My 9 year old enjoyed this book - "An amazing book where you can learn and test your knowledge about animals and their habitats."

Me and my daughter read this book together, one that you can dip in and out off. Aimed at children 7 and upward, my daughter who is 8 loved it. Great reading as a family, this book will get you thinking with its amazing facts and colouring pictures. The great thing is is that you are learning things without knowing it, making learning fun and enjoyable and that as a parent is very appealing. My daughter loved the pictures as much as what she was reading. Highly recommend

A brilliant book for testing which is the odd one out. I found this book very informative, with coloured photos and easy to read questions. A must have if you love animals and quizzes. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Honestly this was a pleasant surprise.

I expected a rather basic repetitive quiz book but this is surprisingly engaging and interesting. It takes the basic format of an odd one out and turns it into an opportunity for learning. The answers also don't just give you the simple answer, they expand on the answer and provide a short explanation of why it is the case.

The variety of questions are interesting and cover a wide variety of fun trivia facts about the world of animals.

The design is solid, very colourful and eye catching, it's bright and fun.

I would like to offer a niche perspective: if you have a neurodivergent child who is interested in animals, this is the perfect book to give them a bonding, fun, self-confidence boosting experience. Tested and worked and we had a great time. (Your child probably is better at this than you are, and this book offers many layers of activities combining reading together, playing together, working together, etc.)

Vivid images, interesting questions, and fun facts.

Here is a fun way for kids to show off what they know...and to learn a little. There are many beautiful photos along with the chance for them to decide which critter does not belong in a given group. For example, which animal does not have one heart, or which animal does not raise its own young? These are just two of the many questions.

This book would make a nice gift for a young nature lover or a school library.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Collins Reference for this title. All opinions are my own.
