This was such a sweet and short read. I had a really good time reading it and it was perfect for a light read.
The story is about Anna and Noah, who are more likely than they think to begin. It’s about new beginnings and being true to yourself.
Read this if you want a light hearted read. The writing wasn’t anything special, it even felt at times a bit flat but it was still an enjoyable read. I will definitely read more by T. Atkins if I get the chance to do so!
Thank you to NetGalley for this Earc!

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC! This was such a charming and feel-good read. It’s light, hopeful, and perfect for when you need a quick escape. The story flows effortlessly and is ideal for a one-sitting read. A delightful pick-me-up!

Anna and Noah have a bit of a meet-cute at the thrift store where Anna works. Little do they both know that they're just two super-rich kids who simply want to exist and fall in love like a couple of normies but instead they're pressured by their families to conform to the demands of high society. This is a quick and sweet novella with insta-attraction and predominant themes of coming to terms with who you really are and what you want in life. It was cute enough but there's not really all that much that's new here. Both have wise-cracking best friends who support and love them both, which was a nice sub-plot. Anna and Noah were likable, even though there were definitely classist preconceived ideas on Noah's part. Honestly, I think I liked Anna more than Noah but they were sweet together. This is a low-steam romance with an HEA, and a great way to spend an evening. :) 3.5 stars overall. One last thing: why on earth didn't Noah press charges against his ex for the clock's disappearance? I sure would have, but I guess I just don't understand how the rich do things lol. Thank you to NetGalley for providing a complimentary copy of this book, all opinions are my own.

Rating: 3 stars!
If you made a highlight reel of a highlight reel of a cutesy romance book, you would have: Thrifted Hearts. There wasn't a whole lot of mystery of what the premise of the book is since its so short, and there isn't a lot of mystery going on between the main characters, but for a sub-100 page short story, it was cute! If you love thrift stores, happily ever afters, and quick reads, you would enjoy this!
Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

An enjoyable shirt story with cozy vibes and a small message of being yourself is the most important thing.
Wish it was slightly longer so we could do more of a dive into the backgrounds of the MC and into their relationship but overall a cozy read

I am reminding myself that as a novella, of course it’s not going to be incredibly detailed with lots of rich backstory BUT I did still feel kind of dropped into the middle of a story like I should know these people already. While did enjoy the premise of this and finished reading it, I think the *insta* love trope is just not for me, which is not any fault to the author, just my own opinion. Other than that it was a quick, fun story about two people that are looking for a change and end up finding each other as well.

This quick and sweet story has all the makings of a modern Cinderella tale, complete with new beginnings, second chances, and the spark of unexpected love.
Anna’s journey toward reclaiming her identity and stepping out from the shadow of her family’s expectations was the emotional heart of the story. Her character showed glimpses of depth and growth, and I appreciated the message of letting go in order to move forward.
However, I found myself wishing for more time with the characters. The fast pace left little room for the romance to feel fully earned, and I personally struggled to connect with Noah as a love interest. His reactions, particularly in moments of conflict, felt overly dramatic and, at times, ungrounded, making it difficult to root for the relationship. He just didn’t quite live up to the “book boyfriend” potential I was hoping for. That said, I really enjoyed the side storyline featuring Jessie and Carter, which added charm and a sense of warmth to the narrative. With a bit more development and emotional layering, this story could have had an even stronger impact.
Thrifted Hearts has a lovely premise and a sincere message at its core. I look forward to seeing how T. Atkins continues to grow as a storyteller.

this was an enjoyable short novella. I liked the main characters, Anna and Noah and their best friends also. there was a lot of insta love happening though, which is not one of my favorite tropes.

This was a really good novella! I liked the characters, although the main couple felt a bit flat sometimes (but I get it, since it was a novella and the author didn't have the same liberty has she would on a full length book). I liked the side couple too, and the irony of that ending!

Thrifted Hearts is a quick and very easy novella. I loved the setting at the thrift store but once the story started to take off it began to lose me. The focus felt like it was completely centered around social status and not the budding romance between Noah and Anna. The two have very little chemistry. The writing started to fall flat for me and the dialogue between Carter and Jessie was slightly cringey. There were some parts of the book that confused me. Anna’s teenage room was a 90’s capsule… considering I was 10 years old on 95 and I’m now 40…. Exactly how old were Anna and Noah in this story?! Because the author made it sound like it was her room while she was an older teen making her almost mid 40s?!? Yet her, Noah and their friends Carter and Jessie acted like immature 20 year olds. I don’t think the author thought that part through when writing it into the story. Another odd part was Anna being familiar with Taylor and them running in a small social circle but not knowing her boyfriend at the time they were together. That seemed pretty far fetched. I really wanted to like this story but it just wasn’t for me.

Anna had always lived her life according to plan, her parents plan, but when that plan started to feel more like a cage than a dream, she makes a bold decision. She walked away from the life that was made for her for something real and she didn’t expect Noah. This was such a cute story and I really connected to the characters.

This book is a salute to new love, secind chances and new beginnings.. so cute. Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion

3* An afternoon read.
I wanted a quick read as a change from murder mysteries and thrillers. This uncomplicated novella, Thrifted Hearts, fitted the bill. It's a cosy romance with a happy ending. It's also cheesy, Hallmarky and stereotypical with some badly behaved characters. At only 94 pages long, it suited me for a lazy afternoon.

Noah's priceless grandmother's clock was donated by a vindictive ex girlfriend so he goes to the thrift shop expecting to hunt it down. What does actually find? A beautiful girl named Anna who devotes time to help him find this clock. Days later the clock turns up and she calls Noah who repays her by taking her to lunch. After that lunch things fall into place where both Anna and Noah like each other. They are two people from the same wealthy, suffocating lifestyle but don't know each other; however, they both want different lives for themselves. Anna loves to volunteer and wants to give back inspiring Noah to see the good in her and want her more. Eventually she finds out who he really is but then at a gala they both attend Anna's true wealthy identity comes out. Will Noah feel betrayed or still want something with her?
This was a cute, sweet novella and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was an interesting storyline and liked the concept. I just wished the ending wouldn't have been so quick to wrap up. I feel like it was missing something. Overall, I would recommend for a quick romance read!
Thanks to NetGalley, T. Atkins, and Victory Editing Group for allowing me to review this ARC!

This novella had a lot of potential. I liked the cozy thrift store setting, and it could’ve been such a cute comfort read. But the pacing was a bit slow (in my opinion), the writing felt a little juvenile at times and I struggled to feel any real chemistry between the characters.
Anna’s constant back and forth got frustrating and the main conflict didn’t feel necessary. Their meet cute at the beginning was literally just Noah asking for help at the thrift store, Anna leading him to the antique section, and saying, “maybe it’s in the back—leave your number at the front.” Like… nice? But he thought she worked there, so wasn’t she just doing her job? It just didn't feel like the big meaningful moment the rest of the story treated it as.
In the end though, it’s a chill, low stakes romance that might work for some people. It just didn’t do a lot for me.

Oh my gosh! So dang cute! Everything you need in clean, closed door romance wrapped up in a novella! My first from this author—hoping this is maybe the start of a series??? Would love to read more! *I received a complimentary ARC from the author/publishing company via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

Shoutout to Netgalley for the ARC read. Even though it was a short story, it was a romance that you wouldn't want to miss out on. Nothing was dragged out, but straight to the point. I hope Anna and Noah's love story continues.
Anna-just trying to find herself without having her family money tied to her name. Finding her meaning to life and trying to get away from a society that seems to only care about money and appearances.
Noah-who thought had his life all together until he met Anna. Realized what he was missing out on and what was most important to him.
Carter and Jessie: both loyal to their friends. Like best friends who tell it like it is.
This was such a cute romance read.

Absolutely adorable!! A quick, satisfying little read with great characters and a wonderful setting. Would definitely recommend.

This was such a cute Mistaken Identity romance! The opening was really easy to picture thanks to the author’s vivid descriptions. One of my favorite micro tropes popped up, the Well-Meaning Meddler, and I loved that. I’m also a big fan of secondary characters playing a strong role, and for such a short novella, it handled that really well with the family on both sides.
I enjoy reading novellas like this when I’m in a bit of a book slump, they’re the perfect reset. While it’s not exactly instalove (which I personally love), the romance kicks in pretty quickly, and the story stays focused on it. It’s a sweet, short romance with just enough drama to keep things interesting without ever feeling overwhelming.
3 Stars: Comfy and entertaining.

Thrifted Hearts MADE my weekend of thrifting and beach-going! This novella was the perfect read while getting some sun after my morning of thrifting. It definitely put me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
T. Atkins packed quite a punch in this short story, enough to make you swoon a little (its a very sweet story) and have hope for what some may have given up on. The main characters (Anna & Noah) are well rounded, as is the story line (perfect movement throughout) with an ending to make you smile for an extended period of time. It is definitely a feel good read!
Add this to your e-reader ASAP...it's the perfect "instant gratification" type read and a wonderful introduction to T. Atkins if you aren't already familiar with her.
I received this as an ARC from Netgalley and have chosen to leave my honest feedback.
