Jack and Jenna are an interesting couple. The book s humorous. I laughed several times. The characters are all caring small town people. Really enjoyed this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Coming back to Starr's Fall is always a nice visit, reconnecting with the friends I have met. Jack Wexler has moved to Starr’s Fall, and he went into the general store, and was not impressed. The owner, Jenna, and he gets off on the wrong foot. Jenna and Jack get together and talks about the general store and making improvements to bring in the tourist. One thing, Jenna didn't like was Jack could see things about herself she didn't want to see, but when she thought about it, he had hit on the truth. Things did get better after that, and they started spending time together, but it was awkward because neither one had spent much time dating. The community is always there to help with advice, bringing them together, and enjoying it all.
Life in Starr's Fall is a slower pace, and is nothing like New York, so it takes something Jack's mother says to him, to make him understand what is happening to him. Their journey is far from smooth, but like the community enjoying what was happening, I did too. I enjoyed my visit again, and look forward to another visit soon.
I received an ARC from Boldwood Books through NetGalley.

Book Review: Snowflakes Over Starr’s Fall by Kate Hewitt
Publisher: Boldwood Books. Thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the gifted book.
Snowflakes Over Starr’s Fall is a heartfelt, snow-dusted romance that blends humor, vulnerability, and the magic of new beginnings. Kate Hewitt draws readers into the wintry charm of Starr’s Fall, where store owner Jenna has settled into a life of quiet contentment—until Jack Wexler, a sharp-tongued ex-banker from New York, storms into her shop demanding smoked salmon. Their first encounter is frosty, but the sparks that fly aren’t just from clashing personalities. Hewitt uses their differences to build a connection that’s as frustrating as it is irresistible.
The strength of this novel lies in its balance. The festive backdrop never overpowers the emotional journey both characters must make. Jenna’s strength and sense of duty clash beautifully with Jack’s sarcastic edge and forced vulnerability. Forced to work together on the town’s Winter Wonderland parade, they push each other out of their comfort zones. And slowly, something real takes shape. Hewitt doesn’t rush it. She lets the tension simmer, allowing genuine growth and affection to rise between the banter and blunders.
The setting is classic small-town Christmas fare—lights, snow, traditions—but it’s the emotional realism of the characters that makes it work. Their flaws feel real, their fears relatable, and their slow fall into something deeper than attraction is what gives this book staying power.

“Maybe the best kind of magic is simply seeing someone—and being seen in return.”

Thank you to the publishers, Boldwood Books, for the chance to read Snowflakes Over Starr's Fall. This was my first book by the author Kate Hewitt. This is also the third book in the Starr's Fall series.
This book follows Jenna and Jack and their journey together in realizing that you can't judge a person by their 'cover'.
It definitely gives small town romance vibes, a slow burn enemies to lovers and a grumpy MMC.
If you are a fan of the Pumpkin Spice series by Laurie Gilmore you will with out a doubt enjoy this series! I will be going back to read the first two so I can learn the other characters that made appearances in this book.
