I Will Find You by Jessica Huntley is a fast-paced, dual-POV suspense novel that delivers on tension, strong characters, and emotional depth. With short, punchy chapters and smooth prose, this book pulled me in early and didn’t let go until the final page.

The alternating perspectives between Bonnie and Annalise were compelling and kept the narrative fresh. I especially enjoyed the “Then” chapters, they were well-placed and added layers of context that deepened the stakes. Bonnie’s reflections, particularly around her hiking habit, were unexpectedly inspiring. So much so that I took the book out with me on a hike and found myself even more immersed in the story, an experience I’ll remember fondly.

The cabin scenes in the middle were the highlight for me. That delicious tension of not knowing who to trust gave off classic thriller vibes, and Huntley wrote the group dynamics and claustrophobic setting exceptionally well. The suspense builds steadily rather than through jaw-dropping twists, but the payoff is solid and satisfying. The epilogue in particular rounded things off neatly without feeling too neat.

Character-wise, Bonnie and Annalise both stood out as resilient, layered women with heavy pasts and complicated emotional landscapes. Bonnie is kind, patient, and grounded, but almost to a fault, her continued forgiveness of became increasingly frustrating. Still, her quiet strength made her a protagonist worth rooting for. Annalise’s chapters were intriguing, I wanted more of her backstory, and while I liked her POV, the shift between first and third person was a bit jarring.

As for Stefan… let’s just say he was written well enough to make me want to throw him off a mountain. For a supposedly experienced hiker, he made some baffling decisions that tested my patience, but he served his purpose in the plot.

Jessica Huntley is a writer to watch, this was my first read by her, but definitely not my last.

This thriller had me hooked from the very first page! I love the snowed-in, trapped in isolation theme, and the author did an amazing job at setting the tone of this book. With the dark, chilling atmosphere, the abundance of psychological tension, and the creepy old woman, I was biting my nails with nervousness and fear the entire time. There were quite a few secrets and layers to this story that actually surprised me. I found myself gasping quite often. The writing was good. Repetitive in some areas, but not enough to discourage my enjoyment. I liked the setup with duo POVs of Bonnie and Annalisse. I felt that this added more depth to the characters; however, I wanted a little more from Annalisse. She was obviously mentally unstable, but I didn't quite get the closure I wanted from her story. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. This is my first read by Huntley and I will definitely be looking for more to devour. I would definitely recommend!

I've read one of Jessica Huntley's books several years ago and I liked it enough, although I thought there was some room for improvement.
So when I found out her newest book is soon getting published and is about a couple getting stuck in a small snowed in cabin with a creepy old woman I was in.

The writing style flowed nicely and was easy to read. The short chapters combined with 2 POVs meant I never got tired of the story and kept turning pages.

The story itself was intriguing. Bonnie's chapters about her running habit motivated me to go out on a hike and read the book outside, which was an amazing experience. The middle part was my favourite, because the energy in the cabin, where you can't trust anyone was delightful. The ending was satisfying and I didn't notice any plot holes.

Bonnie and Annalise were strong female characters with unfortunate lives, who dealt with everything in their own way. Stefan was dislikeable, but well-written.

I was pleasantly surprised by this story and I'm gonna keep my eye out for the next Jessica Huntley book.

The beginning of this book pulled me in and I was curious to see how the story would unfold. The short chapters kept the pace moving quickly and made this a pretty fast read.

I enjoyed Annalise’s POV and her background, I would have liked more of it. But I was a little confused about the switching between first and third person in her chapters.

The suspense built nicely, but I was hoping for something a bit more shocking or twisty. However, I did like how the epilogue ended the story.

Overall, this is a solid thriller, but maybe not entirely for me. I’d recommend it to readers who are into suspense and morally complex characters.

The tension was built up right from the start, the snow storm hitting, stuck in the Alps, you couldn't ask for a more eerie, tense environment. And it became even tenser when they came across Annalise cabin and essentially became a locked in thriller situation - no escape from the cabin due to the snow, a creepy woman and finding out things that you simply cannot explain in a good way - incredible.
The tension increased the whole way through, and there were so many little plot twists that utterly shocked me and made me need to keep reading, I just couldn't put it down I was well and truly sat on the edge of my seat while reading this.

While crossing the Swiss Alps, a couple finds themselves caught in a snowstorm and take refuge in a cabin inhabited by an old woman with a mysterious and disturbing past. Stranded by the snowstorm, Bonnie and Steffan have no choice but to endure, but their proximity to this mysterious woman leads to some tension, and long-hidden lies are finally revealed.

In this snowy, closed-door novel, the author keeps us on the edge of our seats, alternating chapters centering around the two women, the past catching up with the present as secrets are revealed.

This is a tightly wound psychological thriller that thrives on isolation, secrets, and shifting loyalties. If you enjoy stories where the real threat grows from within and every character hides something then this novel delivers a chilling, unpredictable ride.

Bonnie is hiking the Swiss Alps with her husband when they get lost and stumble upon a secluded cabin owned by a woman named Annalise. Annalise lives completely alone in this tiny cabin, and as I was reading from her point of view, I kept trying to figure out if she was just an eccentric recluse or someone far more dangerous. This story is told in a dual timeline, which added depth and intrigue as pieces slowly came together. The suspense was fantastic. I genuinely couldn’t predict what was going to happen next. There were some wild plot twists that kept me flipping pages. The writing was strong, and the pacing made it a quick, engaging read. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading more from this author.

This was an exciting page turner dark kept me wanting to see it through I think everyone will enjoy this fast paced read

WHAT I LOVED - The Swiss Alps. I love stories set in spectacular, cold climates. There is a lot of room there for mystery to unfold.

WHAT I LIKED - The 2 person perspectives. I actually would have enjoyed MORE from Annalise's side.

WHAT I DISLIKED - I could have used a little more detail about the characters' pasts.

WOULD I RECOMMEND? Probably. It would definitely make for a nice cozy, snowed in for the weekend type of read.

During their trip, a large storm comes forcing them to seek shelter in an old cabin who is inhabited by a strange woman. Their safety is threatened and the truths that come out are revealed one by one. This was such a fun, thrilling read. Leaving you in suspense. Highly recommend this if you love reading about suspense, crime, danger and secrets.

Bonnie and her husband Steffan stay at a strangers (Annalise) secluded cabin after a storm forces them to seek shelter while searching for her brother’s remains on the Swiss Alps. They quickly realize Annalise isn’t as innocent and welcoming as they had first imagined. Hidden secrets from Steffan begin to emerge that make Bonnie question how well she knows her own husband.

This book is split into 3 parts and is told through the POV of Bonnie and Annalise. Their POVs alternate between their past and present and transitions smoothly.

Part 1 consists of Bonnie and her husband’s journey of their hike and their initial impression of Annalise and vise Versace.
Part 2 is when secrets unravel and things get more intense.
Part 3 is the most nerve racking part of the story and my favorite part.

It has untrustworthy characters with twisted secrets. The details of Annalise cabin and her characteristics were unsettling. Most of the plot twist were unpredictable and interesting. The ending was satisfying and tied the story together. Annalise past was sad to read about.

The only thing I didn’t like was the way Bonnie handled certain situations and at times the story felt slow.

I really liked this book along with her other book Room 21.

I really wanted to like this one as the premise sounded incredibly interesting however this book just wasn’t for me.

I will say that I read this book quickly and it was short so if you’re in need of that kind of book then you might want to give it a go.

This book contained the POV of Bonnie and Annalise, both of them in the present and in the past. I found that the chapters were short (which I normally love) but in this case the constant switch between POVs meant there wasn’t any flow to the narrative and in all honesty both Bonnie and Annalise’s chapter sounded like they were coming from the same character.

Furthermore, on the front cover it says “a gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist” and “the truth with chill you to the bone”. This book was neither of those things so I just feel disappointed because the plot was predictable and even the last twist left me feeling like wow… is that it?

Maybe this would be good for people wanting to try the thriller genre, but sadly it just wasn’t for me.

This is a thriller that I won't be forgetting anytime soon. I was still contemplating it after the last page. The bat crazy characters had me shaking my head but drawing me in. The plot felt a little bit scary and I loved the setting of the isolated cabin which feels like a real life of living for some.

This book was not what I expected from the title. I knew it would be a thriller of some sort but didn't have snow and crazy old lady on my bingo card.

We follow Bonnie and her husband Steffan on a hike in the Swiss Alps, which we eventually learn is more than just a fun challenge for the outdoorsy couple. We also meet Abigail, in a past timeline - a young, naive country girl newlywed. Eventually their stories intertwine in the most off putting way.

This book was my nightmare come to life - that cabin buried in snow, I could feel the walls closing in on me, and the imagined odors of BO, mystery meat, waste bucket, etc. I would have tunneled out of there and willingly died in a snow drift to get away and that's not even addressing the Abigail of it all.

To then have the list of lies come tumbling out of a feverish Steffan was yet another unexpected stressor. He deserved his end and then some.

I raced through this book because I needed Bonnie to get out of that cabin so I could stop reading about it.

Trapped together Bonnie’s marriage begins to crack, Annalise becomes more menacing and sinister, and everyone has a secret. Someone is going to die on that mountain.. but who.

I enjoyed it though it did feel very similar to a book I have already read. Kept me entertained and there were minimal plot holes. The author did a good job at answering the questions the reader may have had, and her writing did help with the suspense of the story. The characters could have been more developed, they fell a little flat for me, not as memorable. Overall it was a good read and would recommend to others.

This book was full of twists and the end of each chapter left me wanting more! I was not the biggest fan of how it switched from first person and third person POV for some of the chapters but other than that I really enjoyed this book! I wanted to scream at Bonnie a few times because I was so wrapped up in her character! I definitely cannot wait to read more from this author, this was a first for me but definitely not the last!

This thriller had so many twists and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! It was very engaging, and I was never able to predict what was going to happen next. This book would make an excellent movie! I think this because the movie that played in my head while reading this book was great. The author did an amazing job at giving descriptions that can create amazing visuals. I have a great love for nature survival stories, and this story delivered. I enjoyed reading this one and I really like how they revealed the secrets!! Although from the start that husband of hers gave me the ick… so I was expecting the BS just not as bad as it was like i audibly gasped a few times reading!!
