Update: rerelease ALC
Thank you NetGalley and Tantor audio for this alc.
All I knew going into this book: emotional damage.
So here’s the thing though, I was expecting to be completely wrecked for the whole book but it didn’t really come until part 3. I do think it is a beautiful book. All of the relationships here are so strong. You can’t help but to fall for Jonah. And I’m going to stop now cause if I don’t I’ll start crying again. Definitely worth the read.

I enjoyed listening to this story about not giving up on your partner when life is tough. Hearing the journey Jonah had to go through was hard. Being in his position, and having someone you loved walk away from you when you were going to be stuck in a hopeless position and then finding love again unexpectedly really gave me hope that’s not all hope is lost out there… beautiful story.

5/5 stars

This was very sad and at the same time so beautiful story. I loved it, but it also hurt. Usually I don't cry because of movies and/or books but this managed to make me cry. And I'm out of words what else to say. One of the best reads this year for sure.

I know this'll stick with me for awhile and to get a closure I might have to read also book 2, but first I have to gather myself. I highly recommend it, but be prepared to the ending.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the ALC.

It was a good heartbreaking romance. I don’t think it needed to be nearly as long as it was but I had a good time listening to it.

Wow! This book left me wrecked & contemplating life & how important connecting with the right person can be. I did not know what to expect from this book & Emma Scott nearly took me out. This story is heartbreakingly beautiful. The transformation these two MC's go through was written so beautifully & honestly.

Kacey Dawson is a guitarist in a very successful up & coming rock band. Having been kicked out of her home as a teenager, she's found success writing music & touring with her band. She's definitely living the high & mighty rockstar life & it's starting to take a toll on her. Partying hard every night, show after show, she winds up in the back of a limo, unconscious with no one to look after her.

Jonah Fletcher is a wickedly talented glass artist by day & a limo driver by night in Vegas. He's in the middle of trying to finish his "big" glass installation & show. He's determined to stamp his name & legacy on this life. When he runs into Kacey, vomiting, barley able to keep herself upright, he just wants the night to be over but instead he makes the decision to help take care of her. Neither of them have ANY IDEA how much this one night will end up changing their lives forever!

The real crux of this story is not about falling in love but rather the effect that being LOVED by someone can have on us. Kacey & Jonah had both decided that being in love was just a distraction, something they didn't need or want & even though being in love doesn't solve your problems, it sure can have a lasting affect on your life, both in joy & heartache. The last 45 minutes of this book had me in a full-on mess. Tears streaming down my face. I knew it was coming & I still wasn't prepared for how Emma played this all out.

This is such a beautiful story & it really shows how wonderful it can be to love someone & be in a relationship but also how painful it can be to have to say goodbye to them, even when you know it's coming.

I LOVED Jonah's character. He was ALL the things. Sweet, thoughtful, caring & totally obsessed with this girl. Kacey was tough for me in the beginning. She's not that likable but once Jonah takes the time to just be her friend, her personality & purpose for life completely change. He truly made her want to be better. He saved her from self-destruction & opened her eyes to what true happiness really is. She cared for him so carefully & tenderly and in turn she helped Jonah as well. He left this earth KNOWING that he was LOVED by her!

🎧Let's talk audio: Caitlin & Nelson were fantastic & captivating as they performed this beautiful & grueling story! I was especially impressed with Caitlin & the tough, emotional scenes she had to narrate towards the end. Everything felt so genuine & real. Nelson's portrayal of the man adored by most, talented beyond measure & trying to stay relevant was beautiful. I can't recommend this book enough & the audio really brings out all the emotions, both beautiful & heartbreaking to life.

For my girls who love to have their hearts ripped out & put back together, this one is an ABSOLUTE MUST! This is book ONE in a duet so you're left hanging a bit but both books & audios are already out. This is one that's gonna stay with me for a long time. Beautifully done, Emma Scott.

Thanks to Emma Scott, Tantor Audio & NetGalley for a copy of the audio to review. All thought are my own.

This story was equally heartwarming and heartbreaking, and my tear ducts are unwell upon finishing. Straight into book two I go!

Narration was very well done, I was unfamiliar with both voice actors but enjoyed their performance.

Thank you, NetGalley and RBmedia for the ALC!

Absolutely heart-breaking book! And I mean full-blown ugly, gut-wrenching sobs level heart break!

Kasey and Jonah are just perfect. I loved the entire ride that this pair went on, and I was absolutely shattered at the conclusion.

I listened to the audio version of this book, and it was SUBLIME!! I felt every emotion, I lived every single scene, and both Caitlin Kelly and Kris Koscheski (although I'm certain it stated Nelson Hobbs during the credits!) were just phenomenal in their portrayal.

I've seen that there is a second book to this one, and I'm looking forward to reading it, but my heart needs to heal a bit first.

5⭐️ 1.75🌶️

This was a heartbreaking love story about a rockstar and a glass artist. I received the audiobook from NetGalley. The audiobook was amazing, you could hear the emotion in the characters voices, especially in the MMC. If you’re looking for a romance that’ll make you cry this is the one for you!

I was provided an ALC for the July 8th audiobook release for review. This is a duet style narration and both narrators are great. It’s a high quality production of the audiobook and was a pleasure to listen to.

Now onto the book content itself, it’s peak emotional damage. Kacey is a young lead guitarist for an up and coming band dependent on alcohol and partying and spiraling down a bad path. Jonah comes into her life seeing firsthand what a mess she is. Despite the odds a relationship ensues, but Jonah essentially has a terminal illness. So you know exactly where this book is going, but it’s really well done. It’s well written and I’m glad this is actually a series and not a standalone she we can see what happens in the aftermath of this book.

I knew this book would destroy me. I had my defenses way way up. And yet as soon as the end came closer I broke down. And here's my partner looking at me like I'm crazy (BTW I am) for crying over "just a book" But cry I did. And I will get round to reading All In. Just not yet.

Crying in my car even though I knew what was coming.

Kacey Dawson is the lead guitarist of a famous band and although she doesn’t like the lifestyle that comes with it, she partakes in it to get back at her neglectful parents. When she meets Jonah Fletcher, her limo driver for the night, she slowly realizes that she doesn’t need to be all those things just to spite her parents. Jonah is running out of time and needs to follow a strict schedule to finish his glass art expo in time, what he didn’t count on was Kasey. Kasey who showed him that life could be more than just glass blowing. While their friendship grew, they both realize that they were what the other needed in order to feel alive.

I listened to this one and thought that the narration was good, although sometimes a bit monotone, it didn’t take me out of the story.

I’m not going to say much because I believe that you should go into this one somewhat blind but I enjoyed the emotional and heartbreaking journey this book put me through and I can’t wait to read book 2 and see what happens next.

Overall, Full tilt (4⭐️) was a quick and easy, but very emotional, read that I enjoyed listening to. Check out the TW before reading this one!

Read if you like : Emotional reads, contemporary romance, friends to lovers

Thank you @emmascottwrites @netgalley and Tantor audio for the ALC

This was a great rollercoaster, emotional romance! Definitely have your tissues with you for this one. But you do need to follow with the next book to heal your heart! Narrators weren’t my absolute favorite but I didn’t mind them.

I went into this audiobook knowing EXACTLY what to expect as I’ve previously read the indie version.

But everytime you know what to expect it still hits you.

This book is just heartbreaking in a beautiful way. I absolutely love Jonah and Kacey.

The true opposite attracts but their love was stronger for it and beautiful, so beautiful that it’s heart wrenching.

This probably is one you shouldn’t listen to while working, like I did bc it’s an emotional roller coaster but man does it get you in the feels

Kris Koscheski and Caitlin Kelly, who I’ve never listened to before did an excellent job with this dual narration. They narrated this to perfection , and I could feel all the emotions that they were feeling when performing .

Highly recommend and have tissue handy

Thank you for the opportunity to listen to this ALC ahead of release!

I have already read the book so I was excited to see it come to life via audio. I enjoyed everything but the accents… I do struggle with accents if they’re not just *right* and I didn’t connect here. The performance and the cadence and the pacing was great though.

Emma Scott does it again. Always an emotional read if you need a good cry. Great storyline and lovable characters. For all the rockstar romance that I love, it is usually a male rockstar character. This book is a change from the norm with a female main character who is a kick ass rockstar who needs a life adjustment. The MMC is a perfect support system.

Hellooooo Mr. Walking Green Flag!! Jonah is sweet, supportive, a protector through and through. So of course, OF COURSE he’s got heart failure and is on his way to death. What kind of fuckery is this? I know this is not going to end well, yet I cannot be compelled to look away. This ripped my heart out…and I have a sneaking suspicion that another brother will put it back together in book 2.

Bravo to these narrators, deeply moving and emotional performances.

Thank you Net Galley and Tantor audio for the advance listeners copy!

That you NetGalley and Tantor audio for the re-recorded version of this audio!!

This book was everything. The audio was perfection. I haven’t had a book break my heart like that in a while! I’m definitely gonna have to take some time to recover before reading the second boom.

The story line in this book was amazing! It broke my heart countless times, but honestly. It was an amazing story! Everyone deserves to be loved at least once in their lifetime. I felt like this story shows you not to take things for granted. That time doesn’t last forever. You never know how much time you have left with someone.
