camp
The dual pov of the book went back and forth effortlessly and gave us an insight to the past and present
When it switched as you go further in the book it absolutely kept me on the edge of my seat! I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone it’s thrilling emotional and really just tells a good story

🌟🌟🌟💫
The summer before Zoey's senior year of college she learns she had an Aunt named Heather! Wait...what? Apparently, Heather went missing years ago when she was just a teen herself. Just another missing person where the case was never solved. Zoey's mother always quietly mourned the loss of her sister.
Zoey now has a mission... she wants to find answers for her mom and solve the mystery of her missing aunt.
First stop… the summer camp where Heather was last seen.
Told from two perspectives:
Heather 1989 - An abusive family situation forced Heather to run away. As a counselor at a summer camp, her boyfriend sets her up in a tent on the periphery of the camp, joining her whenever he can. Once summer is over they vow to stay together forever! (Ahhh…young love)🥰
Zoey 2024 - Hires on as a counselor at the same camp where Heather was last seen. Will she find the answers she’s searching for? Or perhaps uncover secrets that should’ve stayed hidden.
A totally bingeable read I finished in one sitting. Short chapters kept me hooked with the infamous “just one more” chapter syndrome.😂 Next thing I knew… finished!

GREAT READ! I really enjoyed the twists and turns. This book kept me on the edge of my seat! Highly recommend, 5*s!

Zoe is a criminology student who decides to spend the summer at a camp where her aunt disappeared in the 80s. The camp characters were all a little sketchy in their own way, and I loved the camp atmosphere for the setting.
This definitely needs some additional editing before publication. Overall a decent thriller with some unexpected twists.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for access to this eARC.

No One Saw Her Go pulled me in right away. I loved how it slowly built tension, layer by layer. The setting—an old summer camp with a dark past—was the perfect backdrop for this kind of story. It had just the right amount of creepiness, mystery, and emotional weight.
The main character, Zoey, was strong and determined, and I liked that she wasn’t afraid to dig into her aunt’s disappearance—even when it put her in danger. The more she uncovered, the more twisted and shocking things got. Every time I thought I had it figured out, something new came up that completely threw me off. The ending was a complete surprise!
This book had a little bit of everything: suspense, emotion, family secrets, and a mystery that kept me guessing until the very end. If you’re into thrillers that actually surprise you and stick with you after you finish, this one’s worth the read. Thank you, NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC.

I enjoyed that this one was told in dual POV between Zoey searching for answers behind her Aunt Heathers disappearance and Heather's POV. There were lots of secrets and betrayal throughout this book. I thought it was fast paced and at times creepy. There was heartbreak, mystery, and darkness in this one. I loved Zoey's determination and persistence at finding answers. A first for me by this author and I'll look for more from her going forward.

This book had me not wanting to put it down. I just had to find out what happened. I liked the story line and the present and flashing back throughout. I wasn’t expecting it to all come together like it did. I’m giving this one 4 starts only because the end felt a little rushed, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC.

No One Saw Her Go is a dual timeline/dual POV story set at a summer camp. Zoey finds out that her mother had a sister who disappeared from a summer camp when she was a teenager. So naturally, Zoey wants to get a job at the camp to see if she can find out what happened to her Aunt Heather and give her mother some closure.
It was fast paced and perfect to read during a day of traveling! It was one of those stories where you had all the pieces and you know that they should go together somehow but just not quite sure how. Keeps you flipping the pages trying to piece it together. Then it all comes together at the end and leaves you going "Whoa!". All in all, an enjoyable, quick, easy thriller!

Stories playing in summer camps is one of the tropes I love in both books and movies, so, of course I had to read this one. And what can I say - it really did not disappoint!
The story is told in the POV of both Zoey and her aunt Heather, who was last seen in the summer camp is is going to work at as a counselor. Zoey mainly does this to get closure for her mother, but also to get over her boyfriend recently breaking up with her.
Some twists I did guess right - which really did not take away any of the fun for me - and some really surprised me. Also, the ending, oh boi! Left me surely staring at the wall after reading. Very much recommended, you all need to go and get the book once it does publish!
